Guten Abend,

Battle regs on all fronts. Infected vessels have openly attacked Bayern today, they followed me all the way from Salzungenebel! It seems like they appropriated our technology as well along with nomad weapons.

Some weeks later, when serving aboard the KKS-Weltuntergang we were piled on by Coalition and Hessians.

Appears that we have plenty of enemies all around, the overtly infected Rheinland vessels in Thuringia being most concerning.

During my patrol through the Stuttgart system, I met a vessel from the Landwirtrechtbewegung with the callsign {LWB}Grau-1. At first I tried to convince the pilot of mending it's ways. Giving the men of the movement a chance to start anew in places like Holstein. While in the beginning the offer seemed reasonable for him, another Alliance vessel joined in the conversation with callsign {LWB}Baron.Wittenberg. This one being more extreme in his ideology than his kamerad. What seemed to be the start of an intriguing conversation about Synth Foods, ended up quickly in pointing fingers.

Their true colors showed up in no time when a freelancer trader vessel with the callsign "HotDog" passed by. Following their primal instinct, the Alliance's immediate objective was to pirate said vessel beside my warnings. Leaving me with no other option, I fired upon them. Holding them back long enough for the Freelancer to escape. Seeing that fighting a gunboat with fighters wasn't the best idea, they backed off into the clouds.

Guten Abend,

It appears the Kusarians of the Farmers Alliance have acquired the Landwirtrechtbewegung in some capacity - the latter sporting the former's flag, speaking of a merger they are unhappy with. I have met Farmer's Alliance's {LWB} and |DBF|, Bundschuh vessels. They seemed extremely confused, not understanding Rheinland's political system, and battling with the new times and new technology. I imagine people like those were protesting the usage of electricity, Gasoline engines or trade lanes.

Don't get me wrong, I am no more happy about the Libertonians having the technological advantages and cornering the market when it comes to space travel technology and feeding the masses - but the solution is not to leave society and take up arms against the authorities who refused to resort to killing off the competitive market and creating communism. The solution is to work together, to create better products, to dethrone Ageira and Synth Foods by technological progress and invention. And failing that - at least finding partners like the EFL that increase the market's competitiveness. The Farmer's Alliance and Landwirtrechtbewegung are relics of the past that will soon be forgotten.

These specific |DBF| people? It saddens me that there still exist people on the fringe of our society who don't realize how amazing the marriage between the Kaiser's symbol and the people's democratically elected executive power is. We have peace, prosperity and cooperation - they no longer even call themselves politicians, I suppose this particular Bundschuh sub-faction is not the edgy intellectuals we see the others as, they are just a watered-down version of the Hessians.

Unsurprisingly, both of the present groups could not stand their misguided ideology being dismantled by my factual arguments, they turned from agricultural and political activists to brute murderers who try to silence those who challenge their beliefs.

Going forward
It's almost not their failure, the LWB pilot was in his early twenties - their deluded technology-fearing parents are to blame, who led them astray. The DBF seem to be a fringe Bundschuh sub-faction who don't even claim to be politicians anymore, I suspect they will sooner or later find their way to the Hessians and their pirate ways like many of the uneducated Bundschuh have. I am sorry for their fates, outside of the amazing society we have built on the bedrock of a strong compromise in Rheinland. I for one am willing to give them more chances to see how wrong they are in the future.

Guten Abend. After a... confused meeting in the New Berlin search and rescue, I figured I should explain myself. Perhaps my side of the story might shed some light on whatever has happened. I will attempt to retell the story as best I can remember.

It happened when I began my patrol on the New Berlin system. When I came to the planet, there were two LWB agents just outside the trade lane network. However, that was not all. A patrol of Rheinland agents..? came by. Three of them. At first they seemed normal. It was four Rheinlanders against two LWB. It would be a simple housecleaning mission.

Or so I thought.

The first indication something was wrong was the weapons. They were carrying adapated Nomad cannons, I was as well. Expect for one. One was carrying... I don't even know what it was. Some sort of... He said it was a "prototype" and that they were an Rheinland task force. "Floorboard" they called their squadron. Then another Rheinlander showed up. At this point, the LWB weren't making moves, and neither were the "Rheinland agents." The LWB said something about Synth Foods being infected by Nomads. I wrote them off as crazy. Meanwhile, more and more ships kept arriving. Their task force had swelled to... five..? Members. There were about four of us. Some of the others accused the agents of being Das Wilde. They were paranoid. I guess I should have been too.

At this point everything had gone chaotic. Everyone was yelling accusations at eachother. I tried to keep things steady, but it was too late. Then all of a sudden, one of the "task force" ships just... opened fire on us. It all happened so quick. Everyone was firing at the other. We managed to take out two of them, but then the LWB opened fire on us. They were acting just as strange. We kept fighting, and I was hit and my pod ejected. I don't know what happened to the others.

My ship was wrecked in the fighting, and the only thing that saved me was the proximity to the planet New Berlin. I am now ready to return back on the lines of service. I hope this information can help find the answer to this whole confusing situation.

The visuals were destroyed in the fighting. There are no blackbox recordings remaining.

During my patrol in the Stuttgart system, yesterday, I encountered a Kruger Mineralien Bustard-class civilian carrier. It was on its way from Freistadt to the New Berlin gate. I stopped it for a scan near Planet Stuttgart. As it turned out, it was transporting Red Hessian prisoners. Upon demanding the prisoners, the vessel revealed its permission to carry the criminals to New Berlin.

Thus, I proceeded to escort the vessel to its detination: Planet New Berlin. However, unbeknownst to us, a Red Hessian Hel-class pirate cruiser awaited possible targets behind the New Berlin Gate. The Kruger and Hessian vessel proceeded to engage each other with me attempting to run interference for the Kruger vessel. Unfortunately, due to the limited armament of my fighter, I was unable to cause considerable damage to the Hessian cruiser as it destroyed the Kruger vessel.

After restocking my equipment, I noticed the Hessian vacated the vincinity of the Stuttgart gate in the New Berlin system. It must have been a hit-and-run operation. I managed to recover most of the Kruger crew's escape pods. My vessel remained undamaged during the entire patrol. The location of the Hessian cruiser remains unknown.

We were evacuating the Munich system before its collapse, but our engines were damaged, and we couldn't cruise. We saw the dark matter closing in, and then—nothing, just darkness and pressure in some sort of dark limbo system between dimensions.

Weeks and months passed. As a flagship operating in Omicron Xi, we were prepared for long-term missions and this possibility—but the darkness and depression were seeping in.

For an entire ten months, we were in this dark transit, our scanners not working, and food running out. Then we found it, an exit that spat us out in Omicron Delta, where we managed to resupply at a core base.

That wasn't meant to be the end of it, though. Our jump drive, which wasn't working during the transit darkness, malfunctioned, thrusting us into another unknown system that felt alien and damaged our vessel. We scavenged what we could to stay afloat and make our engines operational again. There were so many wrecks, so many lost souls in that system. After half a year there, we finally made it and entered one of their strange anomalies that took us to...

Omicron Gamma! For months, we searched until we gave up. Our jump drive fuel depleted, and we heard the calling of the corsairs. We didn't struggle; we shared our fate, and surprisingly, they asked for money and opened a rift for us.

Once again, it took us to an unknown system.

Knowing what to do now, we rolled the dice and appeared in Sigma-15.

Over two years had passed, and for a good ten months, I underwent therapy and got ready to return to duty. My post was still ready for me, three years after I had gone missing. The Rheinwehr is loyal. At least I haven't been gone as long as our leader, Thielau!

Guten Tag Oberkommando,

I can say proudly that the old Bismarck Battleship RLM Großer Kurfürst is safely returned to Rheinland! It will begin the disassembly shortly to use some parts for new ships. Most of the crew decided to start a new life on Holstein and some decided to continue their career in the Military. The former Konteradmiral Peter Muller will spend the rest of his life with his grandson Eddy. He is also pardoned of any misdoings in the past. I also gave them the blackbox of Eddy's father as a final memory of him. I've sent of copy of said blackbox to Oberkommando.

While the further data has been corrupted, my mind has not. Peter decided to live with his grandson Eddy somewhere in the Omicrons. Eddy will stay at the Order. His grandfather will finally go into a well earned retirement. Eddy's father Noah Müller will be decorated for his bravery in the face of death. Proof can be found in the blackbox.

Guten Tag Oberkommando,

On my scouting in the Omicrons I got ambushed by a squadron of Corsairs. They seemed not hostile however. They seemed more curious what i was doing in what they refer to as their "home turf". We exchanged some declassified information of our enemies. They got, however reports of Red Hessian activity in the sector. They wanted me to pay up, which i did as this information could be helpful in dealing with the last remnants of their forces.

It seems the Red Hessians still have forces to attack the Corsairs head on. Seems like this force fought the DTR and retreated to Dresden. After being escorted out of Omicron Delta i did a quick check in Dresden itself. Alas I couldn't find any activity of them in the system. Perhaps these Hessians used it only as a passage to another system. Below are the logs of my conversation with the Corsairs DTR-Mongrel and DTR-Torro.H.

Guten Tag Oberkommando,

I commanded the KKS-Raeren while escorting 2 prisoner transports from Alster Shipyard to Mecklenburg Prison. Someone tipped off our enemy, the Unioners as they awaited us at the jumpgate to New Berlin. We managed to hold the tradelanes closed and keep the Unioners busy while our transports got through safely. This however came at a cost. We disabled 1 of their bombers, but also 3 of our fighters got disabled during the fight. Only when the Donau Cruiser KKS-Mainz flew in the Unioners decided to retreat. The mission was successful, but some of the fighters will need repairing after this encounter. Below is the conversation log from the battle.

Guten Abend Offiziere.

I have recently finished my snap inspection, which was requested by Großadmiral Henze. I have to tell you from the get go, our existing neural net listing is significantly outdated. What's worse, two of the bases I inspected show clear signs of storing and manufacturing exotic equipment for which I could not find licenses in the database. While no one attempted to challenge me at the docks, I have a feeling that these individuals even now will begin covering up any wrong-doing.

What follows is a list of installations "out in the open". I cannot be sure that more do not exist on the edges of the elliptic, but that is a problem for our police counterparts I should think.
