The Hispania Imperial is a mixed organisation that saw its roots come from the Outcasts venturing into Sirius. Composed of various individuals, business' and families from across many different walks of life on Malta and within Maltese space, the Imperial seek to bring about a new Golden Age for their people through the directed and purposeful consolidation of Malta, her forces and her economy.

- History -

» Back to contents «

Originally, the precursor group to the Hispania Imperial comprised of small collection of families and enterprises with interests mostly on Albegna. These interested parties had various levels of involvement in Outcast space faring activities, and directed their focus on methods of exploiting both Albegna and Soledad. These two Maltese colonies were seen as routes of empowerment for the group with their status on Malta.

The group later expanded its activities by the inclusion of other interested parties with a similar goal of increasing their own status, as the organisation grew so did its ambitions. And following an influx of Outcast gangs, raiders, and smugglers being welcomed into the association, the need to establish a structure on and the vision to achieve their goals became apparent. Rodrigo Diaz was able to convince his peers to support him and his vision and with that, the Coalición Imperial Maltesa was born.

The Imperial Coalition has become a predominantly space-based economical and political movement within the Hispanic house. The Imperials seek to bring greater centralization, military might, wealth and prestige to the Outcasts as a nation and tap into the nationalistic and previous imperialistic tendencies within the society to push their agenda.

Today, the organisation is known as Hispania Imperial and is lead by Rodrigo Diaz. It has established deep connections within Maltese society; with the addition of more benefactors, some maintaining secrecy, it has allowed the group to become one of the more preeminent Outcast groups.

The reorganisation of the Hispania Imperial saw the expansion of the structure of its military arm. The newly formed Marshal Branches are lead by their own respective Marshal. The branches are intended to be specialised groups as means to cover whatever operating conditions are needed for the Imperials and their needs. Each branch typically holds its own unique ranking system, operating procedures, and objectives that the others may differ from. The groups are expected to cooperate and coordinate in what ways they can, for the betterment of Malta.

Further information of each branch is contained in the Imperial Handbook post.

- Identification -
-|-A.

The Imperial Armada is the first in the major steps towards centralising the Maltese Military under the Hispania Imperial. The aim of the Armada is to be presented and developed as the professional fighting force of the Maltese and develop the suitable doctrines, strategies and tactics for larger scale warfare along with plans on the best methods to act within the unique limitations of a Maltese Navy. The Armada also shares the responsibility with the Imperial Band with the protection of Outcast interests across Sirius, as well as being the branch with command over the Maltese ground forces.

The Imperial Band acts in many ways to fulfill the needs of the Imperials, it still maintains its position as the primary fighting force of the organisation in spite of the creation of the Armada. Pirating, Raiding, Slaving and Smuggling are all under the conditions for which the Band operates. The Band does however act as the main manpower pool for the other Marshal branches. Directors and Marshals alike still rely upon the Band to assist in their own operations as the Band still incorporates all of the various affiliated, and some what autonomous, gangs and groups collected under the branch. The Band is currently the main entry point into the Hispania Imperial.

- Identification -
-|-H.

Originally only a designation, with the reorganisation the Imperial Husares are were not considered their own regiment within the Imperial Coalition. They former worked closely with the Armada in dealing with overall strategy and tactics, being used as the vanguard to any major movement of ships to soften the targets up. Recently, they have merged with the assets of Visage and have subsequently taken over Intelligence based activities.

- Soledad Assembly -

» Back to contents «

The Soledad Assembly is the collection of enterprises within the Hispania Imperial, although the Assembly itself is lead by a Director, the branch has a number of invested parties just below the surface. Currently the Soledad is one of the more complex branches of the organisation, owing to its 'one size fits all' creation. The Assembly as it stands has a number of departments which deal with production and manufacturing on various scales, mineral extraction and exploration, as well as divisions for research and development. The commerce of Cardamine, frequently held as 'the' most important enterprise - although not all of the Assembly like to kowtow to it and wish resources were 'better' placed elsewhere -, and is currently the largest part of the Assemblies efforts.

Hispania Imperial operates with Mercantile and Subjugation diplomatic stance, and could be seen acting in either of those interests diplomatically.
Currently the diplomatic corp of the Hispania Imperial is lead by Alana Leoz.

Kin

The Imperials see the other Outcasts as their brethren, they are not considered a different group or one of a different affiliation. Instead of the typical group distancing seen with other space-bound factions, the Imperials have no established barrier as of yet.
Outcasts
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

Allies

The Golden Chrysanthemums are seen as one of the closest subjects of the Outcasts and the Imperials. Their movement has greatly expanded the market of Cardamine into Kusari and through the drug are bound to the Outcasts. The Imperials are more than willing to greatly interfere within Kusari to ensure that their local distributor maintains its operations.
GC
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

The Imperials view the Hackers as one of the more resourceful groups under the Outcast's thumb, their addiction to Cardamine ensures their dependency on Malta, but the prevailing opinion is that the group will work best without interference.
Lane Hackers
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

Practically one of the most rowdiest groups under the influence of the Outcasts, the Imperials view them the same as many useful pawns to deliver Cardamine to the population centres across Liberty. And will crackdown on them should they step out of line.
Liberty Rogues
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

Cordial

[Image: 120px-Core_Logo_Final_3_pixel_expand_resize_box.png]
The Imperials view the Core as a potential partner in destroying the local Omicron forces which both groups are hostile too. In the past agreements were made with the Outcasts and the Core which the Imperials do not currently see reason to largely change.
Core
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

The Imperials view the Junkers as a proven partner in a lucrative trade. They perform a critical role in the Cardamine trade, while also providing access to the underworld markets.
Junkers
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

The Imperials view the Zoners of Freeport 10 as an important stop for various market goods that would be otherwise not obtained by piracy and trade with the Junkers. So long as the zoners do not pose a threat to Outcast interests, they are afforded leniency with their activities.
Zoners
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

Neutral

The Imperials understand that the Blood Dragons may eventually become a problem, but tolerate their operations so long as they do not overstep their place. Recent actions of one of the associated groups have drawn the ire of the Imperials, as they sparked a conflict with their own allies and the Outcast's cardamine distributor in Kusari, GC.
Blood Dragons
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

Imperials have very little contact with the Bundshuh movement, as such the opinion are mostly neutral.
Bundshuh
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

The Imperials have had little contact with the Brigands, although they are a suitable avenue of shipping Cardamine into Gallia. They have yet to prove themselves capable of doing such.
Gallic Brigands
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

The Imperials believe that the Mollys could be a suitable candidate for a local group to funnel their interests through. Although their constant rejection of the cardamine trade and allegiance to the Coalition make such a possibility very unlikely.
Mollys
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

The Unioners have displayed interests in buying cardamine, as well as running distraction ops for smuggling convoys. Although failure to come to an agreement with the trade of cardamine and the current status following the civil war in Rheinland has aroused doubts as to what operations could be further considered with them.
Unioners
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

Distrustful

The former government of the House of Rheinland, although in their current position they may have some potential to act as a destabilizer in Rheinland to the benefit of the Outcasts. But this is dependent on what can be realistically gained.
Federalists
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

The Outcasts, like the Maquis. Engaged in open hostilities with the Royals of Gallia. However the Maquis' operations are more Gallic centric and their acceptance of cardamine is doubtful. They could otherwise be used against the Enclave should they start to threaten too much.
Maquis
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

The Outcasts view the new Imperial government with distrust. Obviously the coup has re-established a monarchy within the house, but it is currently unknown if this will beneficial or not.
Rheinland Imperials
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

Hostile

This particular group has been caught working closely with the Nomads, it is suspected that they are infected and are thralls for their alien overlords.
Auxesia
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

Following the criminalisation of cardamine once again, and their expansion back into the Taus, it has become the opinion of the Imperials that the Bretonians are an active threat to the cardamine trade.
Bretonia
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

There is not much to say about the Bounty Hunters. They often stray too far from safety never return home. They are considered a presumptuous organisation of criminals turning against criminals to gain the favour governments.
Bounty Hunters
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

The Imperials believe that the Crayter Republic are a threat to the cardamine trade. As such they are dealt with in a manner befitting those who do.
Crayter Republic
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

The primary current conflict against the Corsairs is over where the two territories meet. The two sides have such a long tradition of ruthlessness that it is unlikely for the groups to meet eye to eye. The Corsairs currently hold a monopoly on the illegal sale of alien relics, this trade however is something that the Outcasts are happy to dip into.
Corsairs
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

Gallia, the youngest house, is a market for Cardamine waiting to be exploited. Nox maybe the current trend in the region, but those have not been blessed with the famous Cardamine high. The police in the house are abyssal, and only the navy pose a potential threat.
Gallia
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

The Gas Miners currently stand in the way of the destruction of Atka Station. So long as they persist, they shall be shot. The H-fuel supplies taken from them are an added bonus.
Gas Miners
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

A group aspiring to be as powerful as the Outcasts, but latching onto the protection of a House government. These is little reason to consider talks with such a group when they actively fight against Outcast interests.
Hogosha
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

These miners reach far into the Taus to explore and exploit the rich resources in the region. This group fully understand the danger of their work and as the bodies pile continue to try. Tenacity is definitely a quirk of the group, but they provide suitable targets and entertainment for Outcasts looking for some fun.
Independent Miners
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

The Insurgency (Formerly Separatists) have shown themselves to be a thorn in the side of Liberty, and they are noted to have some users of cardamine within their ranks. Unfortunately their alliance with Auxesia and willingness to assault Outcasts make them an enemy.
Insurgency
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

Kusari is one of the main houses which Cardamine is distributed into, they have so far shown they are less corruptible than their liberty counter-parts. But the authorities are much easier to avoid. Since they reject cardamine, and openly try to engage Outcasts, they are to be swatted down should they threaten our interests more.
Kusari
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

Their futile attempts to stop the cardamine trade are ample reason to see them targeted. While their police are as corrupt as some of the criminals they claim to catch, their other forces are less so. Either way, all are suitable targets for removal for the prosperity of the trade of cardamine.
Liberty
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

People who have betrayed their own, the scum of Malta if such a thing could even be comprehensible. They are to be put down like the mutts of Sirius they are, nothing more.
Outcast Traitors
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

The Nomads were once seen as guardian spirits of the tombs of the best Maltese pilots. Now, after seeking war with humanity. It is clear they are a competitor in the domination of Sirius. Outcasts will not submit to the filthy xeno.
Nomads / Infected
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

The Imperials see these people as the scum of Sirius. There is not much that can be said in a positive light about these fools and degenerates. They are however more likely to get themselves killed than need Outcasts to do anything about it.
Sirius Coalition
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

The Imperials see the Order as border nuisance. Although their crusader is admirable, they have all but forgotten that is their objective and instead have become more of a political entity and shadow of its former self. So long as it pursues this path, it will be fought against.
The Order
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

A competitor in the Gallic drug trade, and sometimes seen attempting to expand their market into Sirius. The Unione Corse have also been seen attempting to intercept vessels transporting cardamine. As such, they are now treat as hostile.
Unione Corse
■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■

The Xenos are a simple organisation, much like the Outcasts they do not like outsiders in their territory. However, unlike Outcasts they do not understand the benefits of cooperating with outsiders nor establishing yourself at the top of the hierarchy. The Imperials see these folk as inevitable enemies due to their unwillingness to align with an outsider.
Xenos
