The Kyushu system is one of the three main systems of Kusari. It was the third system settled by Kusari. The system is visually very striking due to its two suns and has the equally striking gas giant Aso, whose resources are mined by the Tsushima Depot, and the populated Planet Kyushu. The system connects Kusari with the Tau Region.
The planet of the same name is particularly important and the central settlement location of the system. Kyushus is a very fertile planet and, along with Stuttgart, Los Angeles, Cambridge and New Paris, is one of the largest food producers in Sirius. Economically, the system is practically entirely in the hands of Samura. However, they sold the agricultural rights to Synth Foods, which led to the founding of the Farmers Alliance, with which Samura continues to wage a small war in the system to this day.
As a border region to the Tau, Kyushu became the KNF's central staging point for the Tau War. When this was ended by the sudden invasion of Gallia, the puppet Republic of Kusari finally emerged in Kusari, supported particularly by Kishiro and Gallia. The Kyushu system suffered under the new administration and lost much of its economic importance due to the ongoing war in the Taus. When those loyal to the emperor - previously known as the Kusari Exiles - finally returned from their Bretonian exile with the emperor, they were welcomed with joy in Kyushu (especially by samura) and the Kusari Civil War began. During the war, Kyushu was the temporary capital of the empire. However, after the imperial victory in the civil war, it was moved back to New Tokyo. After the many wars, a relative recovery began in Kyushu, which was destroyed by various natural disasters on the planet in 833 AS. There are also major raids by the Blood Dragons.

Areas of Interest
Nebulae
Seiran Dust Cloud
>>>WARNING: NAVIGATIONAL HAZARD<<<
A large Crow nebula cloud. Its poor visibility makes it ideal cover for terrorist groups such as the Blood Dragons and the Golden Chrysanthemum.
Asteroid Fields
Hayate Dust Field
>>>WARNING: NAVIGATIONAL HAZARD<<<
A large field of fine particulate matter. The Farmer's Alliance has claimed the field and is believed to take advantage of its scanner-scrambling properties as a means of discussing strategy away from prying eyes and ears.
Ohka Dust Field
>>>WARNING: NAVIGATIONAL HAZARD<<<
A large field of fine particulate matter. Scanners work poorly at best within the field, providing excellent concealment for Blood Dragon and Golden Chrysanthemum members to strike against Trade Lane traffic and other targets such as the Nansei Research Complex and Tsushima Depot. The Battleship Nagumo was recently stationed at the edge of the field to keep the Trade Lanes clear and protect the Tau-29 Jump Gate.
