        Areas of Interest

        Nebulae

        Asteroid Fields

        New London Gate Debris Field

The destruction of the New London Gate, in addition to contributing to the collapse of several connections to Dublin, also resulted in a considerable field of debris and toxic waste.

        Founder's Asteroid Field

        >>>CAUTION<<<

The Founder's Gold Field is the richest pocket of free-floating Gold in the Sirius Sector. It was once exclusively claimed by BMM, who ringed the area with a minefield to control all access. While the destruction of Graves Station largely halted BMM's operations, extremely dangerous wildcat mining continues.

NOTE: The Mollys claim control over Dublin; they will attack any outsiders who enter areas under their control.

        Arranmore Asteroid Field

        >>>CAUTION<<<

After the Founder's Day Revolt and the subsequent bloody reprisals by the Bretonian Armed Forces, the majority of the Mollys took refuge in this asteroid field, ringing the perimeter with a treacherous minefield. Deposits of Gold scattered throughout the field previously funded much of the Mollys' efforts.

NOTE: The Mollys claim control over Dublin; they will attack any outsiders who enter areas under their control.

        Hood Asteroid Field

Near the wreck of the Hood lies an asteroid field, already plundered of any Gold it may have once held. Currently the field is the site of an extremely hazardous race course that the jaded inhabitants of the Hood once liked to run when hopped up on the sunshine that passes for alcohol aboard the ship. Racing has largely halted following the Hood’s destruction, save by the Corsairs who now control the area.

NOTE: The Mollys claim control over Dublin; they will attack any outsiders who enter areas under their control.

        Achill Asteroid Field

A medium-sized asteroid field with Gold deposits, once worked by independent miners from the Hood who were generally unfriendly to anyone who might lay stake to their claims. Mining has largely ceased since the destruction of the Hood. Large numbers of Corsairs are present within the field.

NOTE: The Mollys claim control over Dublin; they will attack any outsiders who enter areas under their control.

        Inishmore Asteroid Field

A rocky asteroid field in the south of Dublin. While trace deposits of Gold were initially surveyed in the Inishmore, they were never considered feasible for extraction, with industrial efforts focusing elsewhere in the system. Coalition, Corsair and Molly patrols are frequently sighted around the area.

        The Remains

The so-called Remains, is a debris field mainly compiled from the wrecks of Gallic and Bretonian ships destroyed in the battle between the battlecruisers Carillon and Blackrock. Mixed in are a handful of Molly ships who fell in the fighting. Currently, the area is under the Mollys control and salvaging operations are being performed at a slow rate, saving what can be saved and melting down what could be used later.

        Wrecks

        Rojo - G/H-7/6

The Rojo was a Coalition military fighter piloted by Commander Juan Costello. Costello was known for their brash flight style, often choosing to carry out scouting missions alone in the hope of catching enemies unaware. This approach seems to have fatally backfired, likely after encountering a wing of Bounty Hunters.

        Contains:

        Mianadóir - E-3

This asteroid miner was captured by the Mollys in 831 AS after the stranded BMM crew surrendered. Fearing an inevitable Bretonian counterattack, the Mollys executed several plans to fortify the system, including mining the Achill Asteroid Field with improvised bombs. The Mianadóir was destroyed by Corsairs in 834 AS while carrying out this work.

        Contains:

        - E-3

        - E-3

        - E-3

        Ballycorus - F-6/7

The Ballycorus was a BMM asteroid miner that was marooned in Dublin when Bretonia withdrew from the system. Many mining ships quickly surrendered to the Mollys, however the crew of the Ballycorus refused and retreated deeper into the Gold field. After an extended standoff, the Mollys attempted to board the ship to prevent the crew from sabotaging it. After three attempts were repulsed, the ship was written off as a loss and destroyed.

Escort of the Storm - D-6

An escort of the Storm, a Bretonian gunboat that hit a mine and exploded while chasing rebels in the Founders Day Revolt of 752.

        Contains:
