"Mons Meg" Gallic Battleship Heavy Mass Driver
One of Gallia's intelligence operations during the second half of the war against the allied powers of Sirius retrieved the design schematics for the battleship-class weapon that would be eventually publicly released as the Hellbore-type mass driver series. Based on the same electromagnetic propulsion principles as the weapon it was based on, the "Mons Meg" varies in the layering of materials used in the explosively-formed penetrator of the warhead and the coating of the projectile in a brilliantly-sparking burgundy tracer that serves primarily for displays of sophistication and might. Battleships both of the Enclave and of post-royal Gallia are often seen with this weapon both due to its efficacy and its intimidation factor.
*This turret is only compatible with Dreadnought class ships.
