NOMAD POWER CELL

At some point prior to the Colony Wars, a Rheinland expedition sponsored by Chancellor Niemann pushed deep into a then-uncharted Omega system. While excavating a barren planet, they discovered two Daam-K’vosh Power Cells sealed in stasis. One was catastrophically lost during the attempt at removal, while the second was successfully extracted. The surviving Power Cell was withdrawn to Thuringia for study.

Following the collapse of Sirius’ Daam-K’vosh energy network following the Nomads' defeat in Omicron Major, the Wild of Omega-58 used this Cell's mass to energy conversion protocols to create their own local power supply, narrowly avoiding energy-starvation. Their experimentation on the Cell’s mechanisms later provided the blueprint for the Nomads’ crude attempts at replicating this ancient technology. Limited numbers of Nomad Power Cells have now been produced, allowing for more and more inert Daam-K’vosh structures sequestered throughout the deep Omicrons to be reactivated.
