      Areas of Interest

      Nebulae

      Dartmoor Cloud

A mid sized outcropping of the Barrier Nebula.

      Blackdown Cloud

A small outcropping of the Barrier Nebula, rich with ice asteroids.

      Alegranza Cloud

A sizable outcropping of the Barrier Nebula in the Omega-49 system.

      Asteroid Fields

      Stirling Debris Field

Remains of the Battle of Stirling in 827 AS, between Bretonia and the combined Coalition and Molly forces. The Stirling and the Astana, along with various debris from the battle, linger inside the field.

      Wrecks

      Astana - D/C-5

The CPW Astana was one of the Coalition battlecruisers involved in the battle against the HMS Stirling in 827 AS. During the Gallic War, Bretonia sought to open a new frontier in Omega-49 after establishing a connection to Poole. Aware of Bretonia's plans, the Coalition launched an ambush on the Stirling with superior force, ultimately losing the Astana in the process.

The Astana suffered a devastating blow to its engines from the Stirling, triggering an explosion that spread through the rear of the ship. However, the extent of the damage exceeded expectations, raising questions about possible negligence during the Astana's maintenance and inspection, or even the possibility of sabotage. While most of the crew managed to evacuate in time, the battlecruiser was damaged beyond repair.

      Arnomendi - C/D-7

Arnomendi once belonged to an ill-famed Corsair, Olivia Velasquez, known for her exceptional hatred for all Bounty Hunters, and Zoners who gave them shelter on their Edge World bases. While most other Corsairs repected the Zoners' neutrality, Olivia and several other Corsairs who shared her ideas had covertly hijacked several Zoner convoys in 815-816 AS. Finally, she angered the Zoners so much that they bribed the Corsairs to leak the info on Olivia's next target. Outnumbered by Zoner ships who surrounded her, Olivia refused to surrender and was captured by force. No one has heard from her since.

      Contains:

      Drunken Squirrel - C-2

The remains of the Drunken Squirrel, a Molly Harrier once piloted by Sinead O'Shea, lingering in the ice field. The ship was on a routine patrol through a dense asteroid field when an unexpected asteroid crossed its path. Sinead made a desperate last-second maneuver, clipping the asteroid with the Harrier's left wing. The vessel was immediately rendered inoperable, and Sinead's escape pod was retrieved by one of her colleagues.

The story of the Drunken Squirrel quickly became infamous among the local Molly garrison, with many poking fun at Sinead's misfortune. Rumor has it that Sinead has vowed never to fly in asteroid fields again.
