Greetings, director, fellow agents.

As we have anticipated, Sabah's finalization has made room for other technical matters to be addressed. Amongst these, the C.I.S. engineers have brought forth a few new and interesting additions to our experimental sets of equipment.

After acquiring a "Waran" class bomber, we have managed to retrofit it with parts from a Pytho in order for it to work perfectly, and since the designs were initially taken from us by the IMG, there was no compatibility issue with our specific tech.

Additionally, aside from the usual weapons, the craft has been equipped with an experimental S.N.A.C. What's more - it seems our scientists have also managed to modify the ship with a new set of engines. More information about these pieces will be up-linked below.
AN-4 "Cerberus" Antimatter Cannon Wrote:The "Cerberus" supernova generator, an antimatter cannon devised by the CDI's division for top-notch equipment, is still in the experimental phase. Still, this particular weapon has been designed specifically for what the Republic's Military faces now, which is the relentless Gallic fleet. The science behind it uses ideologies from the old days of Crayter, but with additional inputs from Sirian discoveries in antimatter technology.

Engine Wrote:Based on the HN-C11 series, these new engines provide versatile speed control and an adequate cruise-entering system. They have also been designed to work on a wide range of fuels, including Gallic Oil. The fuel samples that the Movers have provided from their various smuggling routes were the key to this latest development.

I managed to take this bird trough a quick sweep by the Taus today, for a test flight. I must say the results are amazing. The quick reaction and increased damage output were the first things i noticed.

During this sweep i also encountered two transports. The first one was a Gaul, emitting EFL signatures. Although i gave the frog a chance to drop what cargo he had and leave, he refused - which lead to his demise. The second one was a Kishiro vessel. As per our orders, in an attempt to impede supplies going towards the KNF, i asked the captain to jettison his hold, but he refused and was quickly forced into the escape pod.

All in all - the new upgrades are very useful. I was told Sempiternal also refitted her Nyx with the new Engines, and i imagine the rest of the agents may do so too if they wish.

Sentinel, signing off.

Agents,

It has been a while since I've last sent you a formal message, but I'm certain Sentry has made sure you know why. Nevertheless, we should turn our view to more pressing matters.

Recent reports from our space have continued to mention frequent sightings of BDM agents. In some cases, one such agent would have avoided any proper contact beyond mere "apologies" for his presence, while other cases report about suicidal actions as a means to escape, avoiding interaction with our forces. It would be best if some of you investigated the matter, however you see fit.

In a different spectrum, it has come to my attention that several sources are spreading news about a possible summit in New Tokyo between the Kusarian Government and Gallic representatives. If that is true, which seems to be the case, then it's a perfect opportunity for us to carefully obtain some intelligence, and perhaps even intervene if the circumstances prove it as useful. Sentinel's working on compiling a complete data-file with what you need for this operation, so stand by for information.

Good luck!

Signed, Aidan White.

Good day, Director and agents.

Wraith reporting in after a covert sweep in the Taus. After an encounter with our enemies in the KNF, i managed to take a close look-up on their ships while avoiding any shooting. I wanna say their ships might actually be useful if we'd be able to have one; and unlike Gallic technology, Kusarian tech could be easier to fix for our use. Whether we're talking about fighters or bombers, either can work to our advantage; so i'd say we investigate on this lead.
I'll be waiting for further orders.

Wraith out.

Agent Wraith,

A commendable initiative; and since what you suggest has been discussed before, as well as now, perhaps it is time we move on to the next phase. Considering you're eager to work on this, I'll assign you as the lead agent on this op. but do make sure to gather some agents to aid you.

Well then - as standard protocol for the assignment's first stage, you are to proceed mainly covertly. Get close to enemy ships, scan and analyze them, then bring the data back to HQ. If the circumstances allow it, you may engage them to analyze weapons tech, but caution is a top priority. As soon as we have the intel. we need, stage two can begin.

Good luck!

Signed, Aidan White.

17th Operatives,

I have been notified by Director White that Operation Remnant Squared is to be commenced. Prepare your ships for transit to the area. It may be a routine job, but it's a dangerous place.

With caution,
Senior Agent Mark Raynes,
17th "Rapiers" Spec Ops Squadron,

Greetings.

Newly minted Agent Orion, reporting in. After taking one of the Nyxes to be refit with weaponry that fit my fighting style, I formed up with Agent Nocturnal and Senior Agents Theseus and Sentry. We headed from the Taus into Kyushu, on our way to complete Operation Remnant Squared. However, I was caught by what I can only assume was a rogue Blood Dragon element. The Blood Dragons seemed to want us to pay for travelling through Kyushu, but we were having none of that. The Blood Dragons tried and failed to threaten us into paying, and meanwhile, pursuing Contari fighters came onto the field. Eventually, it escalated into a standoff between Contari fighters, Blood Dragon snubs, an ALG snubcraft, two IMG fighters and us four agents. The Contari, ALG, and IMG eventually broke off when we made our attempt to escape, and all but myself was able to make it through the New Tokyo jump hole. Sensing that they would attempt to disrupt the mission, I turned to face the pursuing Blood Dragon craft.

Before long, the Blood Dragons began to engage me, so I was forced to act in self defense. I was successful in eliminating two of them, and worked on dogfighting the third. However, due to an apparent match in skill and a lack of ability to destroy each other, we called a draw and went our separate ways. I was able to repair my vessel aboard the Interspace station Roppongi before heading back down to Coronado.

Roughly four hours later, I was called upon by Major Flint of the gunboat Nestor, desgination K428. He informed me that I was to escort the gunboat and the delegation aboard to Aomori Station, making sure that it arrived safely and unharmed for the trade talks with GMG. The flight was very...quiet. No ships were spotted the entire trip through Liberty into Rheinland. Finally, we met an Order vessel flying a peculiar model of Sabre. Major Flint and the pilot, known only as Valkyrie, chatted for a bit - I've displayed the conversation below -, before we moved on into Honshu. We then successfully docked at Aomori without incident. Hopefully, it'll remain that way.

[12.08.2014 20:46:16] CR|-Nestor[K428]: Flint: Is that some sort of Sabre?
[12.08.2014 20:46:35] Order|Valkyrie: Just the basic frame of.
[12.08.2014 20:47:29] CR|-Nestor[K428]: Flint: Interesting. What brings the Order out here?

[12.08.2014 20:54:22] Order|Valkyrie: I've had my fair share of sightseeing when Freelancing around these parts.

[12.08.2014 20:55:28] Order|Valkyrie: What brings you to Aomori?
[12.08.2014 20:55:41] CR|-Nestor[K428]: Flint: That's why we're here, actually. Minister Steele is onboard to discuss trade and other matters with the Gas Miners Guild
[12.08.2014 20:56:38] Order|Valkyrie: Steele... funny. My mother's maiden name... I do not think we're related.
[12.08.2014 20:57:13] Order|Valkyrie: Anyway, GMG are the only stable thing in Kusari about now.
[12.08.2014 20:57:35] CR|-Nestor[K428]: Flint: Likely not, no. He's not on the bridge at the moment either ... he doesn't like prolonged space travel very much at all.
[12.08.2014 20:58:11] CR|-Nestor[K428]: Flint: Heh, that's because they spend most their time outside of it, right?
[12.08.2014 20:58:35] Order|Valkyrie: Independent since... 300 A.S. is it?
[12.08.2014 20:58:42] Order|Valkyrie: It worked only good for them.
[12.08.2014 20:59:04] CR|-Nestor[K428]: Flint: I'm afraid I'm not all too familiar with Sirian history
[12.08.2014 20:59:57] Order|Valkyrie: Colonial history in Sirius begun circa 802 A.S.
[12.08.2014 21:00:06] Order|Valkyrie: You were lucky in this case.
[12.08.2014 21:00:20] CR|-Nestor[K428]: Flint: We're the uh ... Blood Dragons formed around the same time in Kusari as the GMG became independent?
[12.08.2014 21:00:24] Order|Valkyrie: Earlier you would've been caught in this hellstorm known as Nomad War.
[12.08.2014 21:00:36] CR|-Nestor[K428]: Flint: So I've been told
[12.08.2014 21:01:12] Order|Valkyrie: Same century I believe...
[12.08.2014 21:01:26] Order|Valkyrie: I never been good to dates but there shouldn't be much difference in years there.
[12.08.2014 21:02:35] CR|-Nestor[K428]: Flint: Interesting. To my knowledge, the Colonial Republic has dealth with them a few times before
[12.08.2014 21:02:50] CR|-Nestor[K428]: Flint: They're much more tolerable than other Kusarians
[12.08.2014 21:03:29] Order|Valkyrie: Well... it depends.
[12.08.2014 21:03:44] Order|Valkyrie: They're conservative in their own way.
[12.08.2014 21:03:51] Order|Valkyrie: But they wont cut your head on good morning.
[12.08.2014 21:04:15] Order|Valkyrie: Foreigners can prove worthy enough to actually be considered an equal or a hero among them.
[12.08.2014 21:04:16] CR|-Nestor[K428]: Flint: Uh ... you're being sarcastic, right?
[12.08.2014 21:05:10] CR|-Nestor[K428]: Flint: Oh well that's not too bad
[12.08.2014 21:06:31] Order|Valkyrie: Well, stuff of them I mostly know from others.
[12.08.2014 21:06:32] CR|-Nestor[K428]: Flint: I just would rather keep my head where it is
[12.08.2014 21:06:51] CR|-Orion[17th]: Heads tend to be...important.
[12.08.2014 21:07:20] Order|Valkyrie: Kind of.
[12.08.2014 21:10:11] Order|Valkyrie: Hmm... your Minister has not realized yet you've ceased to move?
[12.08.2014 21:10:55] CR|-Nestor[K428]: Flint: He's probably trying to distract himself as much as possible. As I said, he's not too fond of being out here so long
[12.08.2014 21:11:13] CR|-Nestor[K428]: Flint: But indeed, we shoot get moving
[12.08.2014 21:11:37] CR|-Orion[17th]: I'd be inclined to agree.
[12.08.2014 21:12:01] Order|Valkyrie: See you... next time, I guess.
[12.08.2014 21:12:06] CR|-Nestor[K428]: Flint: I don't believe I caught your name ... I'm Major Flint, Colonial Military. And you are?
[12.08.2014 21:13:33] Order|Valkyrie: They call me... Valkyrie.
[12.08.2014 21:13:41] Order|Valkyrie: The Order Intelligence Service.
[12.08.2014 21:14:02] CR|-Nestor[K428]: Flint: Alright, Valkyrie. Have a safe flight.
[12.08.2014 21:14:08] CR|-Nestor[K428]: Flint: Orion, let's head out
[12.08.2014 21:14:13] CR|-Orion[17th]: *nods*[/spoiler]

Director, Agents...

Our recon group consisting of agents Sentry, Theseus, Orion, And myself departed from the Taus, followed by a few problems. Outcasts were on our tail most of the time, But we were able to overtake them for a while, until some Blood Dragons demanded us to stop. And by so, the Outcasts were able to catch us near Planet Kyushu.
Fortunately, reinforcements from the Miner's Guild and The Firebirds squadron provided us cover to carry on with out Operation. However, due to some misunderstanding on the Blood dragons' part, Agent Orion was caught up with the fight. However, the Operation had to be continued.

Once the Recon squadron arrived the Omicrons, on our way to Omicron Lost, Many Zoner Installations were located throughout the systems starting from Theta ending with Delta.

Once Lost was reached, we headed towards one of our lost storage, a surprise was waiting for us however. A small attachment to the depots that seemed to be rather new was found, we spread out to analyze the said attachment, And we have found out the following:

[Image: AnxYE4B.png][Image: HEyBjxH.png]

Location: The Installation is located near Planet Moros, Moros Asteroid Belt to be exact, As it is attached to the old Colonial depot.

Affiliation and Transponder: The installation got no ID Transponder, Affiliation is unknown, Therefore, docking isn't possible.

Defensive grid: Powerful defensive grid, multiple weapon platforms. Defense system has not been tested.

Weakness spot(s): A spot was noticed behind the depot's edge, where non of the Weapon platforms could reach it.

That should be all. Awaiting new instructions.

It appears we've stirred up quite the hornet's nest. Or perhaps, a better way to put it is that a hornet's nest has been stirred on our turf. Recently, there was a big sparring match in Coronado. Lots of Liberty military fighting what appeared to be rogue LSF agents, with Outcast support. Feeling that the Libertonians could use a bit of help, I singled out one of those sniffer dogs and took him on one-on-one. Few minutes later, there's one less sniffer in the verse.

Here's where things got...complicated. The 5th Fleet successfully destroyed one of those "Division 9" ships, apparently some kind of rogue LSF wing, that's "possibly infected". They were carrying some kind of nomad tech, and the 5th officer picked it up. Commander-Major Flint of the Ares, the C.O. for the mission, demanded it to be delivered to the Ares, but he was denied by the 5th officer, in direct violation of the treaty of Curacao. After some more probing, it appears he wanted to use it for "evidence" and then would turn it over to the Republic at a later date. Very ominous, if I must comment on it. I've noted the full recording of the conversation post-engagement below, if you're interested, Director.

[29.08.2014 18:55:19] CR|-Orion[17th]: One less.

Agent Orion, reporting in.

Took a stroll on up to Tau-23, today. Met with Laura Huntington of the IMG, and we did some anti-smuggling patrols. Nice change of pace from the desk work and recon jobs.

Before long, one of those sniffer Sabre ships comes along, being all arrogant and generally obtrusive. So, I decide to take him on - and take him down, too. That's one less sniffer we'll have to deal with. As we sat and waited for any smugglers to chance on by, the GRN|RNS-Mont.Blanc, an Obstinate-class, undocked from Java Station, and engaged both myself and a nearby Council gunboat. Poor gunboat got blown up, and my engine got tagged by one of his Cerberus turrets. I floated out of view near Falkland, where one of the IMG folk picked up my wreck and took me aboard. Once the coast was clear, I took off back towards Tau-29, where I'm currently at.

Awaiting further orders,
Agent Orion, out.

Agents,

Alot of changed for the Intelligence Service lately, foremost is the reoccuring change in the position of Director. The retirement of Agent White and the following leaving of his replacement have shook us, but we remain a strong and determined force to be reckoned with. Remember who you are. You are Rapier, those few chosen men and women whom everyone in the Republic looks up to. The person that every head turns to when you enter the Ambrosia in your grey flight suit. The pilot who is respected wherever he turns up. Embrace the essence of being a Rapier and spread our influence across the stars.

Moving forward, we will require new Interstellar Charting, an updated view at the frontlines and further. We need to know what our enemies have been up to, where they went and what they are planning. As such, the following assignments are being handed out:

Agent Orion is being tasked with the reconnaissance of the systems of Edinburgh, Orkney, Tau-23 and Tau-31.

Agent Nocturnal
is being tasked with the reconnaissance of the systems of Dundee, Tau-29, Tau-37 and Kyushu

Agent Blood Asp is being tasked with the reconnaissance of Leeds, Newcastle, Omicron 80 and Tau 39.

I will personally scope out the situations in Roussillion, Tau 44, Cortez and our home and bordering Systems.

You have your assignments Agents, get to it.

Agent Tempora
Director of the CIS
