Biography: Amedeo Caviano was born to a family of slaves on Planet Malta. Amedeo's parents once lived and worked like an average family on Denver in Colorado. One day, their supervisor gave them the chance to work on Pittsburgh, otherwise, they would lose their jobs. As they had no options besides moving, they accepted the transfer to Pittsburgh. Being transported by an Orbital Spa and Cruise Shuttle, along with many co-workers, the convoy stumbled upon a pack of Outcasts. It didn't take long until the shuttle's escape pods came to use, unfortunately right in the vicinity of said Outcast swarm. The outcast took as many escape pods with them as they could, the rest either died or were saved by salvagers. Amedeo's parents were traded inbetween many small Outcast cells, until they ended up working as slaves on Planet Malta. Their governor offered the local slaves to free them, but only if they birth and raise a child, so they could eventually be used as an Outcast pilot on the war front against Corsairs. The enslaved family saw an opportunity of freedom in the offer, and so Amedeo was born. They had to give him a maltese name as they feared the Outcasts would not accept their original surname.
Amedeo was raised by his parents until the Outcasts took him with them to educate him to one of their soldiers. Amedeo's parents told their child about their past, but he never knew what happened to his parents afterwards. Amedeo always kept the tale of his parents to himself, and he hoped every day to find his parents again one day. The Outcasts taught him everything he needed to fight Corsairs, or what ever opponent comes along in a spaceship. Ever since he turned old enough, Amedeo fought on the war front. It was The Core and Corsairs he had to fend off. During one skirmish in Omicron Alpha, his squad was weakened and fighting to survive. When the opponents were focused on fending off other Outcasts, Amedeo used the opportunity to escape to Omicron Theta, seeking freedom on the local Freeport. In order to survive and earn his daily food rations, he had to do all the dirty, underpaid work. As he has great dislike against the Houses, he does not apply for a job of one of their corporations. Given his background, they wouldn't have accepted him among their ranks anyhow. Amedeo stumbled upon an ad in the bar's neural net TV. As they consist of Freelancers, he sees his opportunity to leave this hole of a Freeport by submitting an application.
Why do you wish to join us?: My talents are wasted on this Freeport. I would like to make use of my piloting skills to escort the independent.
