It has occurred to Dr. Vale and myself that a continued exploration of the Omicron systems is an extremely dangerous proposition. With frequent Nomad patrols, and the existence of a corsair base in system as well, we need a little more protection than our mobile laboratories provide. By the way we have seen Corsair patrols in the system, thankfully they were too busy on errands of their own to trouble us.

We would like you to add to our team someone with experience in system mapping and charting, in essence a cartographer. Both Dr. Vale and I have no problems mapping a system, but it seems we need to be about our business swiftly at times, therefore having an expert with us would not only speed up our effort, but also free us up to devote our time to our areas of expertise.

Not only do we request an expert in this field but a ship with the firepower to ward off the Nomads while we work would prove beneficial as well. The Zoners are not always available to provide assistance when we need it, nor should we expect them to be.

Im sure someone in the ranks of IMG fits this profile. Have them rendezvous with us at Freeport 11. By the time they get here Dr. Vale and I will be wrapping up our initial findings.

Greets fellow miners and defenders of those who mine...and transport. Etc.
Received a distress call from miners in the northern O7 fields, IMG|OreCrusher and IMG|Caleb.Vale[M],
they were being pirated by a Corsair Raba transport, Benitez(CT)-Arana. That's pretty normal I'd say.
Happens all the time, gets fought off all the time. But then, just as that transport ran away a few k, two
Hessians, RoterBaron - a gunboat - and Graf_Gallenstein - a bomber, showed up. They demanded -
not asked for - credits from our miners! Piracy, that's what I call that. And they call themselves
Revolution? Guess some of them have missed the idea of "the free workers"! Our miner paid...

They chased that Corsair to the Omega-5 jumphole and then flew to Freistadt, where two of our transports,
IMG|Porcupine and IMG|Wolverine, were waiting. Again they tried pirating us - demanded
even three million credits from those transports! That's when I decided I will not stand by while those
"Revolutionists" rob us!

Short said: I underestimated that GB's shield, but still, with some help of the transports, the gunboat blew up
and their bomber followed shortly after.

Helping the revolution is one thing. Hell, I'd even give'm a little donation, but not when they demand it
straight away like this. When the transports flew through Stuttgart, they tried it again, but reminding
them of what happened earlier they let them pass and I returned to Freistadt.

Oh, and yeah, I forgot there was another Corsair around after those pirates were defeated, but a
mercenary decided to have fun with him. Dunno how their fight ended, when I return neither was still
around.

Just thought I should report about this, not that you'd think I just shot Hessians without a reason.

Anyway, I'll be heading to the bar now and then to bed. Guess my shift for today is over.
Good night.

We found a fine cartographer in our ranks. His name is David Ribbentrop. He will be assigned in the Gunship IMG|Voyager which will also act as an escort for your expedition.

We are aware that these sectors are extremely dangerous, so if you have any other requests, please let us know.

A mercenary of the FIST group who intercepted a slaver ship in New London space, called us in to rescue the survivors, as we were close to the site and the first to respond. Transport "Lavafluss" was able to rescue 3000 captives and deliver them to New London Planet.

Well, I'm... back. Yeah.
Traveled back down to the lovely orange Omegas from the rocky Taus by means of Kusari and the territory of our friends, the GMG. Once I arrived in New Berlin, I took a pit stop at Kreuzberg and was contacted by a freelancer who wanted to tell me there was a pirate in a bomber at Freistadt shooting down our rookie patrol ships.
Despite the fact that most of them are automated drones, I decided that this was an important issue and set out for Freistadt. Here's the log of my experiences.

Fighting Report: Wednesday, 9.11.

IMG forces detected a Storta (Killer of Sirius) and a Dreadnought (MNS Monty) in Tau 23 but lost contact. Contact was reestablished in Tau 37 and the Destroyer was taken out with two IMG bombers and the help of a SMP Fighter craft.

Later on, MNS Monty was spotted again, this time with a Slaver Transport which was carrying 4280 individuals. It was told to stop, which it did, but then it tried to run at a good moment. Bad decision. It was destroyed and the transport IMG Tanzanite took the survivors to Freeport 10.

After the return to Tau 23, the IMG encountered more and more Outcast Forces, this is when the massive fight started in which Council, Colonials and some Mercs fought on our side successfully against reinforcing Outcast forces, mainly Gunboats, also some snubcraft and two Capitals of Dreadnought class.

There were no IMG ships lost today, but the Colonial pilots took the brunt of the enemy action, also the Council Battleship was a target of focus to the Outcast forces.

The pictures are guncam pictures of all kills, not all mine. I missed to take pictures of the Dreadnought that the Colonial bomber assault wing took out really fast. I also missed some kills against snubs, as I was hardly paying attention to them.

I am a bit proud, because I managed to hit a bomber with an Snac today. That's a first. One round on me, I guess. But that's worth it.

I'm sorry, to be a bit late but I'm drowning in the paper work aftermath of this weeks happenings.
This week I was escorting the the Procupine and the Wolvering from Freistadt to Narita,. I was the only escort pilot available at that time so I scouted ahead to provide security.
As soon as we entered Rhineland we thought being followed.
while we entered sigma 17 we where defenatly sure, that we are beeing followed by ghost's.
We had brief com contact, but we could evade them and deliver all Silver to Narita.
So we headed for Tau -23 from Narita the Procupine was brought up by the Ghosts, due to cleverly Tradlane disruption that let me and the Wolverine through.
When I reached the site the Procupine was already feed by the Ghosts and had paid up, while the Wolvering headed to the a meeting point at Tsushima.
I then escorted the Procupine to the meeting point. At our arrival the the Wolverine had headed to the Tau Jump hole and was under attack by a Ghost Bomber. I engaged, but shortly there after 2 more Ghost bombers came to the fighting spot.
I was shortly outnumbered. I was able to damage the bomber that engaged the Wolverine severely as I went down I cloud see that it could only uses 2 of its Gun and its SNAC while the other two bombers where give me the rest.

A day later after we filled our personal reports, we made our trip back from Java to New Berlin with Niobium. This was uneventful and the Wolverine and Procupine safely reached New Berlin. I then escorted both vessels back to Freistadt but didn't stop because I was needed at Dublin for a patrol run.

Message begins

I had 'eard somewhere something about Rory's bunch trying to make good with us - fat lot of good that after all the spilled blood and shattered hulls, but..well... peace costs less. So I took the Wolverine today on a solo run to New Berlin. First leg went fine. On my way to O7 with the Mining machinery cargo I stumbled into a lane disruption on the Bon-Stutgart JG lane caused by mr. Lord_of_Water /in this ship /. I was ready to run or fight when this interesting conversation happened.
So I went ahead, all fat and happy, unloaded on Freistadt, got me a refined silver cargo and took the way back. Remind me not to trust a pirate's word again, please. On my way back, on the same spot, the same lad this time was not cooperative. I had no desire to test Ifni's mood and decided to go on and pay up.
It looks loke Rory is either not sincere enough, or he does not seem to 'ave his dogs on a leash as short as he thinks.
Well, thought you all might make some use of all that.

Vale over 'n out

Pirates at Omega 3 Freeport BAF getting shoot in the NFZ of FP1 and the BAF and the MNS-Razorspine orbiting planet Leeds.

Yesterday I was patrolling from Omega 7 to Cardiff as I stumbled upon a Ghost docking at Freeport one, being with the Pirate in the NFZ of the Freeport i said to i get him if he leaves the NFZ knowing that they operate not alone and i called the BAF as well as IMG support in and then he started provoking me as another of them approached the station and docked. As the BAF and betaone moved in system, they left in direction Aland Shipyard. I didn't follow because I know my fighting skills against two bombers is quite slim in my eagle (would be sheer luck if I would bring down two of them alone and I don't gamble with luck because it is treacherous. ) So I didn't follow them.

[color=#33CCFF]Meanwhile another independent pirate in a Ahoudori Gunboat tried to "fee" the BAF for being there. Naturally the BAF officer refused and then the Pirate shoot them within the NFZ of the Freeport.. after the fight carried to outside the NFZ i Engaged with help of of Betaone and another two BAF officers we where able to bring down the Pirate.

[color=#33CCFF]Shortly after wards, I was at that moment still in omega 3 system, I received a long-range distress call from tau-23 having trouble with a outcast battle ship. I headed for Leeds as I was in mid transit of the trade lane in Leeds to Stokes Mining Station, that I got the signal that the situation was resolved. So I headed back to planet Leeds finding in orbit the HMS-Razorspine with an full honor guard of BAF officers there to back it up. ( reported Incident at Cardiff) I was accused of lying and nearly framed as an traitor of Breton I have been insulted before but this is hilarious as it is clearly visible that I supported in the above case the BAF against the pirates.

See here

[color=#33CCFF]I don't know what causes, that an Outcast battleship gains a full BAF Honorarium that would make any diplomat blush in envy, as well as the backup the MNS-Razorspine received from the BAF. I let this events speak for themselves, because I have the feeling in the BAF something isn't quite right at the moment, or can they be all ordered to be moving against a company that is working this long time in Bretonia and that brings Bretonian employees to bread and credits, that pay taxes and fees like the company it self, like the IMG? Does the IMG not help against piracy in Bretonia with men and ships the BPA and the BAF? Is Bretonia dismantling itself or is it only the BAF, or is the BAF secretly trying a military coup against the parliament? I don't know, but having heard from a Freelancer friend that the day before yesterday GRN started a major offensive in Leeds that need to be put down by the BAF and KNF. Well if this isn't enough now the BAF gets mad on the IMG defending their property it has and is called every time a liar. If this behaviour continues, then there will be soon mass demonstrations by citizens, or worse civil war in Bretonia. Now comes my 100 billion credits question. Seriously Sirius, how many front-lines are enough for the BAF?
Only my concerns and 2 credits of a seriously p*beeb* recruit.
