Biography:

I was born on Planet Los Angeles, California as kid of a LPI Officer and Zoner, grew up in usual mid-class conditions and made an advanced school graduation. With an age of 20 I joined a local shipping company associated to the Interspace Commerce and passed courses for an advanced flight clearance for civilian and Borderworlds shipclasses. A 3 years study for marketing and logistics followed as well as a quick introduction into Copper and Silver mining as well as Helium extraction. Shortly after I was taken into a second class trade division of Interspace (age 23) and later Universal Shipping (age 25)

After a year of service there I quit my job due to several discrepancies and differences in my opinion with the local leader of the trade division I was part of (age 26).

Fortunately, due to my qualifications as trade captain and basic knowledge of mining, I quickly found a job at the Dublin BMM department and worked there for 1 1/2 year beforeseveral jobs were eliminated due to the problems and growing unefficiency caused by Mollys (age 27) so I was temporarily unemployed.

However, at the job center at the Freeport one in Omega 3, I discovered the IMG hiring trade and mining captains as well as defence pilots and I made my way over to Aaland shipyard to talk with the job coordiantor of the base, who directed me to this recruitment channel (age 28).

My qualifications as a trade captain as well as my basic knowledge of mining, my ability to work in a team and respect all my co-workers should make me a well fitting addition to the Independent Miners Guild.

Which are your personal reasons for joining the Guild ? Also, which IMG Department would you like to be part of ?
I want to be part of an independent cooperation with regulations, work conditions and best fair-treatment for and of their employees. Additionaly, I intend to join a cooperation offering fitting work-fields for me as well as a new challenge of a job. Also, I want to work and therefore support the independent companies, so they can keep up with the inter-house and purely profit orientated cooperations like the Interspace commerce or the BMM, who treat their workers like they were their slaves (maybe a tad better, but you get the point).

Biography: Hannier was born into a Zoner Family living out on the fringes of civilized space at Freeport 5. As he grew up he met all sorts of individuals and had dreams of making a living captaining his own ship. When he was 17 he mother died, his father having died when he was 6, and he was left with a rather large sum of money since his mother was actually born in a rather wealthy Liberty Family before decided to go Zoner. With the money he was able to buy a Hegemon off of a old independent miner who had decided to give up the life at the age of 58. The miner was kind enough to give Hannier a tip on a good iridium mining ground in the desolate system of Kansas and Hannier has made a living off of mining there a few other places he learned of in his travels. However, due to pirate attacks and the general lonesome feeling of independent mining he has decided to sign up for IMG.

Biography: Well, i grew up in colorado on planet Denver, Dad was a factory worker n' my mom was a Ground police officer. I worked with my pops' from about 16-18 , then it kinda started to feel boring and underpaid, so ah' got a loan out from the Good Chaps at IC and bought myself a Basalt Miner.

I started on mining the Silver fields in Colorado for a while. The money was ok, I was mainly paying off my loan with most of the cash I got from mining. Once I had paid the loan off in full I decided it was time to Leave the nest and look for that sweet spot all miners hope for. I travelled quite far and ended up in the Omega 7 system for a while. Doing small contracts with any haulers I could get to pay me, selling my self cheap as it were.

It was there that i got to know more about the IMG, what with having stayed there quite a bit from time to time. I upgraded my ship to a Dacite and got my self a nice reputation with the guild, working under their affilates division of miners, just helping out the others when and if I was Needed. Then I had a bad run in with a pirate which ended with me floating back to freid' in a pod. After Lengthy stay in the medical bay, I got myself to the bar and had a chat with some of the miners there, they said i should head up to the taus and get fitted out with some Better equipment. So after I got paid out the insurance money on my ship I bought a Mafic and headed up to the taus to get properly kitted out.

Which brings us to me in the recruitment office on Java station, after I helped one of your Hegemons fill up and we had a little talk i decided now was the time to become a fully fledged guildie.

Biography:

Akise Takanashi was born into the Takanashi family on Planet Kyushu. His father is the famous geologist, Kouta Takanashi, of New Tokyo University.

He was heavily influenced by his father who often took him out on expeditions to asteroid fields in New Tokyo in his mining ship. Often, he would lecture him on the different minerals and rocks collected from these fields. This information, although often branded as "boring" to most people his age then, was of great interest to him. He began to grow more and more fond of geology.

One of his father's gifts to him was a metal detector. It was a present given to his on his 16th birthday. He took great pride in cleaning and learning to operate it. Soon, he was out on his daily "hunting" sessions into the open fields of Kyushu. Picking up random rocks that showed on his metal detector and identifying their origin, age and other details.

After his graduation from New Tokyo University with the same degree as his father, one of geology, he pooled together his savings and bought a mining ship. He would use this ship to accompany his father on "expeditions" to nearby asteroid fields.

It was there that he learned more about mining. On the process of obtaining ore from asteroids and refining them. He grew interested in the process. It was attractive indeed, a chance to not only study the rock formations as he was so fond of, but also a chance to earn a pretty penny whilst doing it.

Originally, he worked at Samura, just like his father. But he soon saw that working there was more "profit" than "education". More often than not, he would examine rocks carefully, doing his own little experiments on them. However, a manager would soon come along and reprimand him for wasting time and demand that he get back to work instead of lazing around staring at stones.

Soon, he just about had enough. He decided it was best to do it solo, with nobody to harp on you. He set off, purchasing a mining ship and leaving his home planet in search of valuable minerals. He moved away from the usual asteroid fields and went deeper into the Borderworlds. And it was there, in Tau-23, that he stumbled onto the IMG, a group of Independent Miners, going where no mining corporation ever gone before, a group of free miners that dedicated themselves to not only mining, but the preservation of the mining fields.

Now he wishes to join them. A chance to do what he loves the most, a chance to earn money and a chance to further his studies in the field of geology.

An independent mining group dedicated to its employees, not the profit. Each miner is treated fairly, each miner is given the recognition he or she deserves.
An independent mining group with more guts than the corporations. A group who pushes the limits of mining. Mining in locations otherwise deemed too hostile or inhospitable.
An independent mining group that will enable me to do what I like, that allows me to go deeper into uncharted territory that corporations would restrict access to, that allows me to do my research without some bossy manager shouting at me to stop staring at the rocks and start mining.

What can you contribute while inside the Guild ?
My father is the famous geologist, Kouta Takanashi! I also have his talents. I have graduated from New Tokyo University with a degree in geology just like him. Naturally, that puts me as a worthy candidate for the research and development field. Also, I am a good miner...I think. I have worked with my father collecting minerals from various fields for study, so I should be able to handle myself in a mining ship.

Personal reasons? Firstly, the guild doesn't shout in my ear when I'm busy studying rocks. Secondly the guild allows me to travel into space normally restricted to corporations, and that's where the interesting ores are. Thirdly, I get to keep a larger profit than what Samura pays me. Although putting me as part of the Research department would make more sense. I prefer to mine my own rocks for my own research and earn some cash in the meantime. Therefore, I wish to be part of the Mining Department.

I don't have any really I was born in Liberty but I have travelled a lot so I am not typical Libertonian. I am citizen of Sirius.

Biography:
I was born on Planet LA in California but my family was really poor so I needed to move at the age of 16 to New York.
There I worked as docker many years- mostly maintenance of the docking automatic machines and stuff- I had nice collogues but we drunk a lot. I have experience of flying the lifters too- I took extra shifts at their department. I am good with flying any heavy hardware, never tried however small ships like fighters or any combat ships.
Then I found a nice lady- it was 2 years ago so it seems it is time for new beginning. I heard that your Guild Members work hard but also have enough money to sustain their Families. This is what I am aiming for. I am ready to wander away even in Taos or in Deep Omegas just to have calm and good place for me and her. So I took a loan and bought Startracker vessel second hand with leaking fuel pump- I will fix it and I am ready to depart.

I don't want to be so poor any more, I don't want to work 14 hour shifts and get not enough money to pay my rent. Le whoops, my character was supposed to be female at first, but I couldn't find a suitable picture so I switched him over to male. I thought I cleared out all the female - male stuff but seems I was wrong. I guess my character now believes he is his sister while he is drunk.

Biography:

Born on a remote planet, Adraas originally did not know of his talents. He left his home with a friend from liberty, on an old, barely spaceworthy ship en route to the Omega System to seek adventure. However, long before they could reach their destination, the ship was struck by a large asteroid, causing it to become severely disabled beyond their abilities to repair. They spent several days drifting dead in space during which time both their life support systems and rations came close to being exhausted, and there was still no response to their distress signal. It seemed like they would soon meet their deaths until their sensors picked up a small base not too far away. They had just enough power to make it there but as soon as they arrived they were taken prisoner by the Corsairs. The Space station served as there base of operation.

They did not like the intruders so they locked them up behind Energy Field Cages. But Little they knew of the Skills of Adrass, who spent most of his life repairing Shield generators for Ships. The Energy Field Generator of the cages were not the most advanced. so by using by generating a electromagnetic wave signal that passed their barrier Fields, Adrass sliced the system and turned off the barriers.

Adrass and his Friends ran out of the prison hold and tried to make a run for the Hangar. There were not many Corsairs around, possible they were out scouting the area for Hostile activities. They Knocked a few Corsairs out from behind and Finally reached the Hangar. Adrass and his Friend ran into a small ship nearby and Took off.

The Security Sensors were by that time aware of the Adrass Activities and the Automatic Turrets of the space station started firing at them. Adrass surprised the Corsairs and his Friend aswell because none of the Turrets Fire hit them. He was a Engineer but he used to test drives of the ships he repaired and took up a few Tricks.

They Found a Jump hole near and activated cruisers to make a run for it but the Corsairs were behind them.There was no escape unless they make the jump. The Jump hole glittered as if going out of phase. Adrass boosted his cruisers power to 100%. The Corsairs Ships took their Guns out and they were all Warmed up and Ready to Fire. The Corsairs Fired there Guns but by that time Adrass made the Jump and the Jump Hole went out of Phase.

They arrived the Omgera 7 System and Adrass Decided to take up a Job for Freelancing. But his friend was so terrified because of the successive events that he gave up the life of Adventuring and Took a Ship back home.

After Sometime Adrass Found that Independent Mining Guild was recruiting people for there Paramilitary. So he applied for the Post immediately.

Even though my achievement is insignificatan but my skills as a Pilot and and Engineer could be put to good use in the Guild. Making up good dicisions and finding a way out of trouble is where my talents is. I would be obliged if I could help make mining a more safer profession by protecting the miners.

As I have pointed out before, I will like to protect the Miners from different dangers of mining and hope to help them discover new Materials for the development of science. I wish to join the paramilitary department.
