Mr. Mathew Haywood, thank you for your application. I am glad that a person with an education in mining sciences has not joined the big corporations but has chosen to give the Independant Miners Guild a try. I am sure you will be able to use the skill you have to the best of its potential with the freedom that made you assumedly join us. Welcome. Report to the nearest IMG base to get your papers.

[color=#FFFF00]Mr. Leonard Hages
, we indeed have a demand for fighting personel at the moment and as you have already stated, the demand is centered in the Omega 7 crisis. I will accept your application under one condition and you'd better think about it before taking the job: What you see in Omega 7 is an economic conflict of a very limited scale that will be over rather sooner than later. After that, IMG and Rheinland will be in that system again, perhaps not friends, but they will be able to exist in the same sector without violence. Now, I am coinvinced you can do the shooting part, if you also can promise me that you can deal with the peace part that comes after the conflict, I will accept your application. If you say you can't, I can still offer you to work in another region, e.g. Tau 23 where no Rheinlanders ever come, or Dublin. It's up to you, Sir, and I am waiting for your answer.

Mr. Broke, you have found the automated terminal for applications. We need a lot more information than the ones you provided. Have a look at the model applications that are saved in the terminal. I am curious from the list of ships that you call your own, but without a bit more information that tells me something about your person, your character, I cannot proceed yet.

Good day, Mister Degenhardt.

I promise you that I will be able to handle the peace that will - hopefully - come after the conflict. In fact, I'm not such a warmonger as my application may have depicted me as. Once the conflict is over, I will be happy to be repositioned to Dublin or the Taus.

Regards,
Leonard Hages

Greetings IMG,

Ive been a private hauler for a few years now between Liberty and Bretonia. I find myself under the constant threat of piracy all the time, and genrally unable to defend myself. Generally the feeling is i would need to join a company that can pay for my services and and protection when i provide them, or pay some dodgy freelancer who cant pilot but is willing to take my credits.

So here i am, applying for the IMG, which as far as i understand would be in need of me as much as i need them. hauling or mining (when i fit a hegemon) i can do either. Piloting a "crane" at the moment but im looking to upgrade to a "stork" in the very near future. Fitting a Ginship wouldnt be too much trouble, but i havent really piloted one.

As far as im aware the IMG does alot in Sirius? Mining, Hauling and providing their own escorts to ensure minimum losses.

Anyhow, i think ive covered all the bases as briefly as i can, let me know what ya think.

Greetings IMG!

My name is David Broke, 30 years old, born at Planet Manhattan I grew up at Manhattan and never left the planet until my 18th birthday. My father worked for the BMM and when I was 18 and had finished school, he took me with him to his work. He wanted me to start working for the BMM too, with him on the same Hegmon mining ship called Mr.Broke. He also had a retired BMM freight Train called the ReallyBroke that he bought from the company at a deep discount. It need some work and when I wasn't mining or sleeping or eating, I was working on the old girl. After multiple tries and a couple of months and almost a complete rewiring of the entire ship, she flies almost perfectly. After his retirement when I was 25, I became captain of the Mr.Broke. He ran his last run on the ReallyBroke a couple of months later and transferred ownership to me. Every now and then, he flies with me as the co-pilot and he enjoys it. I had, in time, renamed the mining ship the FindingBroke and got enough money around for the purchase of a smaller mining/escort ship, a Spatial, name of WorkingBroke. I use it as an escort and a miner for large convoys that frequent Dublin. There are some days that I just went out to clear my head and enjoy the ride.

I continued to work, but I realized that I didn't like it. The BMM was not very well organized and Dublin, where I worked, was a mess. I had learned to mine well, and I wanted to continue doing it, but I gave up the BMM. I looked for other factions and found the IMG. In many ways I liked it. I heard there were many people, and it was well organized. And because it wasn't a corporation, but rather a community, it sounded better too. So I decided to send in an application.

As far as I understand, the IMG is a community of people all working together and each other to create a profitable mining community. The purpose is to help each other and work together to make mining safer and more enjoyable.

I believe that I can help by mining, moving ores, and escorting movers. I have many years of experience in mining, moving ores, and escorting. I believe I'€™m not so bad at fighting either, at least according to the simulator. Furthermore, I will be good company too.

My reasons are to make a profit for myself and for the guild, and to help and protect when needed. I also like the company the IMG can offer, and I happen to love the shipline too and plan on a heavy fighter purchase if my application is approved.

I hope you will accept my application, so that I can be part of the community and help everyone.

Regards, David.

Subject: Application

To who it may concern,

Hello, Sir or Madam, my name is Richard Morgan and I am captain of an unaffiliated exploration vessel christened Darkstar. I had a tumultuous childhood growing up in the dark corridors of Freeport 9. However, growing up in a place so lawless and cramped created an insatiable drive to be amongst the the stars. My persistence eventually gave me a chance at a recently vacated spot on the Freeport's Combat Air Patrol. I flew CAP for FP9 for 4 years before turning my now honed skills in combat to freelancing. As a freelancer, I walked the law's tattered edge: fulfilling bounty contracts, running restricted artifacts for New London's elite and engaging in corporate espionage. It was only on account of a betrayal by BMM that the course of my life changed: I was used as bait against my will for a Kusari carrier group, BMM was trying fan the flames yet again. It was after my eagle was deemed a total loss, in the weeks spent in a hyperbaric chamber chamber for decompression sickness that I finally changed my ways. I applied to Cambridge University and was accepted. I earned a Master's Degree in Geology and a PHD in Astrophysics and upon graduating purchased a Spacial, hired a loyal crew and set off to find and work claims in the Omegas. 3 years later I have come to the conclusion that going it alone really doesn't cut it in Sirius in these troubled times.

The IMG:
From what I understand the principles of the IMG all stem from the idea that a man is entitled to the fruits of his own labor. The IMG has no shareholders to answer to, and the stakeholders consist of all the men and woman who have a hand in the guild's prosperity. The IMG exists as a self sustaining enterprise that provides modes of transport, security and information for the purpose of furthering the goals of its miners.

Role:
I would humbly offer my services as an experienced professional in both the resource location and information gathering fields. I know the systems on the edges of house space like that back of my hand, I have a loyal and experienced crew and a top notch ship (a credit to IMG engineering) at my disposal.

Reasons:
I think my reasons are obvious; I have a great deal of respect for your organization, I do not wish to go it alone any longer and I have a deep seeded hate of BMM and its affiliates.

Mr. Richard Morgan, many of us are here because BMM hurt them and I would like to say that I think you have made a good decision after what happened to you. The skills you bring sound interesting, especially information gathering and knowledge of corporations might prove handy. I also read that you hate BMM, which I can understand after reading your application. If you want to work in Bretonia (Dublin or Camebridge) or also Tau 23, I will have to insist that that hate stays confined to the degree that keeps shooting incidents and open hostilities between BMM and IMG from happening. If refraining from violence is a problem for you, you can still focus on the Omega 7 region, but I need to warn you that this is a war zone at the moment. I will accept your application, and trust in your professional ability to control your anger. Proceed to the next IMG base for your paperwork and further instruction.

[color=#33CC00]Mr. David Broke
, I see you used to work with the now dissolved T&M group and you are looking for a new direction in your professional life. After what I heard about the conflicts T&M got themselves in, I think that's a good decision. I am optimistic that the IMG can offer what you wish for in your application. The infrastructure that you call your own seems very useful and your CV makes me believe that you are a versatile person that can fulfill many different tasks that can contribute to our success. Proceed to the next IMG base for your paperwork and further instruction.

Mr. Jimmy Crawford, only too well we know the fate you describe in your application. The Guild strives to make your daily work safer by offering the Defence Wing, but also by not mining alone or organising convoys. I read reports about piracy and abuse every day and I like the consequence that you drew from your experience. The IMG can help you to aquire some mining equipment, if there is a need, just contact the IMG loan office when you do your paperwork at the next IMG base of your choice. The Guild helps those who want to work by giving them the means and the infrastructure to fulfill his professional wishes.

Thank you, Sirs, for your application. I am looking forward to seeing your reports of success.

Greetings IMG,

My name is Issaac Shadey i am currently a freelance miner. I've been mining in my little maffic the shadey for a couple of years watching corporations and factions from the sidelines. Recently after witnessing part of the omega7 war i decided i wanted to become more active in faction politics and seeing as my deals and contact with the IMG has always been great you are the logical choice.

I think the purpose of the IMG is to help the average miner do his job.

As stated above i can mine for the IMG using my maffic or my more recently aquired hegemon. Also while i currently don't have any combat training I'd like to get some and maybe get a gunboat and help defend the IMG.

Ehem...
So, greetings. My name is Nicholas Rush, pilot of the miners army.

I've been pressured... ehm, asked to apply for the IMG fleet.
After thinking about it for quiet a while I decided to do so.

But, let's get to what you want to know about me if I'm to join your fleet.
Who am I? I was born in Rheinland on Planet Hamburg on the 31st October 795. After finishing school and all that I looked for a job around there, but wasn't very lucky and started working as a Freelancer around Rheinland and Liberty for a while. Since I didn't like how the things around there went, I left the area and moved to the independent systems, where I encountered the IMG.
I started working for them for quiet a while and though I always thought about becoming a mercenary I even joined their army after some time. I liked being independent, but nowadays, after being around Freistandt Base for quiet some time now, I think the way I've chosen is the right one. Defending the Independent Space is something which is in my interest.
So, I might not be the best pilot, but well, I try to do my job as good as possible.

At the moment i own a Zephyr Capital Class Ship

You are doing a good job at keeping the Bretonia a bit more civilized and defending the houses against the Corsairs and other pirates who terrorize every day the miners who are working hard for their existence... I already fought at the side of some of your forces and I want to join you in your fight against those threats.
So, tell me if you are looking for another pilot to join your ranks.

I would like to do my part in the defense of your nation.
