As I was heading towards New London, I went on a short patrol through the system - and good that I did! As I arrived at the Cambridge Jump Gate, I found a Corsair Correo freighter class, callsign Zarraza, wreaking havoc, blowing up several troughcoming trade ships and kidnapping several pilots.

Needlessly to say, I ordered the Corsair to drop the poor citizens instantly, but my request was just met with a salvo of plasma fire:

Thus, I saw no other way than engaging that barbarian criminal - after some time, I managed to disable his ship:

Back on New London, I set the shocked, but luckily not severely harmed officers and citizen free.

Hope the evening will be a bit more quiet...

Joshua Cooper, out.

Today was yet another interesting day. Upon launching I patrolled around New London for a while until I encounted a molly by the name of Dom.Dangerfeild. We conversed for a while over the subject of his being in New London and the three civilian pilots in his hold. Our chat got quite heated towards then end finally extinguishing its self with the word "no" from him and a salvo of fire destroying my ship. Thankfully I was picked up by a passing convoy.

Greetings everyone,

Today...We found the Chief Constables to be engaged in acts definitely not befitting of their positions. We assembled, the Chief Constables, Commodores from the BAF, and Constable Savins, in New London orbit. The men didn't believe my accusations, and even called me a criminal. The treasonous snakes devoted themselves to running from the law.

The BAF pursued the men through Dublin. Constable Brown, in the Carapace, even attempted to destroy the HMS-Grafton. He was foiled, and they fled further. The fools now lay in Omega-49. Let the Corsairs have them.

Hello? Damnit. Blasted answering service.

Well, Greene, I imagine this will be the last time I communicate to the Yard on this channel. I'm sure you'll have my credentials revoked or somesuch trickery.

I don't know whose pocket you are in, you po-faced fart. But I'm pretty sure that this stink goes all the way to the top. I'm sick of watching my beloved country getting rail-roaded into a pointless and bloody war. I'm sick of watching the money-grubbing corporations profit from a war which those corrupt bastards in the Admiralty have used to extend their own particualr brand of justice and tyranny in our country.

Well, for the record, let it be known that I refused to arrest fellow police officers without a warrant. You had the word of the Home Secretary, but when this copper last checked, there were principles of natural law that are inalienable in Bretonia. A fine show you made of yourself, unleashing those military thugs on civilised men. You're a disgrace to the uniform!

I'll get you yet, you mothe**********************ERROR***************AUTHORISATION WITHDRAWN***********************************************

Today was quite uneventful. A few smugglers, sure, but nothing that we couldn't set straight. First order of business was to take a nice round. There were reports of Corsairs in London, but, nothing really to speak of. All was pretty quiet.

I went to Leeds to check on the blockade. I saw the HMS-Isaak Brock unmoor from Leeds. Quite the sight, the might of our House. Surprising, the state it is in, really. I stopped a Zoner with Deuterium. I asked him where it was going. He said Falklands. Couldn't stop him, so, off he went. Another independent trader tried to take Super Alloys to the Kusari. He listened right and quick and left for Rheinland.

Talk of Nomads about. Went to Edinburgh, where they supposedly were, and nothing. Went back to Leeds. Nothing. Stopped for the night on Leeds.

Good evening. My patrol tonight was exciting, though not as exciting as it could have been.

I started off in New London, where it was fairly quiet. I had a nice conversation with a Bounty Hunter who was looking to get out of the Guild and go Freelance. I wished him luck, gave him a few tips, and reminded him not to end up on the wrong side of the law if he does.

Long-Range sensors indicated numerous vessels in Leeds. I jumped through to investigate. Upon arriving at the planet, I found it empty except for one Mercenary, flying BAF colors and piloting a Bretonia Gunboat. Seemed like a nice chap. There was a small Kusari attack, but the Derby and the Mercenary made short work of what I can only assume was a scouting party. Bloody Kusari.

I headed back to New London and on through to Cambridge. I exited the Trade Lane near the Planet and immediately picked up hostile contacts. Two Corsairs! Named Ghost-Ship-"S.Spiegel" and Malism-CB .
My recording device picked up their signatures, though I was only able to scan one of them. Recordings:

As I was in a Paladin, and they were in a Cruiser and what appeared, to my eyes, to be some sort of Battleship, though I didn't get to Scan the "Ghost-Ship", I quickly took the Trade Lane to the Norfolk. I attempted to reach the BAF, but all available forces were bravely fighting on the Kusari front according to the commander of the Norfolk. So I monitored the situation, and engaged in some banter:

http://i396.photobucket.com/albums/pp42/LP...amb_Banter2.jpg

I also made periodic warnings of their continued presence. They were certainly afraid to show themselves at the Norfolk, and eventually I docked with the Norfolk for the night. I only hope they left peacefully.

Good day gentlemen,

Today's patrol was quite successful. I first met a Daumann shipper by the callsign of JadeR. He was carrying Deuterium in orbit of Planet Leeds. When questioned, he said he was taking the goods to Falkland. I'm not sure the exact location, but that sounds like it is in the Taus. I informed the shipper that only IMG and Zoner vessels were allowed to ship Deuterium into the Taus and he thanked me for the information and set the goods down on Planet Leeds.

After this, a Molly skirted the edge of the West Leeds Smog Field. A BAF came to the Planet and took control of the blockade. I encountered the Molly about 35k down the lane, and I spoke with him for a great while. A Corsair skirted my sensors, but, being already occupied with the Molly, I didn't think much of it. No further reports about the Corsair came in. In the end, I only fined the Pato,Dooley[Molly] for use of a Cargo scanner and collected 50 credits.

Leeds then emptied, and I returned to New London. There I found a Deuterium trader callsigned Absolom. I escorted him through the Gauntlet to supply the Battleship Derby, which, frankly, gave me shivers. Thankfully, there were no Kusari patrols.

After this, I set my Hussar down at Leeds for a rest.

Junior Constable James Twist barged into his own flat and threw his helmet off, sweaty from being shoved into that damned Hussar. He showered and walked out in his evening robes, flicking up the screen on his personal laptop and typing up his report for the day...

This is Junior Constable James Twist reporting for my first patrol with Commissioner Aiden Greene.

Our first couple of minutes went smoothly, as we stopped a Freelancer in a Mammoth transport from going through the Tradelane to Stokes. Seems this bloke was a little lopsided. First he didn't know where Edinburgh was, then didn't understand why we wanted him to go down the lane. Even though Mr. Greene gave him clear instructions, he always wanted to go somewhere else. Fishy wouldn't even describe the vibe I got from this one, but unfortunately it was cut short as we received intelligence regarding a possible Corsair in Cambridge!

Flying as fast as our Hussars could take us, we jumped first to New London, then swiftly again to Cambridge whereupon we scanned the system, hooking up with the Battleship Norfolk. All seemed quiet and serene until finally the wretched man showed his face, one Carson Hawking of the Brotherhood. When Mr. Greene told him that he wouldn't be harming civilians this day, low and behold he already had kidnapped some civilians and were holding them in his cargo hold!

Haberdashery of the highest caliber! Or so Mr. Greene exclaimed. Throwing the crumpets back and forth for a while revealed that this Corsair is a somewhat more docile than what usually fits the profile. Nevertheless, we were steadfast in our obligation to protect those civilians, which meant not provoking him. For several minutes we tried to find a way to breach his rhetorical defenses and negotiate the release of the people. Finally, a solution showed itself as a TAZ vessel by the name of the Ambassador's Ark dropped out of the tradelane. We implored the vessel to help, and even though Mr. Holiday (the owner, we are told) was not on board, his second in command agreed to help us sort out this mess. In amazing grace, the TAZ vessel negotiated with the Corsair and managed to free the civilians without much ado.

Special thanks is in order to the TAZ vessel Ambassador's Ark, without whom we wouldn't have managed to free the civilians as swiftly. I have recently received a note of thank you from a little girl who's father was among the five people rescued. Today the Zoners made a very big difference in the life of a small child who will forever remember this day. The BPA solutes you, Ambassador's Ark. And Mr. Holiday.

James Twist reviewed his report before finally sending it to the central Police Authority data banks to be reviewed by the higher-ups. Shuffling a bit of his special tobacco into his curvey pipe, he lounged back on his plushy chair in new flat on the bright and sunny Planet Cambridge. Large puffs of sky blue smoked billowed out of his pipe as his cat, Watson jumped into his lap.

I am typing this message from Leeds General, as my Hussar crashed somewhere near the northern pole of the planet.

As soon as I was conscious, I asked for a data pad to send this message to New Scotland Yard, sorry about the tardiness of my report.

The first bit of business concerns my cat, Watson in my new flat on Planet Cambridge. I would like to request whomever is in system to drop by and feed him, as he is probably very hungry after two days.

Secondly, the reason for my request of a new Hussar and admittance to this medical facility: a high-powered Hogosha agent jumped me above Planet Leeds. His Roc mkII severely damaged my ship's environmental controls and engine systems, luckily his supernova missed. Amazingly, the cockpit recorder survived and I've prepared these images of the agent.

For Bretonia!

It is my pleasure to announce that Junior Constable James Twist has passed all of the prerequisites and tests befitting of an AFO certified constable. As such, a promotion is in order. Henceforth, Junior Constable James Twist will be referred to as Constable James Twist. We must all, remember, though, that the authority to hold lethal weapons comes with a great responsibility to use them sparingly. Unlike those that we held dear in the past, I hope that we can trust Constable Twist more than these unspeakable persons.
