AFTER-ACTION REPORT

MESSAGE COMMENCING......

At 1830 hours today, myself and Jonathan "Death Adder" Jones went on a routine patrol near the New York Jumpgate. Shortly thereafter, a Samuran convoy entered our range and was told to halt. Unfortunately, an armored transport was escorting them and engaged us while I was opening up my comms. My shields disappeared and I engaged him immediately. We exchanged fire for a moment and then he ran, jumping to New York to join his comrades.
Shortly thereafter, another Samura Transport came into our sights and was stopped. He complied readily and after much conversation, we found out he was carrying a load of engine components to them DSE boys. Due in no small part to his attitude and willingness to let us take care of business, we let him drop only half his cargo and continue on his merry way. (// He was also given 1 million credits by me to soften his loss for his outstanding RP).
We then headed to the New York Jumphole and ran into a Rheinland VHF who was carrying 3 of our pilots. He dropped them immediately and was allowed to leave with the promise not to harass any more of our ships.
We then returned to Ouray for refueling and fresh armaments.

*Unfortunately, my GUNCAM was damaged in the first attack with the Armored Transport, as was my comms log, so no footage was recovered to present to you.
That is all.

My first day in Xeno Alliance duty:

''I'm happy I can see you miss Rodriguez. Welcome at Ouray."
"Thanks a lot. Initializing landing status"
"Roger that"

I met there my new friends XA-Lancerhead and XA-Gopher. They helped me to get my new ship and equipment. When I had everything what I needed Lancerhead take me at small trip to New York. We found one far Rheinland trader. He tried to escape but we destroyed him.

My first kill

and

not last

After that we have small celebration with lot of whiskey.

Rheinland whiskey isn't bad

David Chambers chortled all the way to the infirmary. He hadn't ejected to much as drifted slightly faster than the disintigrating ruin of his ship. The Waran bomber had sustained hours of transport barrages, Outcast snub fire, gunboat blasts and the harsh environment of the Barrier Nebula. When her structure finally succumbed under the fire of the pair of BH fighters and Orca gunboat striving to end the life of her pilot it had beyond exploded, the engines had somehow ripped themselves free of the superstructure and taken her powercore with it.

Sitting atop half of a ship, he had opted to pull the ejection lever and see what would come of it.

Nothing had.

He felt invulnerable, there were too many scratches on the dash of the bird for this to be the day he died. So he had kicked the cockpit canopy and... Simply thrust himself away from the ruin of his ship. In their frenzy the hunters had rent the vessel asunder, returning in the wake of its final shudder to turn upon his short lived compatriot, Caleb Swift. As he simply floated away.

Which presented its own challenges in retrospect.

He was retrieved by a passing Zoner, some young thing that would doubtless spend the next several months singing a song of heroics for plucking a drifting pilot from the vasts. Oh but danged if it hadn't been a good day.

Pity about all of the exposure.

He crinkled his eyes behind the breathing mask and held his pad before his eyes. The painkillers would doubtless add to a colorful report. At least one that he wouldn't avoid filing because it ended in a really really pathetic beating at the hand of a BS Razor.

I landed myself in the Hornet's nest. My Civilian Bomber is more a theory than a fact, following the brutal clipping I received in Colorado, fighting a Liberty Assault Cattle Bruiser. Not wishing to disturb the cobwebs on my Eagle I opted to take my fat cow of a Waran out for a spin.

The recent upswing in human trafficking that I observed during my last foray in Pennsylvania prompted my decision to explore further up the river. What I encountered in Cortez surpassed my wildest expectations. I was swept into a near constant running battle which took me from the Coronado hole in Cortez to the California system. At every turn I encountered another batch of Outcasts or Slavers attempting to haul the next dump of Cardamine into Liberty space.

Every vessel that I allowed to pass would return bearing a cargo of human flesh. This is something I could not abide. I attacked mercilessly.

I was met with light resistance at first, beyond the desperate impotent pings of the transports themselves, their feeble cries of morality and justice echoing like laughter through my cockpit, an complimentary symphony to match the crackle as my shields brushed aside the spreading clouds of orange debris that marked their passing.

My works garnered swift attention however.

I was swept into a fierce bidding war with a mercenary by the name of Ander Black and a pair of slavers, Eclipse and Gravy. I was somewhat desperate to outbid them, as my chances of downing both heavily armored trains with his Talon firing on my cumbersome Waran were very slim.

I was able to seize the upper hand in the bidding war, and while the Merc was slim help for the price I paid, at least he was not a hindrance.

Within California my position was probed by many, yet remained undiscovered as I strove to maintain a temporary stranglehold on the day's flow. The worst assault came in the form of a Salvager, Pirate Transport and Outcast Bomber. All were eventually destroyed however, though left my vessel much the worse for wear... Allowing an overconfidant Corsair gunboat to assume an upperhand in jumping my lone bomber.

Swift of the XG replied in swi... Er, rapid order however and I was able to lead the gunboat to him, between the two of us it was eventually downed.

We were then beset by an Orca gunboat, pair of BH fighters and another Salvager. The Salvager was destroyed and the Orca severely damaged before my fat cow decided to take on a shade of looks a tad closer to that of roadkill.

Still. Fair enough day for the loss of a single bomber I dare say.

Mojave, Adder, good show both of you in Colorado. While I consider allowing the passage of the Samura transport to be somewhat... Unconventional, I shant begrudge your judgement in the matter. While we need more Navy birds in the air like we need holes in the head, we need 'em down in Rheinland to keep up the war.

Viper! Now there's a name I haven't heard for a while. I hope you wear it as well as Glenn did. Congrats on your promotion Ms. Rodriguez. It was well earned, despite a number of hiccups on your end. Hopefully recent incidents have rolled some of the bubbles out of your conduct, though I'm somewhat charmed by your "see what you can get away with attitude".

Just remember that pushing my patience can result in your being pushed out an airlock.

Few of our pilots score such a substantial kill so early in their careers. My commendation to you. Wear your new callsign well and it will serve you as well as it did its former holder.

John. Die in a fire.

** Logging Out **
"Docking bay cleared, proceed." volumed out into the Startracker floating around out in the dark cloud.

A newfound confidence could be seen on Didacus Jules as he successfully landed the ship. With slightly shaky legs he managed to stand up, and with almost uncanny precision he managed to hit his head on the roof of the cockpit.

"Son of a.." could be heard throughout the small craft.

It is a great honor to have been given this chance.

Things move forward now, and I admit it is alot to take in. Upon grabbing the controls of that ship, a certain.. uneasiness crept up in my mind.

Nevertheless, I set out into the dark cloud. Hours went by, as I got to know the beast of a ship that people call the "Startracker".
It is a fine ship, and I am thankfull to have gotten the chance to fly it.

Lot of things happend from my last post. First of all I got promotion. Now I'm Juvenile Amy "Viper" Rodriguez. Some fights as usual. Well I will continue to what happends today.

I saw fight at Norfolk

Police versus Hackers

Well I don't like them both but Hackers more. I don't trust them. You can say me I'm xenophobic *chuckles*

So I helped them with that Hacker guys and I nearly shot down on them. When I got shoot to my back so I was out of game.

But DesertMojave contacted me if I want to join his wing to control lanes heading to Kusari. I was forced to leave sweet New York so I joined him in Colorado.

We found some DSE guy taking oxygen to Pueblo so I escorted him there and he donated Xenos with 500 000! Maybe we have new friends in Liberty Corps

Then I met some dumb caring 15 who refused to stop and drop them. Well after my 5th request to stop I shot him down.

And at the end we met some trader full loaded of Neon heading somewhere in Kusari. So we said him to drop it. And HE DO IT! No fight ladies and gents I was really suprised.

I'm going to back to work

PS: I need to repair my guncam

Well, it's been a nice 8 hour initation, I am now ready to fully begin the role of a Xeno. I will be supplying a few more million to grab a bomber out of the base, but I might need the armory to equip the rest of my guns, cash is short for me, especially now.

Here's what the 8 hours has been like:

MESSAGE COMMENCING......

At 1800 hours today, I formed into an interception squad with Jonathan "Death Adder" Jones and new boot Didacus Jules to see what we could find around the NY Jumpgate. Not long after, a Firefly Transport with the callsign "Topper" appeared on our scopes, laden with 3285 cargo units of neon. He halted at our request, and was promptly ordered to drop his cargo. He saw the error of his ways and jettisoned it into space. I proceed to destroy it immediately, and he was allowed to continue unharmed.

GUNCAM FOOTAGE FOLLOWS:

A short time later, another Firefly came into scanning range, also heavy with Neon. (Having not had any Moonshine before flying, I was wondering if I was seeing correctly). He was halted as well, and we opened up communications. It seems as though he was headed to Denver, not out of Liberty Space, so we were kind enough to escort him there safely.

COMMS LOG FOLLOWS:

He docked on Denver and sold his cargo, returning to Planet Denver airspace so that we could verify an empty hold. Seeing as he was a true supporter of In-House Liberty trade, I e-transferred some credits to his account. He then departed, unharmed.

We then returned to Ouray for debriefing and ship restock. I must commend the abilities of Didacus Jules, a fine pilot he is, and an excellent addition he will make to our ranks.

Mojave out.

It is with great sadness, that I bring you this report. While operating in California, Stiletto and I came across a Slaver by the callsign of {SU}Kharashrak. Stiletto valiantly pursued this Slaver, and among the rocks in the fields of Cortez the unthinkable happened. The Slaver dropped every single slave into the field and opened his guns on them.

Truly this is a sad day, for we mourn the loss of many. Our scans indicated as many as 3700 slaves, before they were mercilessly gunned down. As a desperate act, Stiletto took off a final shot which took down Kharashrak's ship.

I will personally light a candle for these people, whose lives are now lost.

Well the past 8 hours of flight time have been full of fire and death. But rather interesting. I do quite like this little light fighter...but it doesnt pack the punch needed to stop them big freighters that are flyin around. I put the request of advancement forward with this here proof of my flight time.
