Santa Elena Depot is a 'Montevideo'-class Modular Installation operated by the Maltese Department of Commerce to act as an orbital storage platform for Republic Armed Forces vessels as well as prominently freighters that supply the Maltese colony at Lipari Island. Currently under construction, the station is currently acting as a draw for most of the Republic's manpower and resources, and upon its completion is expected to double as the Armed Forces' primary anchorage.

OPERATIONS

Santa Elena Depot currently serves as a way station for Republic vessels within the Tau-44 system, and as a Republic-owned and operated storage unit for supplies to rearm and refuel Armed Forces vessels in the field. Primary operations for Lipari Island take precedence, however, and as such the station is expected to serve as a cardamine and life essentials storage facility until efforts on the surface are capable of containing such numbers themselves.

For future operations, the station is expected to slowly retool the storage space aboard into refugee centers, acting as a de-facto processing locale for individuals seeking citizenship on Lipari Island as well as pseudo-hospitals for refugees fleeing atrocities and disasters across Sirius.
Santa Elena is expected to become a primary installation for the Republic, and a permanent part of the Borneo orbital environment.

SUPPLY

Santa Elena is currently operating at 16% capacity, and is currently under construction. Currently, the station is running on a whitelist mode, and only authorized suppliers will be allowed access to the station. Suppliers are in open demand, and any enterprising captains, groups or corporations are welcomed to supply the station with whatever it requires in the form of commodities.
