Beginning with this channel, the Maltese government will be updating the legislature when the need arises, and will be applying links to new documentation where applicable.
We implore the populace of Sirius to keep aware of changes to Maltese legal documentation, and inquire to the Maltese government any questions or concerns that may arise.

The Republic of Malta, in an effort to continually provide up-to-date information regarding the Nation's relations, has recently provided for display the accounting of most, but not all, individuals and groups considered by the Republic to be criminals. These may be due to political lashbacks by the Republic against dissidents, terrorists acting on their own agenda, or simply pirates threatening shipping by the Republic or other friendly or neutral entities within Maltese home, border and extended zone systems.
Please keep notice of this board to ensure safe traversal of Maltese space, and to provide proposals for the board should new criminal suspects arise.
Republic database directory links should be updated soon if they aren't already. We implore citizens and civilians to be mindful of those they meet within Maltese space, and act should they feel they are in danger.
The Republic today has issued an update to the Maltese Codex of Interstellar Laws, as well as a graphical update to the Foreign Asset Registry.
As of today, following the end of the Gallic war declared over two months ago, the Republic of Malta is proud to announce that §1-1-1, §1-3-1, §1-3-3, §3-1-2, §3-3-2, and §4-4-2 have been amended to regard the Gallic Navy in place of the now defunct Gallic Council. In addition to this, §1-3-1, §1-5, §3-1, and §3-3-4 have been amended to replace the formerly known Gallic Royal factions under the banner of the continually banned Gallic Royal Enclave. This also extends to Gallic corporations IDF Shipping, EFL Oil & Machinery, and the Gallic Metal Service, who are all re-granted their access to Maltese border space.
As well as this, all embargoes have been lifted, including defunct ones, to allow for free trade to pass through the Taus and Gallia undisturbed once more by Republic law enforcers.

The Maltese Codex of Interstellar Law
§2-1-1 has been amended to exempt vessels of the GC| from Cardamine cargo restrictions. All ships bearing the GC| moniker are free from regulation, though will remain monitored.
The Confederalization of the Gallic Minor States has been verified by the Republic's Diplomatic Corps, and the law will now reflect the changes in name displays. The Confederal Gallic Defense Forces and Gendarmerie have replaced any mention of the 'Gallic Navy' and 'Gallic Police' respectively. The acknowledged Office of Confederal Intelligence shall remain broadly listed under the title of 'foreign intelligence agencies'.
Other minor grammatical errors were seen to.
The Maltese Restricted Goods Exemption Board
This board is being provided to allow transport captains and foreign corporations the opportunity to exempt themselves or their members from legal action from hauling commodities restricted as part of §2-1 of the Maltese Codex. Further information can be found within the board page itself, which may now be accessed through the Republic's Quick-Find Taskbar, as well as a link within the Codex Forms themselves.

The Maltese Codex of Interstellar Law
[§0-1-1] - Following the loss of contact with the systems of Aragon and Biscay, the systems in question have been removed from Maltese definitions of 'Maltese House Space'.
[§0-1-2] - Following the loss of contact with the system of Tau-117, also known as Drake, the system in question has been removed from Maltese definitions of 'Maltese border space'.
[§0-1-3] - Following the loss of contact with the system of Omicron Sigma, and the discovery of the systems of Omicrons Zeta and Nu, the systems in question have been removed and added respectively to Maltese definitions of 'The Edge Nebula'.
[§4-1] - Following the changes listed in §0-1-1, Biscay and Aragon are no longer recognized as Maltese House Space, and have been removed from the listed systems of Classes A and B respectively. Lorraine has been removed from the definition of Class C systems in light of Gallic claims to the system in question.
[§5-1] - Following Kusari mobilizations on allied positions, the Reformed Empire of Kusari has been reaffirmed as hostile to Maltese interests. Amendment 5-1 has been fully nullified, and with it all the changes it brought.
Following the latest session of the Congregation, the state of Martial Law is hereby formally lifted.
All civilian traffic will remain monitored for the foreseeable future to ensure a smooth transition to standard operations. Government positions are once more open to public application.

By a vote of 15-1, Resolution 15 has been passed, authorizing the Department of Defense to allocate appropriate funding to ongoing operations conducted by the Armed Forces of the Republic of Malta.

By a vote of 7-9, Resolution 17 has failed to pass. This resolution would have changed the official name of the nation to 'The Republic of Malacca'.

Following a national referendum within controlled territories, the administration has officially suspended further amendments to the Constitution of the Republic. A new document will be drafted, the completion of which will be announced via this channel.
Until such a time that the current Constitution of the Republic is deemed invalidated, the nation will continue to operate in static. Concerns should be directed towards the public relations board for the Department of State.

By a vote of 16-0, Resolution 19 has been passed authorizing the ratification of a new constitution for the nation, and invalidating the prior documentation.
