Nomad Superior Veil
Recently re-opened studies from high ranking Order scientists have shown that the Veils around the Nomad ships act as shields, protecting them from incoming gun and projectile fire alike. The Nomad ships can create lattices of semi-sentient micro-organisms around their ships at their own discretion which will take the damage otherwise inflicted on the Nomad ship. This version of the Nomad Veil is found only on very large Nomad specimens. Using a massive swarm of protective micro-organisms, the Superior veil can take a huge amount of firepower.
