I heared about the Daam K'vosh having something to do with it. That's why we didn't even bother asking. Since the Concensus and the old Harvesters have this inside their lore too.
Harvesters were against the nomads yes
however this faction is not the Harvesters.
Not all AI factions are anti-nomad people, most don't even care about them
Right, hmm... Well then we'll have to talk with K'Hara about this then I guess. Thanks for the replies! : )
Please, I'm not saying dont do it, but i would suggest you to go for a core faction, to give mu and 100 a purpose, or zeta in general. AI's are rather "closed" from what I can gather, as in, the amount of things you can do is limited compared to the core, who for alot of instances can pick sides, and I'm no saint but im pretty sure AI's are only friendly with themselves, so if friendship is enough for you then go for it.
Actually, no it isn't realy limited. The ID allows you to engage others (except AIs) without any problem only thing is you can't engage Transports and you can't engage in a System with a Jumpgate included. Simple thing you do is locate the systems which don't have Jumpgates (which we're currently doing) and than act along the rules. Trust me Mu and 100 will get a purpose with this. The ID doesn't limit you to enter 100 or Mu or Rho or whatever system THE ONLY thing you have to consider is, you'll get enemies with all of them. You may not be allowed to enter Omicron Mu cause Order doesn't allow you, but if you enter you'll get enemies nothing prevents you from making enemies. Since the Sovereign has a hatred towards "Organics" , there is no problem in getting enemies with them. This doesn't mean the Sovereign is FULLY closed and only focused in destroying, No. We've mentioned the Sovereign are trying to build an AI Nation of some kind, fully under Artificial Intelligence control a "Sovereign Nation". Sovereign from the Humans, Sovereign and Free. Untill now we always opened new Human factions always the same thing, but the point is there are still factions that are inactive. I think we realy should focus on bringing some new and weird and interesting ideas into Discovery. This "Sovereign" faction for me it looks more like a new Alien race. Nomads and Sovereign, I'm realy sure it'll be a hell lot of fun and very interesting, even its RP. Like I mentioned we're not fully on ALL-KILL mode, if a player RPs realy well Sovereign can turn out into a realy nice RPing faction. We've even made our own RP, its realy fun and some people are interested. Currently we have around 8 - 9 members and more are asking. Because its something new, for once there should be something different, until now we've always opened "Human" factions. But then I saw the AI and was like "Dude wtf why is nobody playing on that faction, its realy awesome it has POTENTIAL". Let's see how it'll turn out. I think you people realy should give the AI's a chance to prove that its worth playing as an AI.
I was specifcly talking about "taking sides" - toasters have intelligence but intelligence doesn't adhere emotions, feelings of revenge, pleasure, or any of that sort. So it might be indeed logical for a toaster to ally a human entity, but the amount of trust, of the human person can never be close to that of another human being. In other words, the human party can never trust someone who only follows things by logic, it would be logical one day, perhaps two days later to kill your allies, because its logical via a.b.c.d. Its a tough concept to get over. This is why I have said that friendship is really the best thing you can hope for ( cuz friends do nasty things sometimes ) However, dont take this the wrong way, If you want to do it, do it ; and I'll be happy to meet you toasters in space at any given time, Im just telling you one of the complications of the proccess

I had nothing against your idea Just pointed out my thoughts thanks for your reply and I look forward to meet you in space too you better not call us "Toasters" , it would be just a waste of your RP to try to negotiate or trying to be in a good relation with us. And yeah well, you can try to be friends with Sovereign, it's a realy hard RP. If you manage to come to us with that logical and trustworthy Roleplay... Well it's hard You realy need to be logical and it realy must satisfy our needs. We had one Junker that actually managed to do that, we RPed realy, REALY long until we decided to leave him alone and maybe even remember him. Also we mentioned that we actively hunt combatants, means actually civilians have a way more chance to be friends with the Sovereign, simple as that: "Amuse us and we might reconsider your death". We also have people amongst us (well actually 1 - 2) which RP a more neutral - unfriendly way, would be that you'd act neutral - unfriendly to actually confuse others, which is realy hard to obtain, cause the Sovereign Lore is a lil against it, but if you come up with logic reasons and if it fits inside the lore without causing trouble, it can be done, but I myself wouldn't even consider ).
What im trying to say is, humans can be unpredictable, but robots cannot ( they can, but it will be visible for anyone to see ). So its seems more reasonable for humans to exploit you, because humans are plenty and robots aren't. Which is why I have said, any human faction that claims to be your "friend" will not stay like that forever and live long enough, they will double cross you - that's what humans eventully tend to do, one way or another. You on the other hand, will be happy with whoever holds on to your logical standards. Don't trust humans, Thats really what im trying to tell you. But hey, its no reason to go open season on them. Something small, perhaps local, a trade agreement can work just fine, there are no obligations and no "real-complications". Alliance on the other hand.. you know the rest.
Slight edit : Also, since you are not qualified as a robot, and even though humans kill humans, they -in general will kill you if you attempt to be bigger than they are. Its only when humans face danger that they really join with each other and work together, ya know, like the vanilla story on the nommies
I think its still quite funny how people "know" how robots will act in 1000 years. This is not matrix and this is not hal3000. it is still science fiction and just as a notify the options for an artificial intelligence are endless. just imagine that there are feelings outthere that a human is not able to feel. we are not the primus or the scale for all that. we just grow up with that idea or just hope/wish that, same mind like "earth is the center of the universe"
