As per Lord Oakington's message, I have been given command over the H.M.S - Norfolk which is where I currently am. I wish to inform you that the crew are currently undergoing emergency drills and combat training and stand ready to serve. I would ask if you have any instructions or standing orders that you need me to carry out.

Mr Steiner,
You will always be a fleet admiral for me, but I have not been informed of your current rank. Please inform me. Please also forward me Admiral O'Brian's message, because it has not been conveyed to me.

Commodore Steiner,
I have just had the transfer of command documentation produced and signed. The Norfolk and her fleet are yours to command. The Norfolk's duty is to patrol Cambridge, Poole and Omega-3, and occasionally send small raiding parties into Omega-48 to keep the Coalition on their toes. At the moment there are three commodores in my oversector, including myself, and I think it improper that I should issue orders to all, especially to you. One of us should be made an admiral. You have more experience than me, you used to be overall commander in chief of the BAF, and your origin is more noble and pure. I may be Commander in Chief of Oversector South on paper, but know what I will advise with you first on all matters, Fleet Admiral Steiner.
