If you take a quick look at Samuel you will naturally assume he is just another "Average Joe". Which by all means is a rather fair assumption. Samuel's parents are alive and have never been terrorized by any sorts of criminals. His childhood was what we define as "normal" - No real problems with the grades and his social life was adequate. Like the majority of the people of his age, he enlisted himself to the Liberty Navy. Studied at West Point Military Academy and received his degree after the designated years. After evaluation he was considered a person who completes his side of the job but didn't really excel in any aspect.
How ironical is it not?
That an individual who seems so perfectly normal in every way is actually the most strangest "creature" you have ever encountered.
As Samuel progressed through the ranks of the Navy, his devotion towards Liberty coupled with a burning passion to defend everything it represented became increasingly more evident. People around him began joking that Samuel was more zealous than the Rheinland Chancellor himself. Of course Samuel took great offence to this since anyone who was considered an enemy of Liberty, would be despised by Samuel with such intense hatred that he sometimes couldn't control himself from bursting into an almost inhuman ferocity.
Make no mistake! Samuel is no soldier of the Navy. He does not do it for pay, he does not do it for the sake of duty, he does it out of pure devotion.
He is a fanatic.
"Devotion? You don't even know what devotion means until you are willing to sacrifice yourself,
In the name of Liberty.
Sacrifice? You don't even know what sacrifice means until you are willing to destroy all that you love,
In the name of Liberty.
Liberty? You don't even know what Liberty means until you are willing to eradicate Liberty itself,
In the name of Liberty."

I observe, I observe and I observe.
I watch them all, I track them all, I note them all. Every single Liberty Navy member who I encounter, I analyse and draw conclusions.
Does their heart truly belong to Liberty?
Does their body truly belong to Liberty?
Does their soul truly belong to Liberty?
Some might call me paranoid, but they are only being ignorant to the value of my work! But it doesn't matter what they think of me, what matters is that my devotion to Liberty never falters. What matters is that I have the strength and the perseverance to remain a servant of Liberty. For that is what we all are, servants. We are merely doing our duty for the greater good. Our respect shall never reach higher than the respect for Liberty itself, for then your soul does not carry the honour to continue its existence.
My helmet, my helmet, my helmet of Liberty. Only for the necessity of survival do I ever remove it from my head. I see all these people, I see them, I see them, I see them! They do not appreciate the Navy, they do not appreciate Liberty. They remove their helmet of Liberty so frequently!
Maybe they are not loyal,
Maybe they are not trustworthy,
Maybe they are traitors!
I must watch them, I must track them, I must note them.

Can we truly trust our own leaders? Do they really serve Liberty, or themselves?
Just this other day Fleet Admiral Hale did not properly follow protocol five, subunit B-2, during a standard patrol with myself and another ensign. For example, not in every single trade-lane, as stated by the procedure of said protocol did he check with the traffic operator if he was clear to initiate docking sequence. What a fatal mistake to ignore such crucial routines.
If he doesn't do it, who's next?
The Vice Admiral?
Oh what if the Captains begins to become so sloppy as well?
Imagine the heresy. The chaos!
Are these the people who are to represent Liberty, to represent the only true nation of Sirius?
Ridiculous. But I can't strike. If I strike I will be put down for treason. I merely wish to see us properly serve Liberty. If the protocol demands us to perform a certain action, it can only be righteous of us to follow it. Infallible logic. Totally infallible. Anyone who dares to question this rule of thought is a traitor.
A Rheinland spy. Or worse, a Coalition sympathizer.
My observations must continue. If I find a mistake deadly enough to perform the killing blow, I will take it without hesitation. Liberty is us, we are Liberty. I'm its Guardian. Protector of its position in life and glory.

So it has been decided.
They have promoted me to Captain.
But I remain suspicious.
What if this is merely an illusion?
Just a mirage created by Hale?
Yes. Yeees. They want me to "forget" about them. But what they don't know, is that I write everything down. Every step they take, every word they speak, every single act they perform during active duty is one that is saved. Restored. Logged. Recorded. You are all under surveillance, I know your every move.
Oh, and things are indeed looking worse my Liberty.
Two days ago Commodore Christina Robinson addressed me as "Sam".
Sam?
Why Sam?
Who is Sam?
The Liberty Navy protocol clearly states that an officer of the law should always be referred by his or hers rank and surname. Another acceptable form is to use the official given rank along with the full name. Just exactly like I referred to Commodore Christina Robinson of the Liberty Navy Primary Fleet.
This is an complete outrage. Unacceptable at every level! How could Commodore Christina Robinson address me in such fashion? Clearly Commodore Christina Robinson does not believe in Liberty. Because if Commodore Christina Robinson would do so, then Commodore Christina Robinson would follow, THE PROTOCOL!
Watch them Captain Zanders. Watch them. One wrong move and all of Liberty will fall into complete chaos!

"Someone might have mentioned a prank however. So... watch your back!"
- Lieutenant Hank Kapinos
Does he know of my plans? What is this "prank" about? Is it a codename for an operation? How... Why.... This is impossible. I made sure that nobody could figure it out. It was all locked away.
Hidden.
Burrowed.
Concealed.
What does this Lieutenant know? He must know something. He said it in front of the damn Admiral, he must know... Why can't he understand. I'm doing this for Liberty. Liberty's laws must be followed. The law is our life, we only exist to embrace it. To uphold it. Some may say that the law is to protect us. But that is a lie.
The law does not exist to serve us - we exist to serve the law!
It is above all life. Hank Kapinos, another one added to the list of suspicious figures. Perhaps he is a spy sent by Fleet Admiral Hale, to watch me. He must be, what else does a Lieutenant gain in this? Probably looking for a fast promotion or something of similar self-serving interest. And these have been assigned as the hand of Liberty? They don't believe in Liberty. They don't trust Liberty. These... these parasites. I must remove them.

"Let us reconsider her position."
- Fleet Admiral David Hale
R... r.. re-reconsider? Are you mad? Completely out of your mind?
It has finally happened.
This is the final step he has taken, for his selfishness.
He does not care about Liberty, about the war or about the rightful position our nation demands. The one we have earned, deserved and fought for.
He only cares about some rag-tag whore, a filthy murderer who lives on the blood of the order which keeps our house clean, safe and secure from criminal predators. Waiting to sink their teeth into undeserved credits. How can he even consider the position of protecting a woman, whom we all know has commited the most awful crimes known to man, and attempted to disgustingly justified it. Some form of black widow, trying to use her body to seduct men who are driven by physical passion.
I know what you are after Hale. And I know you have some deal with this woman. You would never protect... "Eva" if it wasn't for some past history you shared with her. Regardless of your current occupied relationship with another disgraced Commodore and her son, that damn traitor Willows... I know, I know it all. And trust me. You will not get away with this unpaid.
You WILL answer for your selfish decisions that has affected the house of Liberty.
I will stop you. Even if it costs my life. You will never, ever, proceed with that deal as long as I breathe.
There are no more fronts to this war. Because the war rages everywhere.
