Hello, transport pilots.
I've made a rather questionable decision, however it is one which must be made in concert with another. I myself am not comfortable with it entirely, however it must be done. The exact details of the first may be seen here. I have called upon you to perform a task which might be considered... Morally questionable. Simple pokes will not alone persuade the Corsair Empire to roll over; at least not yet.
It is no secret that Crete is an unforgiving place. It's surface is littered with rocky crags and archaic ruins from some unknown society from before. Water is scarce and land suitable for farming even more so.
Your task, dear captains, is to smuggle toxic waste to the surface of Crete. I do not care how. Hide it beneath sheets of semi-useful cargo, if you must, just get the waste there. No doubt I could have a friend of a friend of a friend who knows a fellow who says he can help do the rest for me, but it would be much simpler for you to do it. The cargo will be useful anywhere, just do not let them space it.
The target is the planet ecosystem. Burn it, bury it, sink it, pour it - any of these will have desirable effects. As I said, simply make sure they cannot easily harvest the barrels and space them before they can do their damage.
Now no doubt you are interested in your reward.
I will be paying eight hundred (800) credits per unit of waste delivered to Crete. If you're sly enough, there is a great deal of money to be earned here.
A template for your pleasure:
500 units of waste: 400.000 credits
1000 units of waste: 800.000 credits
2000 units of waste: 1.6 million credits
3000 units of waste: 2.4 million credits
4000 units of waste: 3.8 million credits
5000 units of waste: 5.0 million credits
(Saturation bonus for four and five thousand barrels of waste)
Individual deals can be struck, of course, if you require some other incentive to lend me your hold. The people of Cresthaven produce and possess a great many intriguing objects - and money is no issue as you no doubt know. We can make arrangements here or privately. It is your choice.
Happy trails, pilots.
As I said, I am up for negotiation. I just want your labor.
