It is unfortunate that I must contact you both in such manner, but we have a slight situation. A group, led by a Mr Jared Nomak, has been causing problems for Bretonia as of late. This includes attacks against shipping, threats against the House, and threats against Her Majesty the Queen. You will find the threats available in this communique . As such, I have notified Mr Nomak that he, and those who follow him, are no longer welcomed in the Kingdom of Bretonia. I have also been advised by members of the Board that he has links to the organisation known as the "Commune". I can only assume this is the group he speaks for.
To the Police Authority, I forward you this information so that you may inform the officers of the constabulary, and that we may work together to protect Bretonian trade and other civilians.
To the National Council of Malta, I forward this to you in the hopes you may be able to assist us, either by attempting to order them back, or granting us the freedom to operate against this group with no repercussions or fallout between the Kingdom of Bretonia, and the Nation of Malta. We simply cannot tolerate threats against Her Majesty the Queen, especially not at the height of war.
I thank you both for your time,
On behalf of Her Majesty the Queen, and Her People in the Realm of Bretonia,
Michelle O'Brian, Admiral of the Fleet First Sea Lord
Bretonian Command
COMM-ID: President Cristina Martelli TARGET-ID: Admiral Michelle O'Brian
INITIALIZING MESSAGE
Admiral O'Brien,
this is truly disturbing news. There has been no communication with us or our agencies on Malta. We will get our own intel on the situation of course.
Since they attacked and threatened you so directly I will not ask of you to leave their ships intact. We will contact them though and see just how far they strayed from Maltese interests.
For now I suggest that you treat them as any rebel group. Keep them out of Bretonia and use lethal force if they don't cease their actions. Should this misunderstanding be cleared, and I assume it is one even in the current situation, we can find a solution how to handle it.
I would ask to have a bit of a closer eye on the situation and would ask of you to permit me to send a delegation and a small strike force into your systems. It wouldn't consist of anything bigger than a cruiser which is also the only thing we are able to spare to assist you outside of fighting the gauls. Being present like that will greatly speed up any decisions and allow for direct communications with either the Commune or your own forces.
