Mr. Harrow,
I have to admit, Junkers are more organized than anyone would expect and indeed this is a very strange and unexpected contract.
And the news of the Dark Matter storm, well it travelled all the way to us, but I did not know Junkers are now in possession of Ingolstadt, which makes this contract very understandable.
Now, looking at the contract, all the points you brought up are more than valid, even the one where you specify to not use them against you, but I'd like to point out something: I do not wish to let this be a one organisation job, so the GRG will assist in any way we can, like I've said we're sending repair ships and a modified one to ease your work, and I expect the same thing from you in the base's matter.
Now to make this easy, Dark Matter is pretty much unknown to us. All we know is that it's part of the Universe, along side Dark Energy and "normal" matter, but I'll save you the physics speech and cut to the chase.
We are not aware how it works, but it seems that it likes to "play" with gravity. And in combination with some other element, create those high radiations.
So in poor words, we will need a bit of time to dig and understand how to move, but I'm sure we'll figure something out.
As per your request, we'll prepare an evaluation team to understand better the situation, which will file a report on how bad the situation is. Along side the we will be sending them a medical team, to understand the stage of radiation exposure, and based on the case, send the subject to a more prepared facility to deal with the ilness, and possibly cure it.
As for the rest, in the name of Genesis Research Group, we agree to the terms proposed by the Junker Congress and therefore start the operations, effective immediately.
Hello again Mr. Lawrence.
I am once again sorry for taking so long.
I am very happy about your stance and the minor changes you proposed. A cooperative effort on both fronts will allow for additional perspectives on how problems can be solved. So long as we don't drown ourselves in forming committees, this will allow for quicker results. I'd like to reinforce the notion that many Junkers do as they please. Congress Junkers generally adhere to the Arbiter, the Deputy Arbiter, the board of directors and similar entities but they always retain a minimum of freedom. If one of them gives you guff, talk to someone else. They'll likely reign the troublemater in or offer to take their place if they see your point.
Very well.
Arbiter Tiltman has viewed the first draft as well as your changes and additions. He liked it so much that he decided to make it the final one.
I, Rell Harrow, Rheinland Director of the Junker Congress, hereby sign the contract that came to its final form in this string of communication with my name, duty and responsibility in the name of the Junker Congress.
Signed;
Rell Harrow.
