Quote:3.3 Out-of-character (OOC) chat must not be used in system or local chat. OOC communication in group or private chat between players will cease if one player requests it. Admins are free to communicate with any player at any time.
3.4 Threatening other players with reports and sanctions, attempting to pose as an Admin and using an Admin's name without permission is not allowed.
Consequences: 100 million credits, which basically zeros out two of your ships bank accounts. In case you're wondering, when you file a sanction report on someone, especially one that wasn't needed, it's possible that they may be filing one on you. If you'd bothered to look by using either the /showinfo command or maybe actually checking the SRP chart, you'd have found that all your OOC commentary was completely not needed. That was close to being considered a malicious report you filed, due to your lack of due diligence and OORPness.
If you post in this sanction and are not directly involved or a leader of the accused person's faction be advised
that you are consenting to be subjected to the reprisal of my choice which may involve in game repercussions
up to a ban.

The screenshots that you DIDN'T send us of the sanction report are what resulted in you being sanctioned. We have stated that there is to be no OOC if system chat, which includes local. You cannot just put // in front of it - that does not apply.
This is not your first time for rules lawyering - and in this case, the person you attempted to sanction has all of the permissions needed to have both the ship and the equipment. Your comment, I say let the admins deal with him ... was inappropriate. We have said in the past that any discussion is to be done in PM's, and you specifically have been told not to rules lawyer.
Your failure to follow these simple guidelines has resulted in this sanction.

Ok rule lawering. That i understand, and i am sorry for it. I will no longer even try to help people i think are breaking a rule. Heck i am almost sad i explained other day to a guy who re-ingaged 3 times, instead of reporting him,as i am sure if he showed screens I would be one sanctioned for it.
Ryoken, you were not trying to help someone, you were lawyering a player who unfortunately knows and
follows the server and roleplay rules better than you do. And because he/she tried not to get involved in
the OOC, you posted a sanction report on him/her.
If you had actually taken time to read the faction permissions thread to see if his/her name was actually
there, instead of trying to get the ship busted, we would not be having this conversation ...
Some say he is a proud member of: "The most paranoid group of people in the Community."
I think you read my last post a little wrong. I understand i did rule lawyer, but what i am saying is: where does it go from helping,to rule lawyering. In this case yes i was lawyering I see that now, but what i was trying to say is other day what i would assume is a new player died to my fighter, then re-launched attacked again, died again, launched again. So me and an Official LSF player tried to explain this was against rules. Now if someone screened that? would that also be considered rule lawyering? I picked to talk to him, instead of reporting, but from this sanction all i get is it is safer to report, and just keep quiet, but in the past the admin teams have said try to talk to people first, and then report. So now i am just really confused.
I fully accept my sanction, and am sorry if i came off harsh/angry(hard to express fealing's with keyboard)I just wanted a few answer's is all.

If you feel the need to talk to someone about an issue that you think is incorrect, you use a PM. Local chat is still considered system chat. ANYTHING and EVERYTHING that is said in system chat is supposed to be in character. So telling someone "//Your ship is wrong" in system chat is both rules-lawyering AND a violation of server rules. Sending someone a PM, "Hey, what's up with your ship?" isn't.
Hopefully you can understand the difference between those two items. Also realize that the /si command is out there, where players can put their own infocards on their ships, and we admins can post the SRP info. (Which in and of itself was amusing and frustrating for us, since ... well, you go to that link, and you'll figure it out REALLY quickly. http://discoverygc.com/forums/index.php?...pic=69891)
