Character Theme Songs - Introduction

The old thread hasn't been updated in a while, so, without further ado, I present the new character themes thread. Pick a song for your characters and post up! To add a character, please use the format below - characters posted without the format won't be added.

Artist: Luigi Boccherini
Notes: A delightful song to listen while cruising into the beautiful unknown worlds.

Akiko Fukui (Semi-lawful Freelancer)

Theme: Dragon's Dogma OST - Character Edit
Artist: Tadayoshi Makino
Notes: Short: Born Kusari, raised on Pittsburgh, exploring the universe, positive, propulsive.

Alyosha Garza (Alejandro Garcia) (Former Colonial pilot, now President of the Free Terran Republic)

Theme: Ace Combat Zero - Beyond the Borders (Credits)
Artist: Various artists
Notes: Alex has always been one to look out for the lives and well-being of others, often proclaimed as an idealistic man who values freedom and human rights above all else. Despite this, his morals and beliefs were twisted and slowly began to be crushed during his time as a Colonial pilot, having to fight enemies he did not consider to personally be fighting against. After faking his death and changing his name to Alyosha, he has formed the Free Terran Republic as a way to preserve one of the last bastions of true respect for human life in Sirius.

Notes: For hire.

Charles Richard Hall (The leader of BRF| and BAF|A, vice-admiral)

Theme: Always Look on a Bright Side of Life
Artist: Whoever made the music for "Monty Python"?
Notes: The character is as blithe as the song itself. It might even be his motto, along with some weird stuff only him and God can understand put in.

Christina Ross ('former' racer)

Theme: Redline OST - Redline
Artist: James Shimoji / Rob Laufer
Notes: Rhythm of heartbeat and ship becoming one.

Compte Pierre Vincent du Petit Thouars (Indie Valor captain)

Theme: Le Retour des Princes Francais a Paris
Artist: I don't know, it's made after one of the previous French anthems, "Vive Henry IV!".
Notes: Doesn't it sound so majestic and powerful, and yet so gentle, rich and puffy?

Notes: Acquiring funds to launch an expedition for knowledge about the wonders of the natural universe.

Notes: Fighting against friends, Family. Fighting for the peace in Rheinland.

Theme: Irish tavern music medley
Artist: Multiple composers, played by the Gaelic Storm
Notes: He was a Molly once, but he didn't care about a free Dublin. He only wanted money, women and booze, so he turned pirate.

Elaine Maxwell (Colonial Mover)

Theme: On the Road again
Artist: Canned Heat

Erich Klugmann (Bundschuh)

Theme: The Gunner's Dream
Artist: Pink Floyd (Let's not lie to ourselves, pretty much just Roger Waters)
Notes: A song cautioning against repeating history, with a distinctly anti-dystopian flair. Political undertones and slightly unsure and pessimistic, just as a Bundschuh surrounded by threats and pressures might be.

Erik Meier (Coalition Premier)

Theme: Death before Dishonor
Artist: Five Finger Death Punch
Notes: May seem a bit harsh to some, but he would die before betraying the Coalition.

Notes: Quartetz! Heart

Gunnar Fromm (Red Hessian flieger)

Theme: Eirik Jarl
Artist: Composer unknown, played by Harald Foss.
Notes: It's a song about a Norwegian hero who's helped defeat the Swedish.

Hannibal Bishop (Junker captain of industry and commerce. Former Congress Arbiter, mostly keeps to himself now)

Theme: Head Like A Hole
Artist: Nine Inch Nails
Notes: His body is mostly cybernetic replacements. A bad deal involving a double agent, some very skilled and motivated ex-Liberty military turned homegrown idealistic guerillas bent on stamping out Junker influence, and a firefight at a biowaste processing plant turned into a nearly successful assasination attempt.

Jack "Snake Eyes" McMaverick

Theme: Snake Eyes (feat. CoMa)
Artist: Feint
Notes: I was looking for a really cool name for my Merc that I was making, I was so stumped on names. I needed a name that could basically sum up the dangerous, twisted life of an assassin. I listen to this song and was like, OMG, this "Snake Eyes" is the perfect name.

Jane Eliza Hartman (Liberty Navy Commander)

Theme: End of my Journey
Artist: John Dreamer
Notes: The gradual progression there from the slow, soft introduction to the stronger drumbeats serves as nice mirror for the military life Hartman’s lived and her, at best, apathetic attitude to her own life’s value.

Johan Lennox (A mystery to himself)

Theme: Encounter

Notes: Painful to find answers on which none really exist.

Notes: Flying around Sirius and tries to change everything.

Notes: Sounds like a typical life story song, but I just found it so fitting for a Bounty Hunter.

Notes: Despite the confident façade she puts up, underneath it all, Tyler’s just as lost and confused as everyone else.

Notes: Aggresive, opportunistic, ever combat-ready.

Two-John Redding (Freight captain under contract with Gateway)

Theme: Wasted Years
Artist: Iron Maiden
Notes: Captain and owner of the Hammersmith, now under Gateway colors and contract. Former Bretonian Armed Forces infantryman, decorated veteran and survivor of the disastrous planetside Harris Campaign. Reluctant Bretonian patriot who holds deep resentment toward the bureaucratic infighting that crippled the effort to hold the Taus, resulting in the arguably pointless deaths of many of his comrades. Nicknamed 'Two-John' due to being named after his father, and given his grandfather's name as a middle name. Both men were named John.

Artist: Nicki Taylor
Notes: I Thought it was a neat idea to let her sing her theme herself (inRP). So it's pretty self-glorifying and it mostly isn't true at all, but the lyrics are what she genuinely thinks about herself. Yes, she is that undeservingly cocky and self-absorbed... Annoying little brat!
