Hello to you, My name is Winston Baxter.
At this point in the war on Gallia, after seeing the Punishers fire on Vagrant raider civilians without reason, and hearing word of them starting brawls with TAZ, I'd like to bring up an issue that just occurred.
Tonight, a Combined force of Liberty Naval Secondary ships and our own, fought off a Valor with Punisher Gunboat escort. The gunboat was destroyed, but not before the Valor, had decided to open fire on a "Nephilim" Class Mobile Freeport, full of civilians.
I personally believe that the commanding officer of the Valor class warship had gone too far. The Mobile Freeport was severely damaged, and several hundred of it's population were injured in an unprovoked attack. The Valor, however, was destroyed. They may not of been one of your citizens, but from what I've seen and heard, you've all undergone similar unprovoked assaults by several pilots in the Royal Navy.
Are you truly going to sit by and allow them to push farther, and injure more innocent people? I know you're not all fighters, or soldiers, but something could at least be said about this matter.

Dear fellow Zoners,
I recently came into command of this Nephilim, which was going to be scrapped down. Whilst on a journey through Cortez to Magellan, conducting some performance and manoeuvrability checks, we encountered a Gallic assault force near to Freeport 4. We had intended to maintain a defensive stance, but we raised our status to the maximum when a Nomad fighter uncloaked in the area. That Nomad, however, showed no signs of hostility. All of a sudden, the Gallic Battleship opened fire upon the Warbird and we returned the favour without hesitation. Ultimately, the opposing belligerent was destroyed and our vessel took heavy damage. It is now in for extensive repairs, but thankfully casualties were relatively minimal given the circumstances.
In conclusion, I must advise all Zoners to be extremely vigilant when operating in an area where Gallic forces may be present. They may well open fire upon you with little to no warning.
Follows the evidence we collected on this matter...

Dear Kelly,
At first the numbers were fairly low due to the significant armour of the vessel; 83 unfortunates and somewhere in the low-hundreds more-so fortunate. That was when we made home to set her down. However, that number has increased somewhat following several major failures, including one particular incident involving the propulsion system. I cannot disclose precise details, but we're now into the low-to-mid-hundreds dead and the high-hundreds having a serious injury of sorts. Many more took a knock but they're still on their two feet.
Your words have not fallen upon deaf ears and we are far from doing nothing about this growing set of problems now apparent.
For now, any vessel that comes under fire from Gaul forces will be cleared upon Shata for repairs and medical attention. All details of these attacks are requested to be disclosed for evidential records in case the means arise.
I ask that all zoners currently avoid the sectors of Magellan and Cortez in case of more blatant acts of Gallic aggression against other Zoner populaces.
Due to the new level of such assaults, We may soon begin talks with the Governments of Liberty and Bretonia to permit all zoner craft that have faced such aggression to enter their territories for defense purposes and the protection of lives.
Further statements may/will be given from Abassador Rackman in the near future. Until then I ask all to take extreme caution around Gallic Royalist Forces wherever present.

While I condem any attack on unarmed civilians I hardly believe it occured within our/neutral ground space, I would suggest that all zoners regardless of what they think they should do, to avoid contact in the hot regions. War is expensive and I suggest we make the best of it - On another note, I've had the pleasure to meet a few officers and they seemed unfriendly but not stupid enough to do something out of the ordinary, short of shooting rocks, or staying sober at christmas. I do not know how the decision making process goes, but to publicly engage a war with them will be a futile attempt that will do more harm than good.
Avoid contact at all costs!

Let them be stupid to try and breach our space and we will strike them until there are no more.

An upsetting report indeed and my condolences to the bereaved and innocent injured, it seems Captain Moore and allies very much saved the day in preventing even greater loss of life and serious injury, my thanks for that.
I back Pope Brettonias in his offer to provide rest and repair facilities to any ship of whatever Faction at Shasta should a similar event be experienced with the RNS, needless to say, Doc Holliday is advising on medical matters.
At this point the TAZ issue the following advisory to all ships in the area of Cortez, Coronado and Magellan: Proceed with all due caution, where possible travelling in group formation. Avoid contact and engagement with RNS ships but defend yourselves with vigour where necessary and please report sightings or contact via this channel or directly to TAZ Head of Security, Pope Brettonias.
Current status is that we are not at war but, it seems we are being severely tested and provoked. In this respect, consideration is being made within the TAZ Inner Sanctum as to how best approach a situation of outright conflict, should the Chaos get its way.

Yes, this is disturbing. I think my Ambassador and Pope Brettonias pretty much summed up the TAZ position. As they said, Shasta is open for those who need medical services but I do ask that conflict not be started near the base or brought to it by fleeing ships. I will have medical staff on alert.
As to the Gallics, we've had an ugly history with them. These Punishers are very thin-skinned individuals who fired on one of our unarmed transports when it's pilot spoke his mind. snorts
Leaderships by birthright. It's something I find repulsive. It is probably why I've never faired well with the Gallic Royals or Bretonia.

This is Director Leonardo Rhyo of the Zoner Corporation SSC, I just found the message you sent. Although my predecessor, Sone Vega, may have been paranoid, he was right about GRN and any associated units are unstable and unpredictable. The SSC has a agreement with Samura Industries, but I do agree that it may not help. I could attempt to speak with the Kusari Government, plead to them to convince the Gallics that Zoners can be good friends and shouldn't be considered as enemies. If that fails, I am willing to send the SSC's Legionnaires, highly trained soldiers in the latest and most advance combat exosuit or ACE. These troopers are already deployed at SSC bases, if wanting, I will send several squads to help protect Zoner facilities.
