Uh, hello there. I've been working as communications technician aboard the Neighborhood Watch lately. Mr. Franklin says he's got the shipping manifests sorted out, so I won't report that here. We had a brief run-in with a Xeno on a run over to Ontario. No trouble, nothing's scratched. Mr. Franklin had stepped out of the bridge for a moment, so I took care of it. I kept a recording of our exchange.
I think it'd be a good idea to avoid running into their kind near Liberty borders, but they don't seem keen on calling bluffs, so tell them a good lie if you end up in a snare.

First off; Eka, you should have reported your run-in with the fuzz last night.
Secondly; it was brought to my attention that the Second Amendment was intercepted last night behind our debris field with a hold full of munitions without shipping manifests. I understand that we're trying to be patriotic here by getting as much product out to Bretonia as fast as possible, but rush-jobs like that result in cock-ups like this. While I'm handling this pursuant to our arrangement with ex-Chief of Police Jax Rogers, courtesy of our CEO's silver tongue and the LPI's... discretion... I'd prefer if you all would be a little more careful in the future.
We can only buy them off so many times. Be a little more cautious going forward, you lot.

Voltolini here, with another for eyes only. First off, terribly sorry about the run-in with Knox and them; it won't happen again. Moving swiftly along, yesterday was one of the most frightening incidents of my life. Two hackers, Mr. Yoshida and Maximillian Largo, stopped me in Manchester and took me out to the edge of the system at gunpoint. There, they grilled me about whether I wanted to "get back at" Ageira, "get revenge", that sort of thing. They also seemed to be under the impression that Detroit Munitions is somehow a subsidiary of Ageira. You'd think people as smart as them would be a little better educated about the corporate hierarchy, or, well, lack thereof, but anyway, I said what I needed to get out of there alive with cargo intact. I'll attach the logs.
[19.04.2016 08:52:52] /DM/-Second.Amendment: Eka: Oh, great.
[19.04.2016 08:52:59] LH~Maximillian.Largo: Greetings.
[19.04.2016 08:53:16] /DM/-Second.Amendment: Howdy.
[19.04.2016 08:53:16] Mr.Yoshida.: What a hostile place this is
[19.04.2016 08:53:26] Mr.Yoshida.: I would rather be somewhere more quiet, wouldn't you agree?
[19.04.2016 08:53:40] /DM/-Second.Amendment: Ah, do I have a choice but to?
[19.04.2016 08:53:47] Mr.Yoshida.: No, you don't
[19.04.2016 08:53:51] /DM/-Second.Amendment: I thought not.
[19.04.2016 08:53:53] Mr.Yoshida.: Head to C-2 Sector
[19.04.2016 08:53:58] Mr.Yoshida.: Move quickly.
[19.04.2016 08:54:29] /DM/-Second.Amendment: So, uh.
[19.04.2016 08:54:40] /DM/-Second.Amendment: Come here often?
[19.04.2016 08:54:43] /DM/-Second.Amendment: *She laughs nervously.*
[19.04.2016 08:55:12] Mr.Yoshida.: Well.. it is part of our operational zones.
[19.04.2016 08:55:26] Mr.Yoshida.: I didn't catch your name yet.
[19.04.2016 08:55:42] /DM/-Second.Amendment: Eka Voltolini.
[19.04.2016 08:55:49] LH~Maximillian.Largo: Hm. Pleasant name.
[19.04.2016 08:55:52] Mr.Yoshida.: Libertonian?
[19.04.2016 08:55:53] /DM/-Second.Amendment: I like it.
[19.04.2016 08:55:57] /DM/-Second.Amendment: Yeah, from Houston.
[19.04.2016 08:56:08] Mr.Yoshida.: Well I am Mr Yoshida. Probably you have heard about me.
[19.04.2016 08:56:15] /DM/-Second.Amendment: Can't say I have.
[19.04.2016 08:56:17] Mr.Yoshida.: And this is Initiate Largo.
[19.04.2016 08:56:23] LH~Maximillian.Largo: My greetings.
[19.04.2016 08:56:29] /DM/-Second.Amendment: Ah - a pleasure? I think?
[19.04.2016 08:56:36] /DM/-Second.Amendment: Maybe not.
[19.04.2016 08:56:37] LH~Maximillian.Largo: Hmph hmph.
[19.04.2016 08:56:49] Mr.Yoshida.: I wouldn't greet an Ageira flunky, Mr Largo
[19.04.2016 08:56:54] Mr.Yoshida.: Not even in my worst nightmare.
[19.04.2016 08:56:57] LH~Maximillian.Largo: It was sarcastic.
[19.04.2016 08:56:59] /DM/-Second.Amendment: Hey now...
[19.04.2016 08:57:05] /DM/-Second.Amendment: I'm no "Ageira flunky".
[19.04.2016 08:57:09] LH~Maximillian.Largo: You are.
[19.04.2016 08:57:18] LH~Maximillian.Largo: As DM is an affiliate of Ageira.
[19.04.2016 08:57:18] /DM/-Second.Amendment: Detroit Munitions is an independent company, you know.
[19.04.2016 08:57:26] /DM/-Second.Amendment: Ugh, this "affiliate" nonsense.
[19.04.2016 08:57:30] LH~Maximillian.Largo: Yet you operate out of an Ageira base.
[19.04.2016 08:57:30] Mr.Yoshida.: A substisiary of Ageira.
[19.04.2016 08:57:51] Mr.Yoshida.: Don't mock our intelligence. We have all worked for Ageira at some point in our lives.
[19.04.2016 08:57:57] /DM/-Second.Amendment: I'd nitpick but I don't think you guys brought me here for a history lesson.
[19.04.2016 08:58:30] Mr.Yoshida.: No we are here to take what is rightfully ours. What we earned with our work and Ageira didn't
[19.04.2016 08:58:36] Mr.Yoshida.: compensate us enough for it.
[19.04.2016 08:58:42] LH~Maximillian.Largo: I approve.
[19.04.2016 08:58:58] /DM/-Second.Amendment: Well, maybe you ought to take that up with Ageira, then.
[19.04.2016 08:59:10] Mr.Yoshida.: Mr Largo, intercept this contact.
[19.04.2016 08:59:18] LH~Maximillian.Largo: On it.
[19.04.2016 08:59:34] LH~Maximillian.Largo: Hm. Looks like he wasn't coming.
[19.04.2016 08:59:35] Mr.Yoshida.: I hope you didn't call for help.
[19.04.2016 08:59:51] Mr.Yoshida.: That would be both destructive and painful for you.
[19.04.2016 08:59:52] /DM/-Second.Amendment: If I had, I doubt it'd get here in time anyway.
[19.04.2016 09:00:01] /DM/-Second.Amendment: No, we've got all the time in the world together.
[19.04.2016 09:00:03] /DM/-Second.Amendment: *She sighs*
[19.04.2016 09:00:11] LH~Maximillian.Largo: Hmm.
[19.04.2016 09:00:11] Mr.Yoshida.: Oh yes. Everything is calculated to minimize the risks and exposure time.
[19.04.2016 09:00:21] Mr.Yoshida.: And allow me sufficient time to say what I need to say.
[19.04.2016 09:01:09] Mr.Yoshida.: Eka, I might have had more respect for you if you worked for the main Ageira company.
[19.04.2016 09:01:32] /DM/-Second.Amendment: And how's that?
[19.04.2016 09:01:41] Mr.Yoshida.: As a former Ageira employee I remember that my Detroit colleagues were substantially less intelligent,
[19.04.2016 09:01:47] Mr.Yoshida.: effective and workaholic.
[19.04.2016 09:02:26] /DM/-Second.Amendment: Well, I'm sure we wouldn't be too effective at engineering trade lanes and supercomputers and whatever else those
[19.04.2016 09:02:31] /DM/-Second.Amendment: high-strung nerds do down at Pueblo.
[19.04.2016 09:02:36] /DM/-Second.Amendment: Given as we're, you know, gun manufacturers.
[19.04.2016 09:02:50] /DM/-Second.Amendment: So yeah, I can see where that attitude might come from.
[19.04.2016 09:03:02] Mr.Yoshida.: But I have an opportunity to offer you.
[19.04.2016 09:03:23] Mr.Yoshida.: An opportunity to get revenge on those who look down upon you and see a woman with limited capabilities.
[19.04.2016 09:03:38] Mr.Yoshida.: An opportunity to work with the best that Sirius can offer.
[19.04.2016 09:04:16] /DM/-Second.Amendment: Seems to me like you're the one who's lookin' down on me.
[19.04.2016 09:04:29] Mr.Yoshida.: For now. That may change however.
[19.04.2016 09:04:47] /DM/-Second.Amendment: To be honest with you, Mr. Yoshida, Ageira has always looked down on me. I'm a Texan.
[19.04.2016 09:04:57] LH~Maximillian.Largo: Hmm?
[19.04.2016 09:05:00] /DM/-Second.Amendment: Ageira has looked down on me and everyone else from Houston ever since the Incident.
[19.04.2016 09:05:08] Mr.Yoshida.: Then you know first-hand what Ageira did to Texas system.
[19.04.2016 09:05:09] Mr.Yoshida.: Exactly.
[19.04.2016 09:05:10] /DM/-Second.Amendment: Ever since they left our damn home in the dust.
[19.04.2016 09:05:34] Mr.Yoshida.: How do you feel that you now work for those very bosses who destroyed your home centuries ago?
[19.04.2016 09:05:54] /DM/-Second.Amendment: But I don't. I work for Detroit. Detroit might have a special partnership with Ageira, but they've done far more good for
[19.04.2016 09:06:04] /DM/-Second.Amendment: Houston by providing jobs to people than anyone else.
[19.04.2016 09:06:23] LH~Maximillian.Largo: Yet, DM is still one of Ageira's subsidiaries.
[19.04.2016 09:06:25] Mr.Yoshida.: Your Detroit boss answeres to his Ageira over-bosses.
[19.04.2016 09:06:36] Mr.Yoshida.: He answers. That's what matters.
[19.04.2016 09:06:47] /DM/-Second.Amendment: I started out at a little distributor, Oklahoma City, and worked my way up to flyin' this transport.
[19.04.2016 09:07:10] Mr.Yoshida.: What about credits then? Do you feel you need bigger compensation for your work?
[19.04.2016 09:07:23] /DM/-Second.Amendment: I don't care much for Ageira but Detroit's been like a family to me. Without them I'd still be livin' in a run-down apartment
[19.04.2016 09:07:32] /DM/-Second.Amendment: block that looks more at home on Leeds than in Liberty.
[19.04.2016 09:07:56] Mr.Yoshida.: Mr Largo. It seems she is not interested.
[19.04.2016 09:08:00] LH~Maximillian.Largo: Indeed.
[19.04.2016 09:08:03] /DM/-Second.Amendment: I don't know what you'd want from me.
[19.04.2016 09:08:07] /DM/-Second.Amendment: I'm not good with computers.
[19.04.2016 09:08:13] /DM/-Second.Amendment: I certainly can't fly a fighter.
[19.04.2016 09:08:35] Mr.Yoshida.: I am not asking you to hack computers for me. Or become a Lane Hacker.
[19.04.2016 09:09:00] /DM/-Second.Amendment: So what do you want from me?
[19.04.2016 09:09:05] Mr.Yoshida.: I am only inquiring whether you sympathize with what we do against our common enemy.
[19.04.2016 09:09:24] Mr.Yoshida.: Or not.
[19.04.2016 09:09:49] /DM/-Second.Amendment: One of your number nearly blew me to smithereens the other day.
[19.04.2016 09:09:56] /DM/-Second.Amendment: Vladimir Scorpius.
[19.04.2016 09:10:17] Mr.Yoshida.: You are now speaking to me. My name has power.
[19.04.2016 09:10:33] Mr.Yoshida.: And I can see potential and recognize it.
[19.04.2016 09:10:43] LH~Maximillian.Largo: You have lots of potential.
[19.04.2016 09:11:01] /DM/-Second.Amendment: Nice of you to say so.
[19.04.2016 09:11:02] Mr.Yoshida.: So tell me. Do you sympathize with our cause? This is all I want to hear.
[19.04.2016 09:11:24] /DM/-Second.Amendment: I sympathize with people tryin' to get what's theirs, but a straight story as to whether that's the truth of your organization
[19.04.2016 09:11:31] /DM/-Second.Amendment: is one I don't expect to hear from either you *or* Ageira.
[19.04.2016 09:12:09] Mr.Yoshida.: This is not an answer, Eka.
[19.04.2016 09:12:35] Mr.Yoshida.: I prefer people who are straight with me. Who can say what they believe and not play with words.
[19.04.2016 09:12:41] /DM/-Second.Amendment: If I knew more about you, then maybe I could give you the answer you want. All I know is what the holovids tell me -
[19.04.2016 09:12:57] /DM/-Second.Amendment: "the Lane Hackers are drug-abusing terrorists who hate freedom" - what happened the other day - and what you tell me now.
[19.04.2016 09:13:25] LH~Maximillian.Largo: Hmm...
[19.04.2016 09:13:41] Mr.Yoshida.: This is all about propaganda. Because they want to hide the truth.
[19.04.2016 09:14:18] Mr.Yoshida.: Look to your system, look to what happened to it and you will see who is right and who is wrong.
[19.04.2016 09:14:41] LH~Maximillian.Largo: You know who did that to Texas.
[19.04.2016 09:14:44] /DM/-Second.Amendment: So maybe you've got a point. So what, how's it affect me?
[19.04.2016 09:15:39] Mr.Yoshida.: It affects you by having an opportunity.
[19.04.2016 09:16:08] Mr.Yoshida.: By giving us inside information and getting revenge.
[19.04.2016 09:16:27] LH~Maximillian.Largo: [Nods]
[19.04.2016 09:16:29] Mr.Yoshida.: Or simply shrugging off and becoming another mindless worker of their workline.
[19.04.2016 09:16:45] /DM/-Second.Amendment: What kind of information?
[19.04.2016 09:16:58] Mr.Yoshida.: So you have an opportunity. Do you want to affect the future or simply be a droid?
[19.04.2016 09:17:16] Mr.Yoshida.: Trade routes, anything illegal.
[19.04.2016 09:17:26] Mr.Yoshida.: Anything we could use to get back to our common enemies.
[19.04.2016 09:18:19] Mr.Yoshida.: We are running out of time, Eka.
[19.04.2016 09:18:20] /DM/-Second.Amendment: *She's silent for a moment.*
[19.04.2016 09:18:25] /DM/-Second.Amendment: Alright.
[19.04.2016 09:18:29] Mr.Yoshida.: You need to make a choice now.
[19.04.2016 09:18:42] /DM/-Second.Amendment: I'll tell you what I can.
[19.04.2016 09:18:48] LH~Maximillian.Largo: Wise choice.
[19.04.2016 09:18:59] /DM/-Second.Amendment: I just don't want this to get back to me, but I'm not in a position to be making demands.
[19.04.2016 09:19:14] Mr.Yoshida.: If you want that, then send me a transmission over a secure line.
[19.04.2016 09:19:27] Mr.Yoshida.: Even here we are not completely safe.
[19.04.2016 09:19:56] /DM/-Second.Amendment: I guess you'll be able to figure out the key for any Ageira encryption methods I might use, huh?
[19.04.2016 09:20:10] Mr.Yoshida.: Of course.
[19.04.2016 09:20:13] /DM/-Second.Amendment: Standard 128-bit WFF is what we usually use for corporate stuff.
[19.04.2016 09:20:21] /DM/-Second.Amendment: Shouldn't be a problem.
[19.04.2016 09:20:30] LH~Maximillian.Largo: Mr.Yoshida, I can use my own encryption method.
[19.04.2016 09:20:38] Mr.Yoshida.: Excellent. I believe we are in agreement.
[19.04.2016 09:21:15] Mr.Yoshida.: Let's not use Lane Hacker-grade encryptions Mr Largo.
[19.04.2016 09:21:21] LH~Maximillian.Largo: Understood.
[19.04.2016 09:21:23] /DM/-Second.Amendment: So... is that all?
[19.04.2016 09:21:28] Mr.Yoshida.: One last thing.
[19.04.2016 09:21:33] Mr.Yoshida.: It's called insurance policy.
[19.04.2016 09:21:44] LH~Maximillian.Largo: Hmhm.
[19.04.2016 09:22:01] Mr.Yoshida.: You give me some money. You will claim to your corporation that this was your ransom.
[19.04.2016 09:22:32] Mr.Yoshida.: Then when you send your transmission, I will send you back the credits, anonymously in one of your bank accounts
[19.04.2016 09:22:45] /DM/-Second.Amendment: One hell of a stickup, Mr. Yoshida.
[19.04.2016 09:22:49] /DM/-Second.Amendment: How much'll it be?
[19.04.2016 09:23:05] Mr.Yoshida.: 5 million credits
[19.04.2016 09:23:13] /DM/-Second.Amendment: Alright.
[19.04.2016 09:23:20] You have sent 5.000.000 credits to Mr.Yoshida
[19.04.2016 09:23:27] 2016-04-19 13:24:42 SMT
[19.04.2016 09:23:53] Mr.Yoshida.: These credits will be yours then, as my gift to you. To show you that we compensate those who support our cause.
[19.04.2016 09:24:20] Mr.Yoshida.: Credits received.
[19.04.2016 09:25:03] /DM/-Second.Amendment: Is that everything, then?
[19.04.2016 09:25:04] Mr.Yoshida.: I believe we are done here.
[19.04.2016 09:25:08] /DM/-Second.Amendment: Alright.
[19.04.2016 09:25:24] /DM/-Second.Amendment: I'll send you a message once this shift is over, then.
[19.04.2016 09:25:40] Mr.Yoshida.: Excellent.
[19.04.2016 09:25:42] Mr.Yoshida.: Goodbye for now.
[19.04.2016 09:25:53] Mr.Yoshida.: Mr Largo, set distraction course for Leeds.
[19.04.2016 09:25:58] LH~Maximillian.Largo: Understood.
Of course, I don't have any intentions of giving them any information, and never did, but I wasn't about to tell them all that. I think we might have an opportunity here to try and infiltrate the Lane Hacker organization, or maybe feed them some false info, but I admit to not being smart enough to figure how'd we go about doing all that, so I'll leave that up to the likes of Grant and Gatz. I need to send them a message soon, though, or else they'll get suspicious, and I doubt they'll be as kind next time they see me. Until then, I'll wait back at Detroit for further orders, but I don't think I'll fly without an escort next few runs.

'Ey, MacGrath here. Planetform hollered for some firepower, so I did the legwork. The Five or Six Shots? did the full run tonight. Took 'em around twelve, bit more then asked. But, they paid for every box. Doubt we'll have to worry about Harris, unless they think they'll need more.. Dunno if twelve-kay's enough firepower, but it's Detroit. At least they'll outgun the Gauls and whatever crap they are armed with.
Attached are the guncams needed. Now I'm gonna get a stiff whiskey and make sure Alexander isn't testing the Wave Motion Gun on my damn ship.

So I've been working on getting us rights in Rheinland - good god, their laws are dizzying, even for me. Basically, every single one of our products is restricted there - light arms, base munitions, you name it. As such, I've reached out to Daumann to try and get the official recommendation we need to ship our stuff.
All this was brought on by our friends at Solitaire Metropolis offering us a contract for 20,000 crates of Modular Base Armaments. Hopefully, this'll be our foot in the door in Rheinland. If not, we can put pressure on the government here at home to put pressure on Daumann in response, and maybe our friends in the Sigma Junkers would be able to fulfill this contract for us, though let's hope it doesn't come to all that.
Also, Rose has been working on a deal with the emperor-in-exile to support the IKN; clandestinely, of course. We can't jeopardize relations with Kusari right now. He also reached out to USI, but that doesn't mean much to us. Smile and wave when you pass them in space; remember, they're our partners.
Finally, the LDP is on indefinite hold. It wasn't working exactly as intended. Any ideas on how to improve the program and hype it up might be rewarded with a one-time bonus, if they're good enough. Think outside the box here.
That's all that's going on right now. Keep shipping stuff.

So uh, I saw this come in. It's done now. Also got a ring from our friends in Bretonia they need some haulers to help with filling up the Wharf again, so I'm on my way to do that. Man, I'd ask for a promotion but I sure as hell don't wanna do Grant's job.

Goodness, has it really been ten whole years since someone used this channel? Come on, people. You have jobs and that means paperwork sometimes.
Anyways, the licensing fee for Gunpowder Falls has been paid, and the Logistic Arc is moored at Fort Bush. Once the final adjustments to the paperwork are completed, we'll be deploying the reactor core for the modular station. Construction crews are mostly worked out, but I want a headcount of who's ready and willing to do the initial supply runs and when, so that we can get the core shielded and the station pressurized by the builders as quickly as possible after core deployment.

In my last message, I talked about paperwork and Gunpowder Falls. Thankfully, we now have miss Corrine Halleway working with us, and she'll be doing a lot of the paperwork on the internal side regarding the installation.
She's LSF -- aaallll business. So you folks better be on your best behavior, capiche?
Anyways, Eka, have you heard back from the Provos? Because if they're not just yanking our chain, I want to see a new shipment of shiny gold bars sitting in the loading dock within the week.

Gunpowder Falls is now live. The construction crews will be working around the clock until the hull is fully reinforced, and the basic frames for expanded storage modules as well as further expansion of the installation's superstructure have already been completed. If your shifts see you coming across any "special materials", feel free to drop them off at the facility. We're looking to turn a profit here, so once Gunpowder Falls is in a state to welcome visitors, we'll be putting forth some concrete details regarding the business plan.
Ms. Halleyway, Ms. Voltolini, Mr. Beck, Mr. Whithead, and the whole crew of the Logistic Arc; good goddamn work. All of you will be seeing a complimentary bonus coming your way shortly.
