She kept looking at the monitor and then it lit up with a red sign flashing on the screen. Imediatly, Grubozaboyschikov started to type quickly."Eh...Perhaps I thought too soon... it's picked up something unusual..." She is focused on the screen and the commands scroll quickly upwards. "Perhaps... I thought too... soon..."
"Huh, a problem? Nothing you can't fix, hai?" Mi asked quickly and got behind Grubo, glimpsing at the monitor over her shoulder, seemingly not understanding most of what Grubo did there but she was certain that the Lane Hacker woman wasn't going to disappoint her, right?
Ignoring Mi's question, she worked through the commands until moments later she stepped back, looking as the commands continued to scroll down. She stood silent for a bit before turning towards Mi's direction. "So they think they are clever, eh... a whole new scrip... just so they can hide something for little-ol me, hm? Well then...." She was more talking to herself than to the woman watching her. "It is a shame they use their 'valuable' resources for such a pathetic use...", she giggled to herself, "Yes... yes...." She turns back to the console and looks at the commands filtering down until the end and the scan is complete. Mi can see her staring at the commands, scrolling up and down and talking quietly to herself... "If this means .... and if that is.... yes.. and here....."
Moments later she switches control panels and a few hologram displays appear. Meanwhile at the crate, some robotic arms are being up linked to the crate.
Mi remained silent the whole time. Seeing that Grubo apparently was lost in thoughts more than one might expect.
Sighing weakly once she decided to just watch the Hacker do their work. As she saw the robot arms linking themselves to the crate she couldn't resist to ask though.
She looked back, distracted from her question, but then continued on with her work. "It isn't that I am searching for something... I am just figuring out the .. umm... language. The script has man similarities at first when you look at it... but then there are large differences... ment to trip you up.... a sort of trap for someone who is not aware and just using their own standard..." She chuckled a bit to herself. "The fact that we have not blown up yet... means everything is fine and going well.
The robotic arms inserted cables into the containers and soon some sparks shot out. To do this correctly... without knowing the code, that is, I need t o create my own...
backwards. Logical, isn't it? It the same as if you'd be transplanting an organ and instead of having the body reject it, you'd somehow let the cells .... you know... work with eachother.
Does that make sense? She shrugs and continues typing. "This may take a few more minutes.... ahh.... hmmm..."
"The coding, right.. and uh, I guess going with.. backwards logics works then, huh.. well, it quite often does.."
Mi curiously observed what the robotic arms were doing, it looked pretty well, didn't it?
Then she just listened to Grubo's works and raised an eyebrow.. that comparison made no sense at all. "E~to.. I guess I know what you mean.. and.. no hurry?!""
She just sighed weakly and kept watching, there was nothing she could do besides waiting anyways.
"Unfortunatly, I need to hurry. I've noticed there is a part in the script that monitors if something is being tampered with. Sort of like an anti-virus... Though instead of removing or blocking me, it will explode. I've been able to simulate that everything is fine so far, going though hack ends...but... I fear it also has a timed component to it.
"When I give the signal, press the button in the other consol. It should be flashing yellow. Go there now and get ready... In about 50 seconds we shall see if we will be alive or injured.... Or dead... no pressure, but... dont press at the wrong time."
She seemed rather calm though part of the fact was that she was fully focusing on the work she was doing.
"The other console? Flashing yellow button. Got it. Just.. give the signal then."
Mi hurried over to the console, her hand already ready to press the button. She knew it, something had to go possibly go wrong, not that she was afraid though, no, she was rather excited. This whole waiting and observing had been boring. "And.. like I will fail to press at the right time, who am I?"
She added and smiled weakly, a bit of risk, finally.
"And... now!" She yelled, and then watched what unfolded in-front of her on the screen. Everything went according to plan and further down where the crate was, the arms were already opening the locks and unlocking the contraption. She turned to Mi, grinning a little but now it was evident she broke a slight sweat.
"We'll it is complete... Feel free to see what is inside."
Mi hurried over to the container, curious what is inside. Then she gasped amazed, this was like perfect! Especially if the rest of the containers have similar weaponary stored within them. "And.. two nice assault rifles, a few explosives. Oh and what is that?"
She took something out which seemed to be a strange metallic bracelet, she put it on and pressed a small button at its side. Immediatly a small beeping sound appeared, she checked it thoroughly and found a second button, a small display getting turned on. Showing various options, the menu being written in Kusarian only. "Interesting, really interesting.." She said and approached Grubo with it, holding it towards the other woman.
Then she realized what it was, a small computer for multiple usage: As scanning device, tracker and apparently even as detonator for the new remote explosives they found in the container too.
"This will be damn useful for assault groups planet- or stationside in the future. I wonder if it's able to be used as communication device too. You are the expert when its about encrypted things though. Want to see if it can establish safe connections too? Maybe with another device of the same kind? There might be more in the other containers."
