COMM ID: Agent "Veto"
TARGET ID: Operational Data Network
SUBJECT: Recent Junker activity
ENCRYPTION: Medium
As part of a homeland security program to crackdown on the amount of violations regarding the Liberty embargo with Rheinland I was assigned to watch over the embargo lines and document all cases of its breach. The following are some of the higher profiled events that have taken place regarding this and will be documented in order of occurance. This is intended to illustrate our side of the interactions and events leading up to and directly proceeding this transmission.
Event 1
Location : Bering / Hudson
Ship encountered : .:J:.Dazed.and.Confused
Pilot of encountered ship : "Aces"
Encounter summary
As part of the increased security of the Liberty embargo it was found that many ships, a majority of them Junker were often heading out of Texas into Bering in order to according to them delivers supplies to the Freeport. In an attempt to determine their true destination it was decided for my vessel, at the time the =LSF=Grosse.Ile to watch over the Bering-Hamburg JH.
During the course of this the encountered ship was seen coming from Bering into Hamburg, both with a cargohold full of high quality scrap metal and a ship deemed illegal within Liberty law. Due to the presence of scrap fields inside of the Bering system it was deemed appropriate to allow this vessel to continue on its way as it was felt that a certain amount of leniency should be granted given the cargo's origin, though certain information was recorded. It was found that the pilot who simply identified himself as Aces was bound for Omega 3 and that the cargo itself originated in Bering. This event is documented for later reference. Unfortunately a textual transcript of the event was lost though guncam images have been uploaded.
Guncam evidence : 123
Event 2
Location : Texas
Ships encountered : Argo, Blackdog
Pilots encountered : Unknown
Encounter summary
During a brief inactive period in trader activity along the main lanes it was decided that the best course of action for catching potential embargo runners would be to directly watch the jumphole to Bering. While en route from planet Houston to the Bering jumphole two vessels were encountered outside of the Puerto Rico jumphole, Blackdog and Argo. Both vessels were demanded to stop and standby for cargo scan with both vessels refusing to comply with demands.
Upon the demand to stop Argo immediately began to activate his cloaking device to escape while Black Dog claimed to be having comms trouble and jumped back into Puerto Rico. This led to me contacting another LSF operative, Agent Tracer in order to assist. While waiting outside for these two individuals to return following encounters filed as 2A, 2B and 2C occured. It was at this point Agent Tracer entered Puerto Rico in a surveillance ship in order to determine what was occuring on the other side.
Guncam evidence : 123
Event 2A
Location : Texas
Ships encountered : Cal.Maddox
Pilots encountered : Presumably Cal Maddox
Encounter summary
While waiting outside the Puerto Rico jumphole with Agent Tracer feeding me info from the other side an exiting Salvager class vessel was stopped and questioned regarding its destination and intentions. Before I was able to question it regarding the location of Blackdog or Argo it turned around despite my orders to halt and returned to Puerto Rico.
Guncam evidence : 1
Event 2B
Location : Texas
Ships encountered : MTS-La.Concorde
Pilots encountered : Unknown
Encounter summary
While continuing to remain vigilance over the Puerto Rico jumphole awaiting the return of either Argo, Blackdog or Cal.Maddox this Outcast transport was witnessed leaving the jumphole. According to Agent Tracers info from inside of Puerto Rico this ship had recently undocked from the Junker Base La Fortaleza. The ship itself was filled with premium scrap metal, possessed no guns and no heavy armor of any kind. Upon questioning the ship it claimed to have stolen the scrap metal from the Junkers despite undocking mere seconds before from a heavily armed Junker base and the ship not even possessing weaponry or a cruise disruptor. After forcing it to drop all of its cargo it was escorted out of Liberty via Bering before I returned to once again watch over the jumphole.
Guncam evidence 123
Shots of the actual undocking of the Outcast ship will need to be pulled from Agent Tracers vessel.
Event 2C
Location : Texas / Puerto Rico
Ships involved : Blackdog, Argo, Cal.Maddox, Tritons Crown
Pilots involved : Unknown other than Cal.Maddox
Encounter summary
It was at this point that Cal.Maddox again exited the Puerto Rico jumphole. He refused to stop repeatedly again and after being questioned on his attempts to flee this second time as well as the time mentioned in event 2A. He admitted this was in order to prevent myself from "pestering" others, admitting to trying to prevent my lawful duties. For this i demanded a five million credit fine from him for two counts of refusal to stop and a single count of obstructing justice. After refusing to pay he attempted to escape and I was forced to open fire, chasing him deep into one of the scrap fields.
It was at this point that Argo decloaked in a Pelican nearby and began to open fire on me, allowing Cal.Maddox to escape. Upon this assault I called for support from Agent Tracer once again as I was being engaged by Argo and Blackdog was standing by nearby. I managed to overpower Argo and he attempted to activate his cloak while entering the Puerto Rico jumphole and i was forced to give chase.
Once inside of Puerto Rico Blackdog followed and Tritons Crown was met inside. As I continued to fire on Argo Blackdog and Triton both engaged shortly after, CDing me repeatedly and both firing upon me allowing Argo to escape. As they had blocked my way out via the jumphole Agent Tracer was forced to enter the system commanding the =LSF=Kings.Bay.
Agent Tracer arrived to save me just in time as I was taking heavy fire from local defenders as well as Blackdog and Tritons Crown. Together we managed to destroy Tritons Crown before immediately making for the Texas jumphole as the reduced enemy firepower allowed us to escape. Shortly before Agent Tracer arrived a large .:J:. identified ship appeared, requesting we leave. Scans indicate it to be some form of Spyglass or Arbiter class battleship.
Guncam evidence : Large amount of shots
Event 3
Ships involved : .:J:.Wrecker, .:j:.Mcdoogan, .:J:.JunkyTown, Jack_Holt, .:J:.Golden_Tang, Black.Dog, Cal.Maddox, Argo
Pilots involved : I dont even know anymore
Encounter summary
As per standard embargo enforcement protocol I stopped .:J:.Mcdoogan at Houston and requested his destination. After he refused to identify his cargo's destination I told him to simply go on rather than arguing about his destination. Upon following him into Bering I halted him for breaking the embargo before again requesting his cargo's destination, this time he identified it as the Freeport in Bering.
At this point due to my previous encounter with .:J:.Dazed.and.Confused taking scrap metal into Hamburg I informed him that I would be escorting him to the Freeport to verify his cargo's destination. At this point he stated his desire to NOT go to the Freeport, suddenly changing his mind upon hearing my offer to escort him. As I was quite suspicious of his Cargo at this sudden change in destination I commented that I may force him to simply leave his cargo over my concern at the destination.
Upon hearing that he may be forced to abandon his cargo he immediately began to attempt to cruise away with .:J:.Golden_Tang immediately firing cruise disruptors at me in order to allow Mcdoogan to escape. I was then forced to open fire on Mcdoogan over his repeated attempts to run. Immediately after this Golden_Tang began to open fire on me. At this suddenly assault I again called for support from Agent Tracer, this time arriving in the =LSF=Menwith.Hill.
Upon Agent Tracers arrival the order for Golden_Tang to stand down was given and he accepted, his ship on the verge of exploding. After discussing matters other junkers began to arrive, first among them .:J:.JunkyTown and .:J:.Wrecker. After discussing the wrongs that Mcdoogan and Golde_Tang had committed it was decided that Tang and Mcdoogan would be taken into custody aboard the nearby prison Sugarland. Mcdoogan for refusing to comply with lawful orders and embargo running and Tang for assaulting an LSF operative.
Upon hearing this Junkytown informed us that this would not be happening. At this point we were forced to finish off the already damaged .:J:.Golden_Tang in order to take him into custody, Mcdoogan having fled earlier during my own forced combat. Immediately after beginning to take Golden_Tang into custody .:J:.Wrecker and .:J:.JunkyTown began to open fire on us, forcing us to defend ourselves.
As I was still in my recon and interdiction ship at this point I was forced to flee to planet Houston before taking command of the =LSF=Grosse.Ile in order to aid Agent Tracer. By the time I had returned the attacking Congress ships had joined forces with the attackers from the events of 2C. Together Agent Tracer and I managed to disable many of the attackers ships, the rest having fled.
Guncam evidence : Again with more shots
In summary : In my proffessional opinion all attacks on vessels were justified and entirely deserved, only firing at the refusal of lawful orders or in self defence. I would also like to further refer to the lone guncam image sent in this transmission. From this angle and the list of ships present the sender would appear to be Black.Dog. Furthermore this pilot seems to also be the pilot of the .:J:.Dazed.and.Confused, both sharing simply the identification of Aces.
This concludes my report, more in depths reports can be given on individual encounters if requested. On a personal note it is my honest opinion that at the very least Argo and Black.Dog, possibly .:j:.Dazed.and.Confused should never be allowed access to cloaking devices of any kind as well as requesting the arrest of all persons guilty of firing on lawful Liberty agents.
