I went around on a late night stroll, mostly seeking for things to humor myself wi-Oh... Allow me to re-word that.
...
I was seeking entertainme-, Nonono... Hrrrmm. Words...
Ahem, I was looking for something to laugh at that night - There we go!
My flight path concluded touring around Kusari and the Taus, finding nothing of massive interest during those hours. Patrol was resumed back in Liberty for any foreign elements or things of interest. My senses piqued when I saw two racers, who seemed to be running away from me as they entered the lane to Los Angeles, then turned around trying to escape me. It only stiffled a giggle within me. Predictably, I went to the California Minor to Magellan link in the system, finding them there. I decided to enact out what their nightmares portray me as, a Hunter out for them. Pfffheheh.
As they were worth of monetary and entertainment value, I sought out to engage the largest vessel present - the Marauder. An interesting flight pattern had formed while I was observing them. They deemed to be fleeting - abandoning each other, lacking the guts to return fire. It almost makes you wonder if they actually had any form of culture or codes to honor. Fascinating.
Either way, it was deemed useless to continue on the chase as the pilot was /infested/ with ionstorm interference. Two Libertonian War vessels came in to assist the Racer, engaging us. The ships were identified as [LN]-LNS-Tijuana and CAPT.Maxwell - who both opened fire on me and the newly arrived Saracen One.
Tired of the typical attire of the Liberty Navy, we show them how wasteful they truly were, calling the Andraste to the scenario. Of course, they were silly enough to loiter around, still attempting to chase me.
Heheh. Anyhow - Mistakes were made, prices paid, retribution fulfilled. They fell. Notably, a Nomad appeared during the scenario, which seemed to be observing for the most part, until the very last bit. It unfortunately escaped after we dealt with the Naval vessels. All in all, we managed to gather some scrap and materials from the wreckages.
Patrol resumed after receiving what appeared to be a distress call coming from Puerto Rico, but... we arrived there to find out there was no one calling for distress. Weird. We queried the locals for the status of the sector.

[01.10.2016 04:35:56] .:j:.ScrapVulture: Because evidently I have done something to earn the wrath of Nomads again.

[01.10.2016 04:37:32] .:j:.ScrapVulture: Snell: It got huffy when I pointed out a pattern among them.
[01.10.2016 04:37:37] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: Raven: Right, it's probably out hunting for more prey.
[01.10.2016 04:37:45] .:j:.ScrapVulture: Snell: Oh, it had the firepower of a cruiser. I'd be wary.
[01.10.2016 04:37:51] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: Raven: I'll take the West side.
[01.10.2016 04:38:02] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: Raven: Worry not, we have more than enough firepower.
[01.10.2016 04:38:11] A/)-ACV-Andraste: Tantalus: Diverting towards Houston, initiating Veil.
[01.10.2016 04:38:15] .:j:.ScrapVulture: Snell: Yeah, I thought so too. Then my Razor hit it and only scratched it.

[01.10.2016 04:39:44] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: Raven: Right, we're cloaked. But then again, who's to say they're not?
[01.10.2016 04:40:15] A/)-ACV-Andraste: Tantalus: Someone would have to lure them out in that case.
[01.10.2016 04:40:33] .:j:.Lucius.Vorenus: Right, we're off for some ugly sleep, too pretty right now.
[01.10.2016 04:40:43] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: Raven: Enjoy your rest.
[01.10.2016 04:40:44] .:j:.Lucius.Vorenus: Anybody got any straw..

[01.10.2016 04:42:04] A/)-ACV-Andraste: Tantalus: Still searching for the possible cruiser.
[01.10.2016 04:43:09] .:j:.Industria: I am scared of Nomads... I'm going to hunker down at Culebra Smelter until the danger passes. Talk to you all tomorrow.
[01.10.2016 04:43:21] A/)-ACV-Andraste: Tantalus: Down to 40% of Veil power... need to make some kind of discovery here soon.

[01.10.2016 04:43:40] A/)-ACV-Andraste: Tantalus: Raven, coordinates?
[01.10.2016 04:44:04] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: I believe it has escaped.
[01.10.2016 04:44:36] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: Without disruptors, I fear we're quite useless here without an appropriate bait.
[01.10.2016 04:44:58] A/)-ACV-Eidolon.Wraith: For now, we'll continue working on the reputation card. Call us if you see something.
Everything was fine, they say, 'Blaaarglh! Nomads!' they shout down my eardrums.
Me and Tantalus pressed on to investigate, trying to locate this newly found Nomad in Texas. We quickly checked the station and found nothing of interest - well, until we started hearing voices, then it went interesting. A Nammu revealed itself, which was quite the mistake.
There may or may not have been technical issues that allowed it to cruise away. Fortunately, we found it again in the Badlands of New York. Naturally, we opened fire. But due to... some more technical issues with the Disruptors, it escaped while on it's last legs.
