Yes, the Trade part of the Event is over.
It was mentioned in the OP
Quote:Event Description
Next week, starting from the 4th of September and lasting as long as the 10th, Alster Shipyard will be the target of a supply event. While lawful corporations can supply the Shipyard, the Unioners and their allies from the LWB will try and raid their transports. The RFP and RM can move in to fight them. There will be bonuses for the mentioned IDs for both kills and shipments.
As usual, we invite the official factions on either side to organize the participants via Skype and Discord as well as promote overall activity and presence during the event.
The event will either end on Sunday or when all shipments arrived.
Rewards for leading either of the scores will be a choice between 1000 units of Scientific Data or a NEMP-Launcher with 4x Ammo.
Top 3 get forum titles.
Other rewards may be introduced over the course of the event.
Just to let you know, 1,500,000 Event Units were delivered to both Alster and Planet Cambridge. This was worth a total of 21 Billion credits.
21B credits, that is surely a lots of money, but between how many people is it devided? I myself have bought Colossus for this event and didnt even managed to get the money back.
Maybe it would be a good idea to remove those event commodities, because at this point they are almost useless. I mean what is the point of transporting them, if you get 0 credits for the job? Not taking into account possible piracy, in which case you actually pay, to participate. So how about changing the bonus to ammount which you would get for similar trip lenght?
In any case, updating the ingame event description would be nice, so people do not get confused.
