It's safe to assume by the year 3000~, a whole star cluster away from earth, WWIi would pale in comparison to the Great Solar Conflict, or the Nomad war, or any other conflict afterwards.
Much like you don't learn about every single general in the Napoleonic wars nowadays, people of Sirius wouldn't recall any and all heroes of the 80 years war.
But that falls outside of the scope of DSM feedback.
