Kind of a step in the right direction... At least we're not getting dramatic sudden changes overnight that isn't roleplayed. The next way forward is to create similar events but allow a player-sourced outcome.

This is still balls though. It's not engaging for the defenders if they can't actually successfully defend their own objective, it devalues and undermines their participation. Why can't it's fate be up in the air? Is this meant to be an eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth, for Aland? That makes the whole world blind.
