We don't know how many ships the Core has. You have to understand that the Coalition assumes that all the enemies Capital ships are precious because we're taught that our own capital ships are precious. It's not unreasonable to assume you'd avenge your ships if we thought you valued your vessels.

We don't "believe" anything. We were merely going on information received from the Maquis. That information only stated that you were looking for our men. It never said anything else, so logically we would assume you were there purely for us.
When you look at it through the eyes of the Coalition, everything we've done is reasonable.

Eh? And you expect us to know every little thing you do? First, I had no idea this was a "faction event". News to me, that's for sure. You assume that -WE- organized the assault. We didn't, but we moved in to reinforce our allies. Next time you have a Faction Event, damn well inform the community aye?
As a Zoner, we're already assuming bad things about yesterday. If you had told us it was a "faction event" there would be no problems, now would there? As it stands, you did no such thing.
