It's been a while since I submitted my last report. Are the channel codes still the same? I hope they are.
This day was eventful. My first shift started at 1300. Colonel Lavelle was commanding both Valence and Amaury at that moment. I joined the squadron and moved to Languedoc in order to identify and gather scans of Council activities near Nimes Station. A worthy catch, but managed to escape.
The second shift started at... Well, can't recall right now. This time Commandant Picard warned me about the presence of a Sirian gunboat. This time we tore the ship into ionized pieces. Minutes later the pilot began to shout something about him -or her- willing to aid the Royal Navy by giving us information about "Nomads". We ignored the pilot and performed a recon mission around Champagne. A Council cruiser was patrolling near Marne's orbit, so we put in practice our diplomatic skills. After this, we moved back to Burgundy.
Third and last shift. Seems the new year altered Picard in some way because she poked me to launch another diplomatic mission into Champagne. This time we brought Sous-Lieutenants Fortier and Lanzerath with us, though the last one had some problems with the ship's portable toilet, so Kelly Levacher from the 3eme fleet joined us. Council forces decided to take a break after New Year, because nobody showed up to intercept us... Except a Redemption battleship. We got scans of that toy and made some shield-busting practice before the ship docked with Reims.
Once we reached Nevers' orbit, Picard decided to teach some lessons to a Navy aspirant (Ace.Lancer) we found around Champagne. He was smart, though he still needed to spend more time at the Naval Academy. On the other hand, we met a member of the so-called 'Angels'. Oui, those who carry galaxy-obliterators around the sector. This one looked harmless, yet quite talkative. Expect her visits more times.
