A loud explosion suddenly rocked the room. The Gallic method of pressing forward proved quite potent, as evidenced by a large hole that was left where the hidden door would be. If the designer of this room were here, they'd surely grunt with disgust. Moments afterwards, the loud roaring of metal was once heard again, followed by a few small tremors as the station shook from the force of the blast. It caused the group to wobble, some of them almost falling forward. Eventually, it stopped.
Archos walked back into the room to observe the destruction. "Well... that was certainly bold. Let's just hope that didn't reduce the amount of time we have to explore..." he sighed, before turning to Ezrael, looking at him sternly. "To answer your request Vertiga: No, you are not permitted to explore on your own. If you want to split up, you'll do so in the escort of the Core Marines. And before you ask, no, you cannot be in the company of Ms. Valmont without my attendance".
"She's your royal guest, Supreme Guildkeeper. I had not the slightest intention of taking away your pleasure of her presence," Ezrael sounded, looking more at the hole in the wall than at Nathan. The explosion was halling through the entire station. If there was anyone else here, that entity would surely be aware of intruders right now. Dust was floating in the air, slowly settling down on the floor. Blowing up sealed rooms onboard of a space station. Very funny. Obviously amused as he was unable to hide a somewhat amazed toothy smile, he entered the room again, followed by his robots.
Again the sound of bending metal was heard from somewhere. It was somewhat unnerving, but the massive station surely wouldn't break apart that quickly. As Archos turned around to investigate the room beyond the hole, he was able to spot two things at the ceiling. They looked like they were coming out of holes in the metal covering the room from above, and long tubes attached to them were moving into position - sentry guns! Probably a reaction to the explosives!
