People said the same thing back when Guard systems were ooRP, I'm just sayin'.

Apples and oranges. What Thyr said is absolutely correct. The idea of having your faction's home system that they build their ships at being OORP is simply ridiculous.
The idea of having an unconnected system with an OORP ruleset solely for the intent of practice and testing new loadouts is quite another. In RP conn would annoy more people (myself included) than anything else.
Wow, now Conn's existence turned to be a problem. Why don't you guys just play for enjoy, and having fun, rather than seeking for some kind of "nonsense" in mod?
In my experience, if it came up in RP then it was said to be a simulation or a "dream" of fighting the elite players. There's no problem with it being there.
Conn is fine the way it is, nothing about it needs to be changed. Just looks like you're trying to find something to change, Ice, stop that... Good ideas are not formed by looking for something to change for the heck of it.

How about Conn was created by an advance alien race that just left it existing in sirius and maybe the humans figured out how to use it including nomads maybe it was built by the dome cavoush or however its said to bring peace between humans and nomads ?
Use that to spring up some ideas

becaused I typed it up, pressed "post thread", and lo and behold :O
its like magic, huh.

Not all change comes from necessity. Sometimes already good things could be improved as well. Sure conn isn't like on the top of the things-that-need-to-be-changed list, but that doesn't mean I can't be allowed to discuss this.

Just lock this.
You (and your friends) desperate attempts at silencing me amounts to censorship of a somewhat personal nature- hey if you don't like an idea, then disagree and move on. If you think a thread is pointless, quite simple really- ignore it. Unless a person who "owns" the forums/mod tells me to stop (maybe an admin or mod), I have no reason to stop what i consider to be contributing. And at least for a brief moment before you and your phobic buddies showed up, there was some sort of discussion.

Good ideas are not formed by constant discouragement of new ideas. Good ideas are formed by constructive discussion, not destructive nay-saying and the instant flaming of any new idea that you don't approve of.
No atmosphere? GTFO.
The propeller is the greatest invention of all time.
Discussion and constructive criticism has happened and we concluded that there is no reason to change the status of Connecticut.
Just to make it clear, the topic was already flawed right in the first post.

The assupmtion of Connecticut exists inRP is false, Connecticut has been considered ooRP for very long already (if not ever), this getting backed up by game mechanics has been completed with it finally getting cut off from New York and made reachable by an FLHook command during early/mid-4.86 (not sure when exactly, maybe it has already been cut off right at the beggining of 4.86). Given this, the question of how could it fit RP better shouldn't even arise, as this system, being an ooRP entity, cannot, neither has to fit RP. This is the reason why people even question the existence of the thread, as it doesn't make sense to put up this subject for discussion.
I hope it's clear now.
tl;dr - No need to fix what is not broken. You put it up, we discussed, we concluded. I believe this thread lived it's life long enough now.
