Noble familia,
I am greatly honoured by the efforts made to obtain our new yacht. Though I trust the capture of the vessel did not take place without incident, the ship is in excellent condition, and is in the process of being kitted out with reliable Corsair technology. I'd like to thank all those involved, Commandante Jose for commissioning the devotion of familia resources to this endeavour, and especially Elder Ronaldo who's coordination of the strike made this possible. I'd also like to thank the three teams of marines who were able to capture the vessel and bring it back to Corsair space safe and sound. Accomplishments such as the capture of the OSC-Orinoco reaffirm the position of the Benitez familia as the Empire's pre-eminent force for special operations.
The Elegancia is equipped with luxurious facilities, but, importantly, impressive engines and manoeuvring thrusters, decent weapon-mounting capability, and an advanced bilateral countermeasure system that should allow it to slip away from any perceived threat. Though currently kitted out with standard transport equipment, our engineers will be investigating the possibility of mounting more interesting technology.
It is likely that future special operations will be coordinated to obtain compatible tactical equipment for this vessel, but once complete, it will hopefully serve as a valuable strategic platform, and a rapid and secure transport vessel for myself and other dignitaries to conferences, treaty-signings and summits with our allies and associates.
Once again I'd like to thank everyone involved, and, now that we have a vessel suitable to carry myself and my security team, I look forward to flying with all of you once again.
Viva los Corsairs. Viva los Benitez.
Don Carlos Benitez

MICRO-LOG
An OSI vessel is noted to have delivered significant quantities of food to Planet Crete. The vessel was scanned by the Battleship Chimera, and docking permission was granted remotely.
The vessel was scanned on departure, and delivery of the goods was confirmed. The vessel departed safely, and thanks were extended on behalf of the familia and empire.
There is indeed a problem with the food supplies, senor Perez de Martino of the Brotherhood has requested to all our supplies allies and friends if they would be able to lend humanitarian assistance and these senores have clearly done so.
Oh and congratulations on your new vessel, the last bits of technology is being delivered to the hangars as we speak.
Ciao for now,
Ronaldo

A lost son has returned. Several weeks ago, during a regular interdiction operation in the sigmas we've intercepted an omicron supply industry vessel. This vessel was on its way from Omicron alpha and had been hijacked by an escaped prisoner of war.
A detachement of marines on-board the aegis was able to capture the vessel. Upon further investigation it seemed the hijacker of the vessel was one of our long lost agents.
Francisco de Orellana, an experienced and celebrated deep recon pilot. His mission had been dispatched in 800 AS prior to the deposing of Don Rivas. He was earmarked as Missing in action and even a ceremony was held in his honor.
Heavy cardamine withdrawal did a number on his body. The medical crews at Atka station are patching him up for proper debriefing.
This information is not to be shared with anyone outside the family.
Ciao for now

This is probably going to be one of my saddest entries.
My day started out well, I received a message from Trueno who was testing the new Prototypes in Omega 47 against the hessian and bounty hunter fighter patrols. I was flying my centurion and trueno was flying the prototype. That way we could be sure to have two samples of data, one recorded from the prototype, one recorded from a corsair ship (incase the prototype malfunctions).
We were very successfull and collected a lot of important data that the Penelope scientists requested.
Afterwards, we went to escort a Raba class transport to Atka station where we picked up a new recruit by the name of "Franco de Orellana" and escorted him to trafalgar where he started to earn his reputation with the empire on a legionaire craft.
After this, we got reports from Freeport 1, it seemed that the station took damage and was in danger of breaking apart. At this point, we made haste to the freeport to, first and foremost, evacuate all corsairs from the station. Starting with the embassy we picked up all corsair signals we found and flew them to Freeport 5.
The Don himself was playing a crucial role in this as his Yacht acted as a medical transport.
On the way, I had a private chat with the Don about him calling the Miners "Scum" and meeting them with such despisal. I told him of my opinion that I think we should treat friend foe alike with respect. Especially enemies who stood up to the corporates and fought for their freedom, carving out a living in the Taus like the IMG does.
In that moment we received a distress call from Freeport 1 who called to us for help to evacuate more people if we can. The don decided that we should return - he felt that what I said persuaded him that civillian lives were worth saving. But the don warned me that I should never forget that corsairs should always come first...
We arrived at Freeport 1 and docked to evacuate more survivors. From what I remember even a few corsair signals might still have been on the station. The Nereides, piloted by Trueno, also got the news and rushed to Freeport 1.
It was very hectic, screams, panicked voices, the comm was a mess and at some point the Don himself must have decided to play an even more crucial role and entered the freeport himself. I have no idea why Cezar, the commander of the Yacht, let him do this, but that is another story. You would think a Don who warns his capitana that corsairs come always first would think of himself first and foremost as a corsair and not go on such reckless endeavors, but again... another story....
As the last waves of survivors were loaded onto the yacht and the Nereides who had arrived by now, we received reports that the Don's team was missing.
Since the Yacht was loaded full of wounded and dying people and the Nereides had just docked, a decision had to be made. Cezar contact me for that, instead of Trueno, who as an elder should make the calls.
I wonder why I had to make this decision when Trueno, as an elder, was present, but whatever. Cesar asked me what to do and I responded "Search for the Don".
Cesar responded. "Capitana, there are people dying here..."
And then I told him "Depart, the Nereides will search for the Don". As far as I was aware, there may still have been corsair survivors on that Yacht and the Nereides had just docked and was ready to receive people.
So the yacht left and we concentrated our efforts on finding and recovering the Don.
At this point we were all worried sick and I decided to dock to the Nereides and help searching myself. I felt responsible because I told the Yacht to leave and fly the last corsair survivors and civillians to Freeport 5 and let the Marines of the Nereides, whoose cargo and medbay was empty as it just had docked, look for the don.
The Freeport 5's adminitrator (who was present in an Eagle fighter craft) wanted me to spot for a Bowex transport but I did not listen and felt that the Don took priority. It was unlikely but maybe I would make the difference... the Don's warning came to mind..
I reached Trueno's team on Freeport 1 and after a while of searching we received message of one Bablo who had found the Don unconscious and wounded. Oxygen masks were needed and fast, so I took a few of the oxygen masks, asked for Bablos' position and tried to make my way there.
I had to avoid a few burning or unstable corridors but I found the way and arrived. Bablos' team picked up the Don and we carried him back to the Nereides, while more survivors were loaded on board. Since I lacked the strength to help otherwise, I was holding the Oxygen mask to the Don's face while he was carried.
Once on the Nereides, the Yacht docked and the Don was transferred and we made haste to Freeport five, where we unloaded the survivors. The don was emergency treated on the Yacht but it was clear he needed a hospital and prefrerably el pronto.
I contacted Dr. Alejandra Diaz from Crete Hospital who had saved my life back then when the assassins came for me, so if anyone can, hopefully she can save the Don.
I escorted the Yacht back to Crete and then exited my craft to visit the hospital together with the Don's emergency transport.
I am at Crete hospital now and writing this report from one of the rooms. I sustained some injuries myself on the way to the Don but nothing I can't recover from. Currently all our eyes are set on the Don and we hope for his recovery.
Ever since they took him to emergency room I did not hear from him or Dr. Alejandra Diaz from Crete Hospital.

I hope this will help with your investigations, Commandante.
Viva la familia.
As per this transmission we met with the senorita from the IMG today in Omega 3.
Leon was with me, and later Franco joined us. Many signals were around at that time so were nervous to be so far out of position.
We kept our comm's primed for the frequency we were given by the IMG pilota. We only knew it was urgent and that it couldn't wait.
Eventually we met them, the senorita was present as well as an escort freighter. It turned out the senorita had fifteen corsair pilotos the IMG had picked up and wished to re turn to us.
It was a token and gesture of good will they extended to prove their bengeign intent. As if this was not enough they also brought gifts, an entire transport load of food rations.
They told us that they had a matter of discretion that they wanted to bring to our attention. It appears a transport had been attacked by a different corsair clan recently and some people were taken captive. Among them, so we were told was the husband of a wife, both being dear friends to the senorita Julia Morrow.
She asked us if we could find out this person and if they were still alive re turn him to the IMG.
Of course, seeing neither Leon nor I had heard of this person, one "Marc Hudson" we could not promise anything. But seeing we were brought fifteen of our own pilotos and an entire transport load of food rations, we agreed to look for them.
But what is more interesting is that these IMG pilotos found it in their heart to come to us with amatter dear to them and trust in our honor as corsairs and Benitez.
This actually amazed and it evoked a respect for these people within me. It takes courage to trust, especially people with a reputation like us Corsairs.
Since the transport load of food was more than we could carry, the pilotos from the IMG agreed to fly with us, because they trusted us. We lead them to Omicron Gamma where we organised a transport in reach to fly the food to Crete. This unexpected shipment was a very bueno surprise.
I regret to have scared the crew of the transport, I had forgotten how frightening our home systems can be to anyone not used to them.
Once the food was all transferred I escorted them back out safely el pronto. The senorita and her escort flew to Freistadt where, I true to our word, saw them safely to. Before I hightaile dout of there as hostile signals began to show up left and right.
All in all this was a very surprising but very interesting interaction. I had not thought the IMG had pilotos like the ones we met among them. They may be our enemies, but they are compeltely unlike the hessians or the outcasts.
After today's interaction I hold more respect for them than ever and I am actually looking forward to interacting with them again, these t wo pilotos from today in particular.
It was a nice feeling to let the weapons rest for once...

Hermanos y Hermanas,
muchas gracias for following that weird lead we found- and muy bueno it worked in our favor, liberating 15 possibly lost children of Crete!!
It seems these miners have more honor in them as those they associate with- what a shame...
Not infringing on anyone's honor here though....but dios mio...was it necessary to lead them to Omicron Gamma? Our ancestral home? Even if the gringos emptied their flight records....what has been seen...cannot be unseen! This was a severe risk hermanos, always remember- the house gringos want to get rid of us and exploit and starve us, even if some seem to be more trustworthy than others!
Bueno, it cannot be undone, so i say let's make the best out of it- the lost gringo and his familia, we will try to find out what happened- i already demanded all flight records of independent familias operating in the Omega 3 system.
The plan is simple - get those gringos for a buneo price, then ransom them dearly to the Miners- after all, you just got gits for "looking" for them, nada for delivery,si?
I will come back at you as soon as i can find out more!
While on a test flight with one of our prototypes, we encountered an alien ship that turned out to be one of the dreaded nomads. Instead of attacking us or sending us hurtful visions and mindgames, it tried to communicate with us. And what is even stranger is it seemed to hold no ill will towards us.
And as if that wasn't strange enough it seemed to try to warn us and tell us that it rebels against the other aliens with a small group of followers. I think... it tried to tell us that the other aliens hunt them and once they are crushed they would turn against us.
It seemed very urgent and intent on showing us that the other aliens mean us ill while the one we spoke with and its followers didn't mean us ill.
At any rate, I have stayed far away from it and deactivated all sensors and active sensory systems as to not infest my ship. This is a guncam image I made manually from about six to seven clicks away.
I do not know if it is just a trick or a devious ruse, but at the end I felt something strange (in a good way), a warmth and positive.. light.. or something, that I rarely felt before. That was astuonishing, I had no idea these aliens were capable of that, all they ever did was attempt hurting us...
I am glad to announce that this accident that brought me far away to the foreign space of Liberty resulted in a few unexpected events that eventually lead to me meeting the "Xenos", a group of Libertonians who might hold common interests with us.
After speaking to them at their base one of them wanted to meet us and I agreed to escort him to Omicron Gamma where could meet with our familia.
