Louis Ledoux was born in Languedoc on Planet Quillan in 797 AS. Since 699 AS, when mining operations on Quillan's surface proved to be profitable, his mother's family settled down in a small settlement, called "Laval", where they earned their livelihood as miners, being employed by the Gallic Metal Service. Like their parents, his mother, Yaelle Dupont, became an employee at GMS as secretary. In 796 AS, she married the Gallic Royal Navy officer, Cédric Ledoux and one year later, she gave birth to Louis. During the Second Gallic War in 804 AS, his father disappeared in the battle against the Council near Planet Marne when Louis just started school. Since the rebellion had taken most of the GRN forces away from Languedoc, and due to the lack of defensive installations, the Council started their assault on Dauphine in late 806 AS. With the disruption of the gallic communications and the destruction of Bourgon-Jallieu Station, where even civilians got killed, Yaelle feared her nine years old son to be in danger, and sent him to her grandparents, who were still living in Laval on Quillan. In 813 AS, the Council sent their capital fleet through the jump gates into Languedoc, without being bothered by the unprepared GRN. His mother, who was at that time working on Remoulin, got successfully evacuated into gallic core space in time, before the Station got destroyed by an exploding fuel tank which got hit during a fight nearby. When the Council finally arrived at Planet Quillan in 815 AS, the GRN needed any man who reached his 18's to defend the planet's surface. And so it came, that Louis got assigned to wear the GRN uniform without any training. Heavy armed but badly trained, being still half a child, he got sent into open combat to defend his birthplace Laval. Though, the increasing number of Councils and their "waiting tactics" forced the defenders to surrender. Being a prisoner of war, Louis heard the news about the large battle near Montpellier Guard Station and the Council's aim to create a path to Sirius. In 817 AS, their plans came true, and they managed to break a route through the minefields. Thus, the isolation from the rest of human civilization, which lasted for over seven hundred years, was over. After the "Reunion", it only took a few months for the GRN, to take back control of Languedoc. When his mother returned home, he told her about his plans to start a career as fully employed pilot at the GRN. At first she was sceptical, considering the memories of Cédric's death, but she knew that she won't have that much influence on her son's decisions, and therefore agreed on it. After a two-years-long training in Anjou, Louis was prepared to fill in the application at the primary Gallic Royal Navy fleet.

On Quillan, during the Second Gallic War, I've experienced how important an efficient and of course steadily growing military house force is. And so I've decided to be part of it. Furthermore, it is obvious, that the Navy needs any hand they can get, since the war against Bretonia has to be won without great losses. I wish to be the King's sword and shield in difficult times like these.

I'm actually surprised to get recruits who already had the pleasure of experiencing the war. Doesn't happen every day.
Anyway, Monsieur Ledoux, consider yourself accepted. Like all new recruits, you'll start at the rank of Sous-Lieutenant. Get your things ready and make yourself useful without getting killed.
Quick background summary:
I had a wonderful childhood growing up on the middle class streets of New Paris. My father is a successful Solar engineer and my mother a nurse working at Le Gernane General Hospital. As a child my days were spent playing football and watching countless documentaries and films about our great nation and of course the royal family. Since I was five years of age, I knew that all I wanted to be was a member of the Royal Fleet and when presented with a choice I always opt for the one that would get me closer to that goal. I attended the Royal Naval Academy, where I obtained a degree in Military tactics and strategy. I also have a certificate in advanced space combat. Luckily I am already familiar with the "Lynx" our main tool in the defense of the crown. I am very proud to call myself Gallic and will become even more so if I am able to call myself a naval pilot.

Quick background summary: Like I already said, je suis Motierre Matise d'Autoine. I am currently aged 31.
My childhood was... tres magnifique, back then, I enjoyed reading books. I remember my parents gazing upon me as I was spending countless hours reading the creations of authors like Gustave de Lyonnaise or Francois Valois. My favorite were the fantasy books like ,, Mikillen " aswell as drama, political and historical books.
This love for literature guided me in pursuing a career as a Writer, aided by both of mon parents which is a surprise as it's not very popular for your parents to support you in pursuing an artistical career so, I managed to get into a good Gaul language and literature University in New Paris where I successfully graduated
Now, allow me to get back to the present, monsieurs et madames. The career of a Writer, as lovely as it is, has become quite dull over the time. I have lost my talent, and mon inspiration, mon muses. I want to taste life and experience it, but I also want to do it with a reason, with a goal and for this, I have decided that the best thing to do is to serve the kind, serve Charles deFrance in the Royal Navy and for that, I attended a Military Academy. Still, at this choice in life, my family had doubts in letting me go and wanted me to remain at my career as a Writer, as they feared of losing me. It's not the first time a member of our family wanted to serve the crown and met with a disaster. That's a true pity. Still, I didn't let that stop me, I made my choice and thanks to my stubborn nature nothing shaked me.
I dare say I do possess some particular knowledge regarding combat and tactics from the history books I've read and the studies and research I had to make in order to write my own books and the Military Academy allowed me to put the information I learned into practice.
Still, my best skills remain my ,,flickery serpentine tongue'' which helps me in surviving everyday torments of life and persuading. I also dare say that nothing will overcome my skill with the words.
So here I am, fresh from the training academy!
