Bonsoir, most esteemed and impecable members of the Temporary Autonomous Zoners, Omicron Supply Industries and Phoenix as well.
My name is Robert d'Autoine and I am the Head Councilor of the Commonwealth.
I am contacting you merely because The Commonwealth desires to keep contact with the influential zoner organizations just so we can keep in pace with any possible trivial or diplomatic updated that could affect the entirety of this zoner lovely community. I admit I also like to have a chat about the latest trivialities as well from time to time.
But oui, I think I can say I've heard some rumours stretching from down there in the Omegas and the Omicrons, mes amis. May I inquire the latest trivialities and news which are centered around those parts? Merci beaucoup.
Au revoir!

It’s good to hear from you and the Commonwealth as well. I hope you are doing fine. I’m not really sure what kind of rumors reached the Taus exactly, but maybe I can provide you some information according to the recent events in the lower Omicrons.
To get to the point, due to the lack of ability to compromise and the failure of diplomacy, O-74 became a warzone twice, involving several parties like the Order, the Zoner Alliance, the Consensus, Solar Runners, numerous independent vessels and ourselves as well. Although these quite regrettable events seems to be calming down right now, the tension between the concerned parties are still perceptible. Mentioning the Phoenix, we withdrew from this conflict a while to concentrate on more important issues.
If you have any question about the details feel free to ask, however I would prefer to answer them on a more secured channel.

Monsieur, thanks for the communication... didn't we meet at the recent Baffin Convention for Zoners? I seem to remember your face....
Anyway, yes, the TAZ knew about the recent ruckus down in the Omicrons, but did our best to pretty much steer clear of it, at one point we tried to get some peace talks going but can claim no success in that endeavour. The parties involved were bickering and fighting like cats in a sack, so we ended up backing off the situation.
Anyway, according to Matok, you're now based up at FP10... Right? Just round the corner from Baffin ... Could be useful in mutual supply runs, we're looking at a rebuild of Mal's Base since it was so cruelly brought down, would you be interested in providing assistance? We'd certainly reciprocate with any similar project the Commonwealth might embark on. Let's stay in touch.
Aw, it is certainly a most appealing circumstance to hear such punctual and warm greetings from both of you, monsieurs.
Monsieur LaCroix, I am now tempted in visiting the Omicrons to see this sights for myself. You could say I'm doing it for entertainment purposes, heh.
I'd very much like to inquire if you possess the knowledge as well as the desire to share a relatively safe route from the Taus to the Omicrons. We do not have the logistics to make frequent travels there, but I am sure our Research Branch can come up with an exception.
And monsieur Rackam, oui, we express the fortunate luck in basing ourselves in Freeport 10, now. And I am certain that we can reach an agreement that will prove to be a mutual benefit to both of us, should the TAZ ever require our aid in - I dare emphasize - "Any" matters.
Merci beaucoup pour the time both of you have offered.
I'm also wondering how do you manage to keep the different political parties in the omegas and omicrons away from your business. The Commonwealth possesses the fortunate luck of witnessing such colourful ambilavent parties such as the SCRA with the Corsairs in the omegas and lower omicrons, the Core and the Order in the omicrons and the continous nomad threat.
I never had the opportunity to meet any corsairs, to be honest. Are they like the... Outcasts? Very organized pirates with a closed society and a keen sense for business? What about the Coalition? I can't say I don't mind to redecorate all the Freeport 10 with red carpets everywhere but I think their political ideologies do not coincide entirely with our views, non? Or do they?
Speaking of red carpets... Hm, I'm now tempted to proceed with that redecoration plan since we've been already tackling this subject. Would the Coalition sell such commodities in order to "Make a better living for the FREE people of Sirius" ?
That being said, I will dare to thank you once again for joining this trivial and entertaining conversation, mes amis. I am looking forward to hear from you

Pardon my tardiness to this transmission. I am Duncan Stow, CEO of OSI. The rumors you may have heard concerning the omegas, specifically Omega-49, could hold some truth. We unfortunately are having an issue between the Corsairs and the Coalition. Ugly business that has occupied much of my time of late.
Perhaps once things have calmed down here we can have a more productive conversation? Im sure we would have much to discuss.
Well, the Corsairs, as you said, are well-organized in a way, proud and brave warriors, maybe reckless, but also have their own problems like everybody out here. Formerly, we had some conflicts with a part of them, but our relationship is decent right now. Anyway, it doesn’t matter who are your neighbors, the essence is what are their needs and how can you help them in it, especially for your own benefit, of course.
In case you decide to visit the Omicrons, I can arrange you and your escort a proper accommodation in Livadia Shipyard. You only have to send your expected arrival time through this channel, so we can expect you.
As for the journey itself, if the Commonwealth possesses a module of the experimental jump technology, we can provide you hyperspace coordinates to 74. However, if you lack such technology or prefer the old-fashioned way of travel, whatever the route you choose, I would suggest keeping a low-profile to avoid unnecessary attention. But I’m sure you know that as well. Probably the shortest route from the Ten is through Outcast space, so if you are in good terms with them, that is your choice. Of course you can use the lanes of Kusari, but according to my personal experiences it’s not much safer.
