We have had a lot of contact in the past few months and I was hoping you could do something for me. As you might be aware of the [TAZ]Barrel.Roll has suffered a lot of damage on the past journeys. Now I was curious if we could use Sabah Shipyard to restore the damages. It will be a lot of work and I can imagine you want some fee for letting us use your facilities.
There might be in the future also some other projects which you might be able to assist us with. But this will be future talk and it is all not certain yet. Depends how Hodge and Podge are aligned and the wraith of Eris within it all.

What on earth happened that would cause severe damage to a ship of that magnitude? My mind would consider a Gallic attack but it seems more likely to be filed away under "the will of Eris" on your part. Onto more menial parts of the agenda I suppose.
The size of the vessel will be problematic, even with the continued work on Sabah. Almost completed to start the repair of our Zephyr carriers with some dry-docks large enough to accommodate a Nephilim homeship (and by our estimates, a Redemption class battleship), a Barge such as the Barrel Roll would be far oversized for severe work.
That being said, bringing it to the proximity of our shipyard would allow our engineers and dockmasters to do some heavy repairs in space, whatever that would be.
Is it stable enough to survive a jumphole, or shall I authorise one of our working jump-ships along with a patchwork team from CDI to move it? They can also handle the specifics of materials and pricing up the work.
It will be a lot of work indeed its mostly plating work and well the jumpholes and gates made the most damage to the ship to begin with.. That along with the asteroid fields it is not that we could easy dodge incoming rocks. It is a ship with a huge maintenance at least under certain circumstances, but I guess you figured that out already.
The jumpdrive technology seems to rather break more on the vessel then to prevent. Due to this I will make sure the ship will be nearby the Sabah Shipyard by its own strength. It can barely fly, but it would be a higher risk to use such technology within the ships current state.
As I mentioned before the ship will suffer some more damage due to the asteroid field and ofcourse the jumphole, but will not be so much damage as when the jumpdrive technology would be used. I will make sure the ship will be there within 24 hours, I shall let you know when it has arrived.

We managed to get the ship nearby Sabah Shipyard. It was a hell of a job, during it some additional damage came towards the engine on the back, specifically the one on the right side.
Due to this we could only use the 2 front engines at 80% because we did fear it might get more problems due to overheating. My engineers made an calculation of an additional 300 working hours to repair the engine.
I thank you for helping out, I greatly appreciate it Commander Anders. If I could do something in return, please do not hesitate to ask. I also did sent a group of our own engineers to assist within the repairs so it would speed up the process.

The Commander passed this onto us boys who run Sabah, and me as the foreman running those boys. As an engineer, this 'little' project is a joy compared to some of the techy stuff they've had me looking at recently, so thank you, sir, for that!
The bookkeepers have had a look over your plans and the state of the ship, and they've got the wages worked out at 75 million for the team assigned to it over the 300 hours. I'll pass a materials list onto Lou when we've got it worked out, your TAZ boys can probably help out with collecting some things too. We'll work out how much it's going to cost at the end and send you the bill, yeah?
In the meantime, feel free to grab a drink in the Ambrosia while we're busy. You can get us a round when its all done.
Have a nice day,

It’s a pleasure to meet you, I asked the other Popes and we are pretty confident we could gather some needed materials for its repairs. I want to thank you for your time and effort and I guess you are more than happy it seems to have some ‘little’ project.
Now I am going to follow your advice and go to the Ambrosia for some drinks, please inform me when all is done. I will await the full bill and do not forget to add the drinks.

I was wondering if you could give me an update on the situation. As lately we have seen a lot of traffic passing trough Baffin heading towards the Coronado jumphole. The other popes where already cautious as we did fear an illigal installation within our beloved Baffin, so we decided to use a cloaked recon vessel which did stop the chase when it entered the Coronado jumphole from Baffin. In the meantime I am going to Shasta as there is still some work to do a lot of work.

Sorry for the wait with all this, what with our other work on Sabah itself and a couple of our newly mobile Zephyrs, those 300 man-hours were spread out over a month or so.
If you care to take a shuttle outside though, fire up the mix of brand new and recently-repaired engines, systems and what-have-you and I'm sure you'll be pleased with the results.
As for pricing, the Guildmasters handled a lot of their own payments so it's not all that extravagant. Whenever the problems with Interspace's systems are fixed, send 100 million to CR|-Treasury and, if it's not too much trouble, a picture of your beauty for our boys (the ship, I mean).
Have a nice day,
