Kallisti, Director,
Do youself a favor and don't waste your breath trying to reason with Gallic Royals. I have tried myself numerous times only to be met with threats, insults and the one time I did finally get a result, Prince Joseph DeFrance himself left in the middle of talks here at Shasta. It'll take a lot, and I'm not talking about massacring my people to get me into shotgun diplomacy, to get me to sit down with them.
The Punishers? Pfffft!! I grow tired of their arrogance, shooting an unarmed transport because a pilot spoke his mind.
I also don't think that Kusari or anyone else will care to intervene on our behalf. Our problems are about as much theirs as theirs are mine. For now, I have sent a TAZ fighter to Freeport 4 to monitor things. It's all I can spare.
Excuse my being bitter but if you had walked in my shoes, you would understand why I feel as I do.
Sincerely,
Dr. John Henry Holliday
TAZ Administrator
I understand the anger Administrator Holliday, I remember the acts that the GRN committed in the name of their so-call "Sovereignty". There are records of the SSC involved with certain issues in regarding a Freeport near Kusari territory, Freeport XXI. From that, the SSC is on very unstable grounds with the GRN. However, I wish to put that aside, until the Gallic Royals prove to be as barbaric as the acts they have committed I negotiations.
Regardless, we a great deal of station and ground security teams that can be deployed for any other Zoner Station if permitted. If you need a ship with neutrality that may possibly be a great asset, the E.V Averon captain, Jackson Riker, he may be able to provide some assistance, however, a Transport with low grade equipment might not work as well. If you take this offer, give the Captain what he needs and the rest, he will do. I don't know if you are preparing, but we have units mobilizing in the atmosphere of locations we stationed at. Let us hope we won't have to use tem.
So, after I stumbled on this transmission, I decided I'd throw the Floatilla's thoughts in on this.... ARE THEY OUT OF THEIR MIND?! They just opened fire on one of our Carriers, unprovoked, and it was destroyed! Several hundred Civilians and members of our Security Division are DEAD! The rebuilding cost will be immense! This is clearly gone on long enough!
Our gunners aren't warriors, but they managed to destroy one of their fighters. Thankfully, a lot of people made it off safely. A lot didn't. This cannot happen anymore, we went there to link up with a fuel ship, so we could return to the Omicrons! Then outta' no where, they turned on us and opened fire!
To keep an eye on the situation, and provide what aid we can to wounded soldiers on both sides, I've stationed the Research Cruiser ZFS-Venture in Magellan. Let's hope it's crew don't share the same fate as the Colossus V.1.
Kallisti fellow Zoners. It is regrettable that the Kusari Government is not responding and the KNF High Command does not see the complications this might have on their government. Only one outcome seems more likely, that we Zoners may, in fact, have to goto war with Gallic Royals. If the Punishers continue attacking Zoner vessels, they may begin to trace flight paths to their origin. And we can not let that happen. Late Director Vega had plans from his tme in SSC, incase such events occurred. I am prepared to set them in motion, and with the advancements to SSC soldiers, we may have a chance. Note that it is a option that may result in further problems, but I will not act unless authorized to do so. The SSC and its Legionaries are the will of the Pope. We are ready to do whatever it takes when we are called.

Go to war? You beat those drums much like the Zoner factions of the Omicrons long before. They almost lost Freeport 9, Freeport 5 and Freeport 1. I will not declare a war on anyone as to do so gives the Punishers exactly what they want, a fight. I don't have the ships nor resources to fight anyone. What defense I do have is for Baffin. My medical ships aren't set up for war.
I've said before, I don't respond to shotgun diplomacy. I will not be forced.
- When our planet was bombed ... our people murdered, very few did something! Now one single ship, that was attacked because it was on the wrong place at the wrong time, many want to go to war!! "small pause" You don't want to be attacked by Gallic forces? Simple! Stay away from then, and remember that Gran Canaria can't stay away from problems that some ... Zoners ... create, and the people who live here, are the ones that pay for the mistakes of those ... Zoners!!
Who ever, or what ever you are, Gallic Royals are a imperialistic government and should be monitored closely with some restraint. But you, unknown sender, I must ask myself, are you some Gallic Royal accessing the Zoner Communications arrays? Unlike most of Sirius, the SSC don't use the Neural Net as most would think. I advise that if you are a Gallic Royal, to terminate your connection to our comm satellites and never use this communication again. Do so again and I'll have the connection traced. Do not reply!
In the regards of the Gallic Royals, we already know that these Punishers have made targets of your vessels, Administrator. If the E.V Averon acquires a gunship soon, they might be able to provide support for any of your ships. We know for a fact they prefer the Leeds system as their "Hunting Grounds". If it is not support you need, then the captain can offer a alternate route. Only reason I have mentioned war is that if these Punishers decide to pursue Zoner Vessels, one of those Zoners may lead them to Baffin. But since they stay clear from our Freeport in the Tau system near the Kusari territory, I know its unlikely that the Punisher will pursue that far.
Gallic Royals may start changing their methods. However, I've only seen at least 2 Valor Class Battleships at any given time on records. We have also monitored their activities inside Gallic space, comm chatter from unencrypted messages, but only news and common knowledge of military activities. We are prepared to goto war, not saying we will. It was the initial outcome from one of our departments that believe that war may come to the Zoner people. GRN activity contradicts that as of late, since they haven't been as active.
On that note, I'm sending technicians to our Comm Satellites to install new security software. Who ever this mystery sender is, I do not feel comfortable that they accessed communications without proper authorization.

Are they seriously deaf, or just stupid? Another incident to bring forth. After I stationed Eli Elwood aboard the Venture Medical Cruiser in Cortez, the Aquilon Class Carrier, one, might I add, that had it's docking bays removed to be replaced with Civilian housing. Civilian. Damned. Housing. Keyword: Civilian. You know, innocent people who want nothing to do with this conflict? Yeah, Civilians.
It was awaiting at the Freeport, when the Royal Navy accused it of "Feeding" The Colonial fighters! Funnily enough, it hadn't used a single component of Nanobots and shield batteries after arrival. They claim that it was aiding enemies of the crown. I don't care what crown it is, who's crown it is, or what the reason is anymore. I'm fed up! Another Three hundred plus, dead.
That vessel was also equipped with mobile repair equipment, but not once was it used in this conflict! Is this enough for you? We stationed one medical cruiser there, that linked up with one of our larger ships, and suddenly, It's a war. The Venture made it out alive, luckily. It still has wounded aboard from BOTH sides.
Ultimately, the vessel was destroyed. Why can't they just leave us alone!?

Captain John Fergs was piloting the ZFS-Cibalea. He is currently in critical condition on Planet Curracao, Cortez. To update, there are 475 dead. The few that were in the escape pods were resuced by two 27th fighters and returned to Curracao, Cortez. A few very fortunate individuals survived, one of them being Captain John Fergs. Today is yet another sad day. This can not continue!
The following images were recovered from the Black box aboard the ZFS-Cibalea.
