The Zoner Academy

The Zoner Academy is a "fearless" destroyer that has been specifically built to be a orphanage/boarding school. The Academy takes in zoner children whom have lost there parents in service to the zoners. Whether they died in combat, working in a base, in service to a zoner faction, a ship building accident, or just plain bad luck, if a zoner child has nowhere to go after such unfortunate circumstances, they are taken in by the Academy.

The Academy provides living quarters, state of the art classrooms and a safe and productive environment for young zoner minds to learn and grow and are given the skills necessary to survive in the zoner community and the hostile environment of space.

Our graduates have gone on to manage bases, crew capital ships, become ship builders, successful traders and many other professional occupations.

Upon graduation, our charges are given a head start in their new careers, refurnished ships are given to new pilots (limited to availability) and job placement in bases, crew positions, ship building, manufacturing and many other areas in the zoner community.

The Academy sustains itself primarily through cargo trading, this also give "real world" experience to our charges and allows them to see many sectors of Sirius. We also survive by donations from the zoner community and through connections the academy have made through providing top notch new employees and recruits to various Freeports, Zoner bases, and other Zoner employers.

Our commitment to excellence can be seen in many of our graduates that now can be found in virtually all areas of zoner employment and space faring through out Sirius wherever zoners are found.
