Greetings graduates of the Zoner Academy! If you have graduated and still wish to work with the Academy, all you have to do is tag your ship with ZAG- Note ALL graduates are welcome to do this. All you have to do is post here what your name is, there is no need to apply for anything.
Please note that we are NOT a faction, in fact we actually serve the factions by providing them fresh recruits and information as well as assisting Zoners. If a graduate wishes to stay with the academy however, this is the way you can assist us.
You can remain with us until you find a faction to join or a better job opportunity as we do not cast anyone out.
Clarification Update: To clear up some confusion about the Zoner Academy Guard and how to join. ANY Zoner can join no matter how long you have played, but by doing so, you acknowledge that you were a orphan that grew up in the Academy (Which is a "Fearless" destroyer). It does not matter what type of ship you fly, snubs are as welcome as Battleships, you do NOT have to apply for anything, as by joining you are acknowledging you are a orphan that grew up in the Academy, thus you were already a member as the Academy never casts out anyone and always accepts its graduates back.
All you have to do is simply tag your ship with [Acad] and post here, and that's it. We assist each other in all we do, The Zoner Academy Ship is the home base for the Zoner Guard, but it does NOT run the group, it simply is the base of communications and coordination. The [Acad] runs itself similar to the Zoners life style, we are simply a community of Zoners that all have one thing in common, we all grew up together.
This group is NOT a faction, its a community, we are simply a collection of orphans that look out for one another and bind together for protection, security and to assist one another. We are good as a stepping stone for Zoners that are alone and wish to belong to something while looking into a faction to join.
There is of course no limit to how long you can remain a member, forever if you wish, but we do encourage members to apply to official Zoner factions, but until that happens, you have a home with us. (Just remember that by joining you acknowledge that you grew up as a orphan and were trained at the Academy)

Read the "Academy Info" its not a academy for zoners, its a academy/boarding school for orphans that's on a ship. If a new player wishes there background to be one of these orphans, then they are a graduate of the academy and are given help getting started.
