You assume that only zoners will build stations - I don't exactly understand how am I suppose to do that with a hessian against a corsair, or a corsair against outcasts, or a bounty hunter against the order. Your suggestion doesnt work.

I never mentioned Zoners in that post.

Don't build Hessian bases in places where Corsair fleets roam.

Omega-54 is a hessian turf, the entire omegas are hessian turf - Any place is liable - not only that, if you build it somewhere else - say in Rheinland - You have rheinland millitary. Any other suggestion? Because so far It works with every other faction, except zoners and junkers. Don't build stations in a nutshell, and thats whats going to happen - which is why you might as well disable the plugin.

If you do not like the changes you are free to not build bases.

Yes I am free not to build bases, and you are not supposed to be a dev if thats your anwser - your job is to encourage people to use and enrich the stuff, not to make them dismiss it and leave the mod. I dont suppose you will step down from your own free will?

I honestly think Kazinsal has made valid points throughout this thread.

Bases are not always going to be attacked, if you play it out well in Roleplay. It's not nearly as impossible as you make it sound.

As a Dev, he has made changes to the game. Nobody is obligated to use the changes, they can merely ignore the concept (in this case, bases) and continue along their happy life without them.

Nobody is forcing you to complain, or to bring negative light on the changes to the base plugin. Take it as you will, although pointing out every single bad point while ignoring the good or positive sides won't get you very far.

Please, take a look at it from the other side. Changes are not made 'Just because the Devs feel like they should start fiddling with the code'. There are reasons.

...ok, if someone owns an ALREADY EXISTING BASE then they are free to let it be DESTROYED very easy. They are free to look at MONTHS OF WORK going up in flames in less then 2 hrs.

IS THAT WHAT YOU MEAN?

(BTW: still waiting for some USEABLE ANSWERS to my last post)

And an advise:
Don't build Hessian- or Outcast-Bases in Omicron-Gamma.

You might as well disable POBs entirely now. They're completely useless at this point.

I agree with Tel, so it's not just the ZA who thinks this is ********

I won't bother continuing to build my POB now, that's for sure.

I know the reasons for this move, but this move has not be calculated well enough. What is good about killing stations that people put a hard work on it in a matter of minutes, Is that a good thing? Or is that a good thing to masqurade the real reasons of this change, by using words such as "balance" and "community cohesion" just to satisfy one part of the community who dont like stations at all.

The only good thing is that I can use every alt on every faction and pound any station I want, shoulld I choose to. I already have a corsair char for three years, I can shoot whatever I want to, and I'll bloody well use that exploit.
You may think Im doing this for bad reasons, but alteast I have a REAL reason that im not afraid to admit. Where as you people claim that everything is in the sake of balance when clearly it is not. So this works against me but it also works for me, and thats the problem - that the more stupid/mis guided changes happen, you force us, the middle men to be hostile, because we cant voice our opinions and actually make a differance.
