Seriously though, I'm curious. Did anything ever come from this?

A new faction proposal was accepted by the Dev/Admin teams (The Revenant), but that proposal was later withdrawn after the community voiced their preference for an alternative proposal (The Etherium). The Phantom assets have since been recycled for other uses, not a new faction.

Why not continuing with Revenant and #removegallia 8) ? Ok skip the gallia part but replace phantoms with The Revenant and additionaly see how the Etherium continues and add them too maybe.

... In the meantime, the Dev team has found other good uses for the Phantom assets, which aligns with the broader community opinion of "no Phantom-replacement faction at all"; as the mod is already considered to be larger than it needs to be, this seemed like a sensible choice.
