My estimate would been like a kilometer for the top caps, 1.5 km for Nephilim and Marduk, and I find this half km small for battleships. I am not afraid to question the inRP accuracy of scaling ships to eachother, especially that I firmly believe balance comes first when scaling ships to eachother.

The liberty cruiser is 5.4 m long in sketch up that means it's 195.5 m in "real life"
And the rheinland gunboat is 2.15 m in sketch up that means it's 77.83 m in "real life"

If you look at the size comparison for the disco ships you'll see that there are ships two of three times longer then the liberty dreadnought, that would put them at your estimated 1 - 1.5 km. And of course, that same size comparison shows us what we already knew from the game, there is no capital ship balance and there can't possibly be one in discovery.

Unless you call the current Lib Carrier a Lib Dread and change gun loadout and call the original Lib Dread a Lib BS and change loadout too, there shouldn't be any problem, I'm sure there would be balance. The same would be done with Rheinland Carrier beeing a Rheinland Battleship and Original Rheinland Battleship beeing the Rheinland Dreadnought as its size shows.
I tired to put them in a relative order, carriers in the back followed by dreadnoughts and battleships then battle cruisers and finally cruisers. I might have added a gunboat there, i'm not sure, the rest of the gunboats i might add in another file if you want to see them. I also added the barge as a bonus.
Be advised, the file is huge it might take a long time or not load .
