A silky female voice that reminds one of a BBC broadcaster starts to speak, “The Dolphin was commissioned in 743 A.S. to assist in Zoner colonization efforts. Completed in 751 A.S. 18 months ahead of schedule she was immediately deployed to help supply various colonies and outposts throughout the Omicrons. In 770 A.S. The Dolphin was re-deployed along with 4 other colony vessels to help secure the Zoner hold on Planet Gran Canaria. In 772 A.S. she was decommissioned from active status and resumed her Omicron supply routes. In early 815 A.S. a group of scientists received a grant of usage of the Dolphin for a period of 5 years starting in 820 A.S.
Entering the dry docks in late 820 A.S. the Dolphin underwent extensive modifications to her superstructure to meet the specifications of the scientific group. Operation Harmony was developed and proposed by Dr. Sean Goodman, a noted Xenolinguist. Harmony is an artificial intelligence that was designed in mind to use a psionic wave emitter that is onboard. additionally Harmony is also incharge of day to day operations of the Dolphin, allowing minimal crew levels aboard the dreadnought.
With final outfitting complete the Dolphin relaunched in July 821 A.S. to start her scientific expedition.
