Slave Driver Ricardo, as you've come to know him, walks down a hallway the glowing of the heated bars keeping prisoners in their places lit the small chamber well.
*He pulls a lever on the wall and almost instantly the groaning of humans is heard some screaming others crying and a general babble of gut wrenching barely human sounds*
"Quit your moaning!" *he smacks the bars making the slaves pull their arms back in side.*
"Today is your lucky day!" *he paces the hallway* "Today each of you will have a chance to change your lives, and become a full citizen of Malta by working as a soldier of the Crimson Cross."
"Now before you get any Ideas.." *he snaps his fingers and 10 armed guards come running down the steps*
"Anyone who does not meet the cut will be executed on the spot, ground up, and turned into fertilizer. Am I clear?"
Not another word was uttered as the slaves were ushered out of the cells into a single-file line. Somewhere amidst the group, you shuffle forward, shackled to the person in front of, and behind you.
One by one, slaves are taken out of their chains, and brought into a series of smaller rooms lining the outside of the corridor.
Eventually, your time comes, and you're taken to the left, tossed in the room with a single metal chair, and the door slammed behind you. Somehow, amidst this, Ricardo made his way into your room, and now stands leaning against the wall.
Your Future:
Should you be granted entry, you'll spend a few months in the Skorba Valley on Malta, at one of the temples, learning what it means to be a member of the Cross, and to worship the spirits.
You'll be given a rank, a uniform, and a ceremonial blade. Bear them with pride Crusader.
Brief Character Description:
Born to a poor family on Malta, Antonio managed to scrap his savings from working odd-jobs on various plantations at the age of 22, however his fortunes did not improve much as due to having little-to-no connections with the greater Cartels or Families he was not able to find well paying jobs.

Frankly I have a Sabre sitting around doing nothing, I like it when my ships have a purpose and are fulfilling said purpose. And it will be a change of pace from what I normally do way down south in the Omegas.

It was many years ago when I was just a young nugget starting out. Rule-Lawyering ironically. XD The thread doesn't really exist anymore that I know of however.

I am well versed in the lore of the Maltese Nation, I have played as an OC-Aligned character in my early days (Sirius Cartel) and as an independant Outcast, also did a brief stint in the CL. So I have plenty of experience.
What is the connection between Cardamine and the Nomads?:
Cardamine was placed on Malta by the Dom Ka'Vash (spelling?) for the Nomads to 'graze' upon long ago, it is purely beneficial to Nomads as it increases the energy storage, the flow capacity and the photosynthetic processes of the Nomad's bodies in it's grass-form. Processed Cardamine has a lesser effect upon them.
