I am adressing you on 2 different topics, the first one being a Permission Request for a certain Ship to fly in Bretonia Space, and the second topic might be of Interest to the Armed Forces, for I have obtain an old report from the Gallic Royal Navy.
Regarding the first topic, We freelancers had had a problem in the past regarding one of the Laws in Bretonia which was, If not mistaken: Bretonian Charter of Interstellar Law,Chapter 3 - Restricted Items,Sub Section 3.13 - Ships Manufactured by Hostile Nations., which stated:
Quote:Anyone found flying ships produced by Bretonia's enemies will be halted and questioned about their activities. Mere possession of such a ship without corresponding ID papers constitutes as sufficient grounds for fines, prosecution or arrest. Vessels acting in contravention of this order will face a minimum fine of 2,000,000 credits and immediate expulsion from Bretonian borders or impounding. Banned ship lines include:
Corsair ships
Gaian ships
Gallic Military ships
Gallic civilian ships (unless flown by The Council)
Hogosha/Farmers Alliance ships (unless flown by Kusari Exiles) Pirate Transport, Train and Pilgrim Liners (unless flown by friendly, allied or Junker entities)
We were flying a Pitbull (Pirate Train) in Bretonia Space unaware of it being Illegal.

So, you must be wondering why I'm rambling so much, well... my objective here is to make Bretonia see our freelancing group, as friendly, or even allies!
I understand that, that would never happen if there was no proof, therefore, I want to start by sending you a recording of a conversation I once had with the Gallic Royal Navy that I believe will show you how we fight against the same enemy and for the safety of the Bretonian Civilians!
Secondly I would like to share with you, details on a contract our Group has made with one of your corporations, the BMF| Bretonia Mining and Fabrication which is currently active.
This all, to prove to you that we have been working in favor of Bretonia since the creation of our Group... the contract we made with the BMF| was our first big job, and we are currently still working with them.
I am now going straight to the point... I want to ask Permission for our Engineers to pilot the Pitbull(Pirate Train) inside Bretonia Space.
Our contract with BMF| is exacly the reason why I am asking this... Our group has been receiving a lot of requests regarding the supply of some other bases, A freelancer base in Kyushu and a Zoner base in Baffin, and It's proving to be very difficult for our Engineers to keep supplying the 2 BMF| bases on a daily basis with Food, Water, Oxygen and Reeinforced Alloys using only the limited cargo space that the Serenity ship has to offer. We could surely use the extra cargo the Pitbull gives us.
We in the [FL-ER] are willing to accept any terms you'd have for granting us this permission.
If we have to pay some sort of permit tax, that's fine, we will pay;
If we have to NOT install any weapons whatsoever on the Pitbull, that is fine, we won't install any weaponary, we simply need it for the Cargo!

Moving on to the second Issue I'm contacting you about.
One of my Comrades, Sargeant Shogun was doing some recoinansse in Gallia and he found an old Wreck where he then extracted a file that read: "CLASSIFIED: Intel Data on Nearby Systems"
I will upload a bit of Information about it, It seems to be very old, but I figure it could still be of use to you.
That is only the Beginning and End of the file. If you want me to deliver the file, just tell me who I should give it too. I will be staying in Planet New London for a while so It should be easy to meet someone to deliver it.

Your request to fly the "Pitbull" is once again denied. There are a lot of freelancers that fight against the Gauls, and a lot of corporations that aid us against them as well. What have you done specifically that sets you above these others. I see nothing currently that proves this by way of reports from our Police authority, nor the military and intelligence branches. Therefore, I have no reason to elevate your current status with House Bretonia to friendly or allied status. I'm afraid you will have to aid Bretonia much more than that to gain rights to the Pitbull class train.
As to the data you have acquired, the Admiralty Board of Bretonia informs me they are currently in possession of one of these documents. I'm sure that the Intelligence Branch would be interested in their own copy, and have been forwarded your contact details. I'm sure they will arrange to confiscate the documents as soon as it becomes plausible.
I must thank you on behalf of the government for your inquiry, but I regret to inform you that at this time, the government does not see the need to approve your request. I will advise you to work closer with the law keeping branches of Bretonia though to improve this standing in the future. Good luck Mr Soares.
